Feeling guilty at not having made his engagement to April official over the Christmas holidays, Jerry seeks to join her and Max for their annual after-Christmas getaway to Frankenmuth, Michigan.
Not only is he looking forward to visiting the quaint Bavarian town, but since the town is known to visitors as a Christmas town, he sees this as a way to recreate the holiday spirit and finally make a commitment to both April and her daughter. What Jerry doesn't expect is to be drawn into a bidding war at a local estate sale or play referee to two spirits who discover he can see them and demand he help settle their differences.
Just when Jerry thinks he has things under control, the Ghost of Christmas Past makes his presence known in the merry little town, causing things to feel a tad less jolly. Will Jerry be able to restore the status quo in the beautiful Christmas town in time to ask April to be his bride before they return home? Or will his plan be thwarted by things beyond his control?
Find out when Jerry, Gunter, and the gang return in Merry Me, book fifteen of The Jerry McNeal Series.

The book was fun and full of adventure too. I liked that Jerry loves April and Max so much and shows it throughout the story. Of course Gunther and the other “spirits” are lots of fun and add to the mysteries Jerry encounters.
MerryMe is a great addition to the Jerry McNeal series. As usual, Jerry encounters fun characters. I absolutely recommend this and the rest of the Jerry Mcneal series books.

𝕄𝕖𝕣𝕣𝕪 𝕄𝕖 The Jerry McNeal series - Book 15 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗔. 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻 Ghost Fiction 181 pages
Sʜᴏᴿᴛ Sʏɴᴏᴘsɪs Jerry struggles with finding the right time to ask April to marry him after missing his chance at Christmas. He is excited when April and Max invite him on their annual Frankenmuth trip.
Will he find the perfect time to propose? Will ghosts interfere? And what other shenanigans could happen?
Mʸ Tᴴᴼᵁᴳᴴᵀs Merry Me is all about relationships. Jerry, April, and Max form stronger bonds while exploring Frankenmuth and hitting an estate sale. The dogs are there but not as prominently as it focuses more on Jerry’s future family and some ghostly requests.
Gunter, of course, makes appearances and is as protective as usual. Houdini stays with friends of the family this time though. Bringing a pup who is half ghost to this event could’ve caused some issues.
I love the Frankenmuth setting, as I’ve been there several times. Reading about the town while picturing the actual images in my head is extra entertaining. I especially appreciated the Christmas aspect of Frankenmuth.
I can’t wait to see what this group gets up to next!
💕Thank you to Sherry Burton for providing this book for me to read and review.
I received an early copy of this book and I can honestly say… Wow!!! You will not be disappointed in the least! The magic continues with “Merry Me.” This book finds Jerry and Gunter in Frankenmuth, Michigan and as the title states trying to find the perfect way to propose. Simple enough right, yet not so when there is danger and roaming and ghostly spirits afoot. I don’t want to give away and spoilers but be prepared to want to visit Michigan, especially Frankenmuth!! I can’t wait to visit all of the interesting and mouthwatering places that were mentioned. I love each and every one of the books in the Jerry McNeal series so much because each one is unique and captivating. I love how I am taken away while reading and feel the magic of all of the places she mentions. You actually feel like you are there! I have read many, MANY, books and series and yet very few authors can bring me to the place Mrs. Burton does with her books. If you have been eagerly anticipating the release of this book as much as I have, you won’t be disappointed in the least. All of your favorite characters are there, along with a few new ones now too. ❤️
The More The Merrier! Jerry McNeal is back in the 15th installment of the Sherry Burton series , and each story gets better and better. Jerry is in a quandary. He was supposed to propose to his wonderful girlfriend April during Christmas , but cold feet prevented him from doing so. He loves her and her daughter, Max more than anything, but is fearful that he cannot keep them safe , especially with his job as a paranormal investigator. He throws caution to the wind and they plan a trip to the lovely little town of Frankenmuth, Michigan, not knowing what dangers lay ahead. Of course there is plenty of action, ghosts ( friendly and annoying) and all is well that ends well . I loved this book and was introduced to Frankenmuth , which I had never heard of before. What I love about Jerry is that we see and hear his vulnerabilities about life, his regrets and his learning how to let go of the past and love the life he has with April , Max, Gunter and Houdini!
Jerry, April & Max book into an Hotel where both April & Max have longed to stay when they went annually to this magical town together. They related the stories of previous years, and when the word auction was mentioned, Jerry just couldn't resist tagging along. He phoned Fred, his 'boss', to book a few days leave, and asked him to provide undercover protection for them, whilst they were away. Along with them went Gunter, of course, and 2 spectral sisters who wanted Jerry to bid on an article they very much wanted back. Mahem follows Jerry wherever he goes, and it was no different this time, but you will have to read the book for yourselves to find out what happens next..........
April, Max and Jerry are going to a town in Michigan that celebrates Christmas all year long. But Jerry's spider senses are working overtime. April is having dreams about her former husband who was just released from prison. Fred has called out the calvary to keep them safe. No privacy, can't find the right moment, too many distractions, poor Jerry is still trying to propose. Will he get a chance? Will April say yes? A must read for all not just Jerry and Gunther wanna-bes. Great job as always. Thank you.
