"Black in Time" is a book aimed at the younger reader and lists over twenty Black Britons from Roman to modern times. You can find information about many of the names in other books and reference sources. A couple of people mentioned I hadn't heard of. Still, by following the references the authors provided or doing a quick online search, it was easy to find information about them and verify who they were.

This was a quick read and an excellent book I recommend to others, young and old.

amazing read!
I learned so much! I've just moved to UK and honestly don't know much about Black British folk. Hearing stories from ancient Rome to present day was a breath of fresh air. I love Alison Hammond and wish I had the audio of this. It's a fast easy to read for all ages. It's a fun ride into history, the stories may have a lot of starts with slavery but the focus being on what these individuals accomplished and how they paved the way for Black people and people of colour is wonderful to read.

Only one or two black people mentioned.
Not about any black Britons.

Incredibly inaccurate.
Incredibly ridiculous.

But not surprising.
