After Gavin and Leah,as well as Jax and Esther reconnected,there were two people in their group of friends that i was left wondering about.
Aiden and Cyana were firm friends and both dominant,so where were the subs that could make them happy?
And then Golden Angel showed these two another option…..one that i couldn’t wait to find out how thát would work!
Lucky for me,i got the ARC,and i settled in for the very entertaining outcome of a bet between these two.
They never should’ve made that bet,right?
Losing it,and knowing he’d have to submit to Cyana at her place for one evening makes Aiden nervous.
Especially knowing that he hasn’t enjoyed playing for a while now.
And especially knowing that his body seems to like the idea of submitting to her.
Enjoying it that much confuses him even more.
He is a freakin’ Dom,for heaven’s sake!
Has been for more than 30 years!
So why can’t he bring himself to play with a sub at Outlands anymore?
Seeing Cyana at their weekly game of C & C is awkward and rather than trying to act casual,he freezes her out.

I've been on a monster/alien/fantasy creature romance kick for a while, but I need a femdom fix. (Because finding sci-fi/fantasy femdom is damn near impossible.)
This was pretty good! It's a very down to earth, slice of life story. We've got the dungeon/club setup with lots of Couples From Previous Books, and meddling friends.
The best part of this (besides the sex scenes 😏) was Aiden's struggle with his identity, pride, and shame. Logically he knew there was nothing wrong with submitting, but emotionally...?
I really liked how it was written.
Cyana was ok. She didn't really have as much of an arc as Aiden, which made her character less interesting to me. But I really, really liked that for once the domme wasn't a sex worker. I don't know why most contemporary femdom has an experienced domme also be a sex worker. It was nice having a heroine domme who was in it solely for her own pleasure.
My one complaint is the rapid POV switching. I don't like being jerked back and forth between characters' head spaces. I love dual POV! But I don't like when the switch happens every 2 pages.

totally Wonderful BDSM Club book
I really think that this book is totally wonderful. It is basically a friends to lovers story that has BDSM as a central element. There are some great BDSM scenes that have 🔥 and it has characters that I loved. So I really loved this book and if you like BDSM stories I am sure you will really enjoy it

I thought that this book had an amazing story to tell, and I loved it. Cyana and Aiden's tale had such an intriguing, one that I had not personally come across before, and that really caught my attention and interest. There is a heavy thread of emotional turmoil here that I felt truly made the story easy to connect with and the characters quite relatable. This couple's romance is hot and fun but also filled with heart and feels. I've enjoyed all the other books in this series, but this one is my favorite and, in my opinion, something quite special. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

Golden Angel’s books tend to include some introspection, and this is no exception to that; if anything, it’s more introspective than usual. The premise is fascinating, and Cyana is easily one of her best characters. It was Aiden I had trouble with. I think the level of misunderstanding Aiden achieved was both understandable and annoying (see, it was me not him!), but this book is also about the importance of friendship and communication, and it is ultimately an immensely satisfying ending. Plus – that island? Sign me up! I’m sorry to say goodbye to this series and its characters, and I’m hoping for at least a novella on them in the future again.

Aiden and Cyana are best friends, Dominants, are attracted to each other and in a bet. Loser has to submit to the winner. Cyana wins. Aiden has not been happy recently at the club. Their night together is fabulous.
Aiden can’t proceed with the “things go back to normal” after that night. He is a Dom, and he was able to relax and enjoy his night while not being in charge, but he is a Dom (Yes, he can’t get around this). Lots of insights into the headspace and how it messes with you.
If you’ve read any of this series you know the whole group is in-tune with each other, and they pick up on the change in interactions. A remote location for a collaring ceremony pushes these two into the same space (actually same suite) and provides an opportunity to try a new dynamic.
We have the expected sizzling times, but we also have the power of friendship, the mindset, relationship, and trust that is required for this to work. SImply Fabulous story.

They not only are part of the same inner group at the club but this group also gets together all the time outside of the club.
Aiden feels an attraction to Cyana but cannot get around the fact he is a Dom. After losing a bet, he has to submit to her for one night. His male ego grapples with the fact that he should be the one in control but that same ego will not allow him to renege on the bet. That first night is an eye opener because he realizes he liked not always having to be thinking, to be monitoring, to be in control every minute of a scene. But afterwards ???
Cyana is a caring, talented Domme who has feelings for Aiden. The question is: can Aiden allow her to show him that being submissive means that he has the power he craves? Their friends, of course, cannot help but interfere. This book is funny, warm, steamy, hot, and a joy to read.

