A rising Gen Z star empowers members of her generation to embrace conservative values and to rise up and fight for the future and those who will come after us
Gen Z has the power to change the world. As the largest emerging demographic in American history, Gen Z is at the center of a cultural shift, one that will define the direction of our country for generations to come. Intellectually curious, culturally courageous, and unafraid to push societal boundaries, Gen Z is ready to embrace leadership as the most educated generation in history. These young and often underestimated Americans are here to fight for a better future—and we won’t wait for permission to lead.
Rising content creator Isabel Brown is smart, driven, and passionate—a strong champion for truth in America. She fervently believes that Gen Z has the power, the potential, and the opportunity to define the cultural direction of America. The End of the Alphabet is a rallying cry for Gen Z to embrace traditional values in a new-age way and step up to make our voices heard.
Although taking an active role in culture and politics is nothing new for young people, today’s youth face overwhelming push back from older demographics. Looked down on by those who came before us as too young, too naive, and too unique to impact our society, Gen Z’ers are instead told to sit down and shut up until they have earned enough “life experience” to lead. This view of Gen Z is crippling and deeply ignorant of the cultural shifts we have and will experience in the coming decades as Gen Z begins to step into positions of power and leadership.
So, who is Gen Z? What does the future of our nation—and conservatism—look like with Gen Z at the helm? Read this book to find out.
I’d recommend this book to anyone, but especially to fellow Gen Z members. It really opened my eyes to the different takes people have on our generation, and gave me hope for the future instead of dwelling in all the negative that most feel the need to share about Gen Z. And it’s not just for conservatives / Christians / etc. While those aspects of the author are shared, Isabel did a great job at writing to everyone, no matter what their beliefs.
“Gen Z is at the end of the alphabet, and even at the end of life as we know it—but perhaps that’s not such a bad thing after all.” Isabel is one of my favorite political commentators. She is conservative, Catholic, and refreshingly authentic. Her plucky optimism stands out among countless voices saying that Gen Z is the reason for our cultural decline. I work in marketing for higher ed so I found her insights on our generation incredibly helpful and the statistics she reveals are something I am going to continue to keep an eye on. I’m giving her book 4 ⭐️ for occasional language, but I otherwise enjoyed the read.
I wish more people would be willing to the perspective of those like Isabel Brown. Another young, brilliant, and well-spoken woman doing God’s work. As Jesus warned, it isn’t easy, but it’s necessary. Do not be of the world but in it.
I enjoyed this commentary on Gen Z by one of there own. As a millennial, I remember all the hate we got as youth/ young adults and now I am old enough to see the blame be passed on to the next generation. Humankind loves to point the figure at others. Imagine a world where we encouraged, discipled, encaged, and championed the next generation instead of blaming them for the state of the world (and leaving them to be discipled and raised by the voices of the world - ex. the left.) I personally was convicted to be bold and engage with those around me - treating young and old with dignity and boldly sharing my convictions. I was also encouraged to hear a different side of the narrative reminding myself that God is at work in all generations and no generation or people group is "too far gone." I'm inspired and proud of the children who are growing up in a hard political & digital & cultural climate and still hold onto a Biblical worldview. May we all (no matter our generation) be the light to this world and faithful to what the Lord calls us to (even if we get "canceled" for it!) The calls to action are for Gen Z, but I think it is a good read for all generations and a reminder that a kingdom divided only falls.
Political commentary isn’t my genre forte by any means. With so many voices clamouring to be heard, it can be overwhelming. However, I’ve long enjoyed Isabel’s commentary clips on Instagram, which made me even more curious about her book.
Isabel writes how she talks—passionately, authentically, personably. This was probably my favourite part of the reading experience! She offers up plenty of solid points & good food for thought, but her overflowing passion was what really caught my attention. A few topics struck me as repetitive, but that was a minor point. I’ve never “claimed” a generation as I was born in the years few people agree about being Gen Z or Millennial, and for all intents and purposes was essentially “raised Millennial” compared to my younger siblings and cousins. BUT! This is definitely a worthwhile read, regardless of what generation you fall under!
Content: language (mostly mild but includes an s-word and 4 f-bombs—>these are quoted material not the author’s words)
*Thank you to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for the complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a positive review. These are my honest thoughts and opinions.