Jerry and Gunter are taking the girls they love on romantic trip only things go wrong.
Jerry and Gunter are known as the psychic ghost seeker and Gunter is his ghost K-9. They are going to take a vacation with April and Max. The woman he loves and her psychic ghost seeing daughter, only he has a feeling something is wrong. When he reports to his boss he gets more support than he expected. But the local ghosts also want his help and keep messing with his proposal time. Bad guys and ghosts make a strange but great story.
Fred has assembled an interesting group and I hope we learn more about all their skill sets Jerry takes a vacation with April and Max and ends up with ghosts disturbing him the whole time for his help. The Christmas angle was interesting and seeing Susie and her growth was a positive. April showed signs of psychic gifts and growth as well which could have caused a problem, but thankfully with Jerry’s planning earlier and Fred’s approach to protecting his team all ended up ok. The end was sweet and I can’t wait for the next book.
I just finished Merry Me and all I can say is WOW! This book is up to par with the rest of the series, exciting, funny, tense, extraordinary! And besides, who doesn't like a book with two German Shepherd's in it?! I don't want to say to much because I don't want to give anything away since it only came out yesterday and a lot of people haven't read it yet. This book was well worth the wait, and so will the next one!
I've been reading about Jerry and Gunter from the beginning and I've enjoyed every book since then. Jerry used to be so cocky, but since meeting Max and April he's matured into a more introspective and thoughtful man. He's grown and knows what it's like to have a family and friends. And then there's Gunter. What a dog! I love him and his crazy antics. And I hope there's more Houdini in the future. Looking forward to the next adventure. I will be reading!
Jerry, April and Max are on a little adventure to Frankenmuth, Michigan. I can only say that what a wonderful place to visit. But, the crazy little Bunny ghost is talking to all ghosts and telling them about Jerry. I am not saying nothing else so there are no spoilers because if you havent read books 1- 14 then you need to get busy reading. Love this series 💕
Jerry McNeal is not chasing disaster this time around but is feeling "itchy" without knowing why. Meanwhile, he needs to propose to April. A light weekend outing with April and Max turns into ghostly interferences and a bad guy getting his due. Not as suspenseful as previous books in the series but a nice read all around.
Without imagination and without much of a plot, perhaps the brevity of the book is the only saving Grace. Ms. Burton seems to have experienced ‘Jerry McNeal fatigue.’ After enjoying all previous books in the series, this two hour offering cured any desire for more from this author.
My absolute hope is that Ms. Burton does not ever tire of writing The Jerry McNeal series. Its one that you look forward to the next book just to see what is going to happen. So many interesting characters and story lines! Only gave it 4 stars because I thought there could be more to this one!
I really enjoyed this adventure with Jerry, April, Max, and of course, Gunther. What an experience it would be to have spirits always around and Feds to the rescue. I can't imagine what it will be for all of them living in that big house. More please.
Jerry had a dream that April was hurt in an explosion. The next morning they decided to do a weekend trip to a Christmas town two hours away. Jerry called Fred to set up surveillance. Jerry kept having to deal with ghostly problems but things turn when they run into Randy but Gunter subdued him. Jerry finally proposes. Love this series.
Ever since the beginning of this series, I have been hooked. Every story has been so well told and this one is too. If there is downside, it's that I read the whole book in one sitting. I love the characters and everything about Jerry and his life. It's going to be a long time for me to wait for book 16.
I love this series! I know the stories are designed short but i always want more. I like the field of characters on this series. Mr Jeffries is almost a ghost himself - a unseen person that Makes things happen. I may have lost track of Susie from a previous book. I am patiently waiting for the next book.
Light hearted, but keeps you entertained. I love this series because it’s fun and interesting at the same time. I enjoy the spirits and their activity. Jerry is a good person and to add April and Max gives it a sort of feel good quality. No sex, no real violence and Spirits!
Finally they get engaged! This book was more about the build up to Jerry asking April to marry him than about any life threatening situation. I was a little disappointed in how quick amen clean the ex was captured in the end. Should have been more of a challenge.
I have read all of your Jerry McNeal books and have enjoyed them immensely. I would leave a longer review but am currently dealing with a fractured wrist and elbow. Loved every minute of these books.
Waited all this time for a short story. Jerry's feelings dragged out and made up most of the story. I lost interest and started skipping pages . Really too bad be cause the other books are great.
Delightful. Some fun with spirits and a trip to a magical Christmas town interspersed with some drama. Gunter helps save the day and April gets an unexpected surprise of two.
These are the best books! Jerry, April and Max go to visit a Christmas village. Things go a bit sideways but never fear, Gunther is always on guard. I can’t wait for the next book!
Was a great story line. Was worth the wait to finally see Jerry ask the most important question. I totally enjoy the development of the characters and how Gunter interacts with Jerry.
All I have say is I love all your books, all the stories are well done, the dogs and the amazing people around him... excellent work, can't wait on your next book of Jerry McNeal series .
This was another terrific addition to this series, and I can't wait to see where it goes from here. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