Sadly this is the last book in this series. I have been loving all of them as I normally don't (unfortunately) read a lot of BDSM/older couple books. This is Aiden and Cyana's story and it is an interesting one. Cyana is a strong, dominant woman who you can't help but love. She is a beautiful domme who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. Aiden is the joker of the group. He's also a dom but feeling very unsettled and unsatisfied lately. That is until a bet that changes everything.
My heart went out to Cyana. She knew what she wanted and tried to grab it while she could. If only Aiden's head would stop getting in the way. That man was so very back and forth that he really irritated me until he finally decided what he wanted. It just took one simple word, love, to make him realize what he truly wanted. From that moment I was completely invested. Don't get me wrong, I liked the beginning but Aiden was just to back and forth. It was kind of annoying.
I'm so happy they are all finally paired up. Not only that but this book reminds me that we can still keep our quirks and find love no matter how old we are. Love it!

What happens when a Dom and a Domme make a bet? Well, there has to be one of them who loses, right? And that happens to be Aiden. LOL He must now submit to Cyana for one night and while his mind can't understand submitting because he IS a Dom, he's wanted Cyana for awhile now. If this is the only way to have her, he'll go for it. Both have been attracted to each other for awhile and haven't acted on it. What follows is some soul searching for both of them. I loved their connection and enjoyed watching the struggle of Aiden as he really has to reach deep within himself to understand why he wants to submit to her. You can feel the love they have for each other and the emotional roller coaster they go through. Well written and a book I couldn't put down, this will take the reader on a journey.

Couldn't get into this one - not sure if it was just the characters, the subject matter or the slowness of the story. While I am glad to see that the attraction Cyana and Aiden have been circling around is finally fulfilled, their story was just flat.

I really enjoyed this story. The biggest reason, I think, is that Cyana and Aiden are my age. It's always nice to read books about characters that are my age, because I feel so connected to the characters on a level I don't always get.
I thought that Cyana was very realistic and pragmatic. She saw things in ways that Aiden didn't and I think that she saw them clearest. I kinda wanted to smack Aiden on her behalf more than once.
I mostly liked Aiden. There were times that I thought he skirted closely to some toxic lines, but they did make him a more believable character, so there's that.

The last book in the series. I am sad to see this series ending since I enjoyed the story about older couples.
The story focuses on the last two friends and it is a journey about change and making decisions that might be scary but will bring a lot of joy. It is about finding out new things about yourself even when you are in your fifties.
A wonderful and steamy ending of this series.

I love what the author did here with Cyana and Aiden. Both are dominants so how can he submit to her? Well, he does it and it's glorious and I swear I didn't blink the whole time reading. I held my breath while simultaneously combusting at their chemistry.

So often we read stories of Doms starting relationships with women who have no history as a submissive but rarely do we get a story where a Dom, through changing life circumstances finds himself no longer loving the Dom life and trying the submissive side. I really enjoyed this story. I loved getting inside Aiden's head and being with him as he sorts out just what he wants from his life and how that aligns with how he (and others) view him. I loved the seesawing of his thoughts and felt that it added a realism to the story. I liked Cyana and the care that she took with Aiden, even when she was hurt by him. It did seem to be a very simplistic, easily fixed view of the change that would be inherent in moving from Dom to sub, but this is romantic fiction and we don't want to wait too long for our HEA.

Out of the three books, I was most looking forward to this one. Cyanna has been one of my favorite characters in the entire trilogy. She’s sassy and fierce. She’s loyal, but you better not mess with her or anybody that she loves. She’s not a softie at all. That’s all I’m going to say about her.
All three books in this trilogy are very short and sweet. They pack a lot of information and humor in the short pieces. I am probably explaining this really badly. But I promise all three books are worth the read. This one just happens to be my favorite of the three.

The author did a great job of exploring the emotional struggle when a Dom/me decides they want to switch, or even fully embrace submission with a particular partner. It underscores how fluid/unique the D/s orientation can be, depending on the relationship, and how priorities and needs change. The story also did a good job of showing how, as in any community, not just the BDSM one, preconceptions and judgment need to be set aside in favor of respecting what the people in the relationship want and need to be happy.
In this case, it was the male Dom who faced that struggle. It took a little while for the book to focus in on the two main protagonists enough for the emotional investment to kick in, but once it was there, I was going back to it each night for my bedtime reading!

