Now, this is a problem with our modern lifestyle. We always end up buying much, much more than we need to survive, which becomes clutter at some time of our lives. The more we own, the more cluttered our worlds become. At some point, there seems to be nothing else to do but to remedy the situation.
Decluttering - that’s the new trend going around these days. Decluttering isn’t just about throwing out junk and unwanted possessions you don’t need in your life, but about learning to live with what’s absolutely compulsory! It’s about knowing that no one needs to depend on material good in life to be happy or content. Decluttering isn’t just a step you take to clean your house, but a lifelong journey and practice.
So, what can you find in this book?
Reasons to declutter your life, your home and your world. If you didn’t have enough motivation to start, you might find them here. A glimpse into my personal decluttering journey. Proven ways to declutter not just your home and workplace, but also other more personal aspects of your life. And much more. If you are thinking of decluttering, or if you are interested to know about the concept, you can find them all in this book.
Straight to the point and easy to follow along. While it didn’t offer anything new that I hadn’t heard before, I appreciated that the advice wasn’t overwhelming or overly complicated. A simple, no nonsense refresher on minimalism and mental clarity.
Do you need multiple reminders to keep your walls clear? If yes, this book might be for you. Lord knows it's not for me since I have a total of 1 item hung on my wall and it's not going anywhere!
I would give it 1/5 stars because I literally learnt nothing new and don't feel motivated by this book to declutter my life or mind after reading this book. But, 1/5 seems harsh.
Honestly, if you're practicing English I might recommend this book: sentences make sense, and the reading level is beginner / easy. I would not recommend for if you are looking to declutter because this is not very helpful for that. I actually think my mind is more cluttered now then before and I don't want to read this book again.
Simple strategies that don't overwhelm. Categories are designed for success. Implementation within reach. Her personal reflection made it personal for me. Motivated. Thank you!
