Brandon Blair created a thrilling book full of adventure, highly packed action and paranormal scary stuff. I really liked it! You keep connecting with all the characters which is not easy. It is very hard for an author to create empathy between the reader and the characters, but you can expect it in Electus: Bloodlines. Also, the cover already presents an element of the unknown and that something will happen with our scary characters. And have you seen this awesome cover? If it doesn’t scream fun, then I don’t know what will.
I recommend Electus: Bloodlines as it is a great urban fantasy book. Honestly, it is my favourite kind of genre. With Jared and Ryder we will learn about friendship and how your world can be turned upside down when Jared starts having weird dreams where people are murdered.
Our main character, Jared has a though task, he has to save the world and solve all the mysteries that are happening in his dreams. What will he do, is the world safe? You will have to read it to find out.
Too me this book is a must for this summer. You can expect a roller coaster of emotions and it is really short. Believe me when I tell you that it is addictive, I have read it in a couple days. Perfect to peaky readers who want to start reading fantasy.
I can’t wait to read the next books!

One plot, three stories and multiple sub-plots; this book by Brandon Blair is all you could ask for to enter an illusionary world of your dreams. It follows the lives of primarily fours high schoolers in a little town called Blair Falls (a good ode to the author!) and is filled with mystery and events, deep-rooted and with long effect.

This book is perfect for the young readers and of course, certain aficionados. However, even though I was neither, I found the book quite compelling and interesting. It never felt too cult-like a read and seemed very approachable, which is something I loved about it. I would have liked the third story to have been as well elaborated and thought out like the first two, but hey, the first story was as simple and perfect, it does make up for all else.

In conclusion, I would say it is a good book and an absolute must for young readers, so much that it almost feels like a new age superhero shebang!
