A former student sent a copy of this book after hearing I was having trouble with all the life-changing upheavals of the past year and more. Reading this book was more than motivational--Ms. McWilliams has a gift: for sharing her story of overcoming adversity in a way that inspires others to emulate her can-do attitude; for sharing others' stories of devastating losses and how they overcame; and for encouragement that goes beyond the platitudes of "rah, rah, you can do it" to connecting in a personal way and so inspire in a meaningful way, making this reader think, "Wow! She/they endured all that and found a way to persevere and thrive, so I can too!"

HIGHLY recommended to anyone who has suffered personal loss of any kind and who has temporarily forgotten how to cope.
