A touching personal tribute and series of remembrances of a much loved husband and spiritual leader, Major Ian Thomas, and the development of Torchbearers Centers all over the world. It would be wonderful is someone would write a more thorough biography of Ian and Joan Thomas. This is more sentimental than insightful. However, it’s the only work on the remarkable couple. So until a proper biography is made, this will do.

I had the privilege of meeting Major Ian Thomas when I served as Vice-President of Ministries at Sandy Cove Ministries in North East, MD. His book The Saving Life of Christ and his message Sit, Walk, Stand, greatly impacted my life.

Little did I know that I would end up as the President/CEO of America's Keswick, and the same message that I read and heard about while serving at Sandy Cove, is the Keswick message.

I have also been blessed to know Major Thomas' son, Chris.

This was a very special read about the ministry of Torchbearers.

I have met the author and she was super nice. So, when I saw the book come out, I was really excited and read the book. The book follows the life of Ian Thomas, who founded torchbearers Bible schools. I really enjoyed reading this book.
