This was more a story of the times and people, some romance, but mostly drama. Not especially true to life in story, but believable in a sense, character wise.
Did not have a happy ending. More than anything else, I didn’t like that. Also contains cheating in a sense.
Some of the writing is very beautiful and visually evocative, it’s for this reason I gave it 2 ⭐️.
