Okay, the series for me kind of went backwards. I normally don’t read superhero books and I guess this might be the reason. Book three for me was slightly worse than book two. I skimmed a TON. Marco was just plain silly for a villain, onyx was also summers Eve to the max and that whole situation was just more frustrating than anything with no real conclusion. No real revenge or closure behind it. Dahlia was on the cover but had literally nothing to do with the book, maybe 5% of it if that. Why did she get a cover? Why is she in the harem? The Pixie should have been on the cover and Dalia should be the afterthought. The mayor was disgusting, nothing came of violet 🤷🏽♂️ and basically the story ended but with so much open ended. The author did mention this and that he may take it into a next book but I won’t see it if he does. But hey, that’s just me. I’m happy others enjoyed this series and I wish this author success. But this series wasn’t for me although I did give it a shot. Time to see what’s next on the shelf that strikes our fancy. Onward lads!
The overall view of this series a very simple storyline. I feel the series fall flat in a lot of areas. The first book starts with a confusing outline of the world. A world that is the same as earth but different in superheroes and technology but also very out dated technology. The government is almost none existent, everything is operating by the superhero corporation. The main character doesn’t help the with the lessening the confusion. He is described selfish asshole who cares for nothing and no, but his actions are all about being the hero the world deserves and being selfless to the people in his life. The other characters are all females apart of the main characters harem. The main story outline has some interesting elements, from mind control to corruption of the main stream heroes. The main story falls flat by being over shadowed by the relationships between the MC and the harem. There is no real character development which makes it a very long winded series. The series ends with many unresolved conflicts, along with the author notes in the final book. The author has very little interest in finishing the series. I give the series 3 star main due to the main story having some interesting elements.
Enjoyable series overall. Nothing super spectacular however this book was a bit of a Disappointment. I understand what the author is trying to achieve but the mechanism Was clunky an unrealistic even in the genre. Do you think that the mega corps are the only ones with cameras and microphones/recorders. Anyways all come out good in the end and of course a new supervillain To deal with.
This is a must read if you enjoy fantasy or science fiction in this genre!!! The author has really developed an exceptional world for us the readers to let our imagination run wild in!!! I personally can't wait to see wht comes next from this author either in this series or another!!!!
Always keeps a villain on th horizon! New one could be more powerful, but as gray said he is not alone. I remember quite a few that were forced by the controller. Are the corporations sidelined?
This third installment keeps with the theme of the storyline. It has action, drama and some erotica thrown in to keep it spicy. I enjoyed the read and look forward to the next novel.
I don't want to give any spoilers here so I do recommend you read and enjoy the book but I hope Danny does write another book in this series as I would but and read it.
Excellent third book. The saucy scenes are well written but honestly my favourite thing about this series is the creative and interesting ways the powers are used. Really hope this series continues
