The pull to the water is strong! So strong that Bethany Kuiper can't seem to stay away. Now she is back in Rhode Island, this time making friends with danger and deceit. But with the real reason for her return always just beyond the reach of the next twisting wave, she has to ask herself...'Was her revisit to the ocean one bit disastrous mistake?' Susan Flach has done it again. Another excellently written novel of intrigue with unpredictable twists and turns. Well done!
I love it!! You are brought into the main character's thoughts and feelings throughout the book. I also love the underwater descriptions! Takes you right there in a mesmerizing way! In any danger passages, you are feeling it!The ending is like a sweet fairy tale. But, wait, maybe not. I will let the reader find out!

A Sound and A Shadow was just as fantastic as the first book. I loved it! The book was well written and it kept my interest the entire time. I could not set it down and I am so excited for the third book!
