I’d describe my experience as just okay—somewhere between average and mildly impactful.
The discussions around Islam, spirituality, and personal transformation were beautifully written, no doubt.
However, the overall storyline felt underwhelming. It didn’t fully engage me, and I couldn’t form a strong emotional connection with the main characters, Imama and Salar.
That said, I did appreciate a few scenes—especially when Imama and Salar meet toward the end.
Despite its strong message and good writing style, the book didn’t fully resonate with me. For me, it remains a “so-so” read—worth appreciating for its spiritual depth, but not something I’d consider exceptional.
