As técnicas que eu consegui testar na sala de aula deram certo, algumas são muito da estrutura das escolas gringas (salas separadas pra cada professor e etc). O índice remissivo no final é muito útil pra referência.

Really good. However it does rely on techniques which aren't allowed in every school eg. Corridors which are too narrow so you can't line students up, keeping a student back for 2 minutes makes them late for the next lesson, an activity is deemed as inappropriate by management, especially if this excitement leads to noise eg. A two minute video or a 5 minute chat starting from students' life experience is deemed as wasting lesson time.

This is a great book with simple but complete ways to take control of a classroom. This book would be perfect for all beginner teachers. It includes ideas for all parts of the school day! And also includes free resources as well. I would definitely recommend this book!

Excellent strategies

I teach self-contained special education classes at a middle school with a lot of high-needs students. I've already tried several strategies from this text with great success, and am looking forward to finally getting my classroom under control.

Though some of the things may not be applicable in a private Nepali school setting, most the strategies are useful. I tried a few and saw that it worked. Can't wait to apply the techniques in the next academic session.

Not all of the information was new, but it compiled a lot of the best things I've read over the last few years. This guy worked in a tough environment. He GETS IT. I would recommend every teacher struggling with classroom management read this.

Unapologetically British approach to classroom management. Reinforces good practices and introduces the reader to lesser known management strategies
