"This is Mulberry. Nothing bad ever happens here!"

Small towns are generally safe. Somewhere you can leave your car or home unlocked at night without worry. Kids frolic around the town, joyful to be playing outdoors without parental supervision because it's so safe. It's too safe. No bad people live in these towns. Nothing bad ever happens in these towns. Murderers, drugs, and stalkers don't come here. Those only happen in big cities. Right?

Okay, debut novel. Solid quick horror read.
It was atmospheric & the ending I never saw coming. I really enjoy a suspenseful read & this one definitely delivered that.
The characters were easy to connect with & they felt like people you knew in your everyday life.
A quick story reminding you that no matter where you are from, you should always lock your doors because monsters are real. 👻

& i would just like to mention, I really like the cover art of this paperback, it now sits bold & vibrant on my shelf.

This is the authors debut novel, and it was better than I expected. It's very easy to read. The storyline was great, and the ending is definitely not what I expected. All I can say is Wow!! I'm not a fan of horror books as most get too detailed for me. The author did a good job of giving just enough detail so you're able to picture it without getting triggered, in my opinion. All in all, I liked it and would recommend it to others to read.

A small town that reminds me very much of the one I grew up in, but suddenly it isn't as safe as everyone thought. The author captures the cringe worthy teen romance perfectly along with difficult decisions early on and the twist at the end? Perfectly executed, in my opinion. The ending will definitely have you in your feels. Quick read too, especially if you like horror. This is awesome especially for a debut novel.

This is absolutley horrible and not worth the authors ego. I don't want to be mean but the writing style is bad, like geniunly bad. The female characters are also horrible to read and there is a lack of knowledge about how the hymen works.

Wouldn't recommend it.