Isabel Brown is a clear spoken intelligent young woman, and her message is one we all need to hear today. Gen Z is a generation unafraid of kicking against societal norms and forging our own paths forward, and I truly wish all of my peers would read this book and realize how vital it is that we fight to have a voice in our country rather than letting older generations tell us we're too young or inexperienced to know what we're talking about or have an opinion.
These 2 quotes from the book really stuck with me: • "We don't have the luxury of sitting on the sidelines in an increasingly complicated world. America desperately needs leadership, now." • "We are a generation made for such a time as this, boldly embracing the call to lead our culture into a stronger future."
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who cares about the future of America, old and young, we all need to be willing to work together to better our country. Learning from each other, engaging in frequent conversation especially with those we disagree with, and taking a stand for our beliefs. Gen Z makes up a significant amount of our country's population, and we have a lot to contribute.
I appreciate the premise and I really, truly wanted to like this book. Brown makes important points about not painting Gen Z with one broad brush, and about how rebellion can take a new form more rooted in the United States' founding values -- fingers crossed! But the book suffers from overwriting, which is kind of ironic for a generation that seems to want to abbreviate every word (or is that the Millennials? apologies if I'm getting them confused, I'm an unapologetic Boomer). Or maybe it is the result of the unrestricted nature of the new media. Either way, I'm afraid Brown's message will be missed by the TL:DR crowd. I looked in the Acknowledgements for an editor being thanked, but I only see a "writing coach" (a title I never knew existed!), so there's that. I do think this is an important path to follow. No matter what, Gen Z will take charge for some period of the USA's future. If we can all listen more, be a bit more open to the why behind what others are saying, doing, feeling, maybe we can see that we share more than we don't and can walk a path forward together.
This is isabel brown's second book. If you know anything about isabel's locals community or the mini appearances she has had. Mud like my last review of her first book she speaks her mind. I will admit it's not for everyone, however if you like hearing from a different point of view this one's for you. I always like hearing what Isabel has to say I bought it a few days before it was to be released. The turnaround for this book seems to be not long ago and I have a feeling. One day isabel will be off the computer screens phones and tablets. But until then if you wanna hear a conservative point of view with nonjudgmental personality then would like to book you like the last one. My advice to you follow her YouTube channel. That is why I jumped at the chance to read this book because I love her perspective on topics that our society doesn't pay enough attention.
I follow Isabel Brown and Dave Rubin on Instagram and was very interested to hear what she had to say about her generation. As a Xennial who leans more towards Gen X than Millennial, I was surprised to learn that she spoke of the same things I long for. A way back to sanity, an America that gives hope, and one that feels safe. I applaud the fact that her generation has social media at their fingertips and in a world where Libs of TikTok looks for the most outrageous clips, there are youth who still speak about conservative values. It will be interesting to see how the future pans out for them and I hope to be able to see it.
Isabel Brown's second book is an engaging, thought-provoking read that's hard to put down. She skillfully examines America's culture war issues, clarifying that her generation didn't spark these problems. Instead, many in her Gen Z cohort are eager to address and resolve them. Isabel is at the forefront of a movement to bridge generational divides—bringing together Gen Z, Gen X, Millennials, Boomers, and others. Readers of her book will gain a deeper appreciation for the WWII-era phrase, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall," and be inspired to foster unity across generations.
I’m aligned with many of Isabel‘s positions, but I struggled with [what I felt were] her many defensive rants.
Granted, I’m not cynical about Gen Z. So, obviously, I am not her intended audience.
Despite some of my eyebrow raises, questions, and comments in the margins, I’ve recommended this book to a number of thoughtful Gen Z professionals I trust, and I’m eager too talk about it in the next few months. Either I understand things better than most, or I am really missing it!
This book gives me hope! It give me hope that yes, GenZ is the end of the alphabet, but this is just the beiginning. I was a “salty” GenZer with a negative outlook on culture and the future of this great nation, but now I truly have a path and a better mindset. There is so much great content (backed with facts and logic) in these 200 pages. Words can not describe how impactful this book is, and can be. Thanks for everything!
If you want to understand the upcoming generation or even your children that are this age then this is worth a listen. Clear description of generation Z. What it lacks is the wisdom of age and experience. It was a little too confident at times. She is a sharp girl and I’m excited there are many like her coming up to counteract the whiny nature of millennials.
This book really changed my perspective on gen Z, and the POSITIVE influence of social media - who knew?! It gave me hope for a better future for my own children, and emphesised the importance of having difficult conversations with those we might not usually engage with. Thank you Isabel! From you're no.1 fan across the pond. 😅