Sadly, this is the last book in the Dangeons and Doms series.
This hilarious, sweet story tells the story of Aidden and Cyana.
After losing a bet, Aidan who perceives himself as a Dom, agrees to submit for one night to Cyana, who is a Domme. Both of them are aware that there was always something between them, but because their kinks do not mesh, they never thought anything can come out of it. Unfortunately the night they spend together plays havoc with Aidan's mind, as he can't come to terms that he loved submitting to Cyana, and their friendship takes a hit. This book is so much fun! I got a kick out of the introduction to the new kinky resort, which according to Golden Angel will star in her future books. I loved Aiden's character, his conflicted feelings were described in a very believable way and I was able to understand the reasons for him messing up his relationship with Cyana. It was great revisiting the coupels from the previous books in the series and even Mitch and Domi from Bondage Buddies make a cameo visit.

This was the final book in the Dungeons and Doms boxset and I have to say I think it might have been my fave.
Aiden and Sienna were both dominants we got to know through the other two books in the series or so we thought. A bet in which Aiden lost saw him submitting to Sienna and this is where this story begins.
We moved through the "I can't just change in preference" to "maybe it's just Sienna who I want to submit to" and even the "the whole of the Outlands knows me as a Dom and I can't be on my knees for another dominant"
From Sienna's perspective it was easy. She had always had feelings for Aiden but the choice really lay with him.. she was not going to dominate him if he wasn't sure that's what he wanted and boy did he struggle to make this decision.
I think a few of the scenes in this book was extremely hot and quite frankly bordered on infiltrating my mind to the point it's going to hard to move on from them but wow!
I am not going to spoil the ending but this book was just fantastic

I have read all of the 'Dungeons and Doms' books and I have been awaiting Aiden's story since the very first one. I could tell he had a thing for Cyana and I couldn't wait to see what would happen between them. They were both Doms (Domme) and neither one seemed like they could change that aspect of their life in order for them to be together. They made a bet and Aiden lost so he had to submit to Cyana for one night. He ended up really enjoying it but wasn't sure if he could be an actual sub. His opposing feelings got in the way of their relationship a lot before they finally found a way around all the complications. This book was awesome and sooo steamy. It was the first book I've read with a Domme as the main character and I was actually surprise I enjoyed it so much. Definitely a recommended read to anyone who loves reading kinky, steamy stories with characters that are easy to fall in love with. I received review copy of this story and am leaving a voluntary honest review.

This is the third book in this impressive series and is Aiden and Cyana’s story. These two are both Dom’s and Cyana is strong and caring and knows what she wants out of life and goes after it, where Aiden has been feeling unsettles and unsatisfied lately, and when these two make a bet which Aiden loses, and he is feeling wary as he must submit to Cyana for one night. Those night changes everything and Cyana is hurt when Aiden goes out of his way to avoid her, and with their mutual friends getting married at a Hideaway Resort, he cannot avoid her, especially when they must share a suite. This is a well written fast paced story, which is entertaining, and with meddling friends, intrigue, turmoil, tension, emotions, and love, which all leads to a riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

'Dungeon Showdown' is book three of Golden Angel's "Dungeons and Doms" series and this one is not to be missed. If ever there was an author who could bring the human, vulnerable side of a Dom out, it's this author. Both Aiden and Cyana have long been two of my favorites in her BDSM world and this storyline just added a decadent frosting to an already luscious kinky cake. Was I surprised? Hell yeah, I was. I didn't see any of that coming. But there's a quote from the book I now have posted for my own personal use. Truer words have never been typed.

This is a fun story with an underlying important message. Cyana won a bet and Aiden has to submit for one day and he is surprised by his reaction. I don’t normally like stories about dommes, they do nothing for me, but this was about more than that. Aiden does a lot of self reflection and he comes to the conclusion that it is his pride that is stopping him from fully submitting. The relationship is up and down and Aiden realises he is not hearing what his friends are really saying but rather that he is hearing what he thinks they are saying. Once he understands his own reactions he is able to let go and enter fully into the relationship.

I have been going between super exited about this since I picked up Dungeon Master to not sure I would read it but let me explain why. I usually steer clear of any book between a Dom and Domme. A lot of times it ends up feeling repetitive and I end up skimming but that was so not the case with Aiden and Cyana. While there is still the back and forth you’d expect, this author shows Aiden and Cyana’s vulnerabilities as well as their strengths. Ms. Angel writes this perfect amount of real life to fictional and I absolutely adore it. Now I’m ready for that new resort…….

A wonderful capstone book of the Dungeons and Doms series. Cyana and Aiden, longtime friends and dominants, go head to head after years of friendship. A losing bet brings submission where attraction and friendship come to a head. It leads to a night that not only brings submission, but has Aiden dealing with revelations about himself with long-term consequences. A long friendship has their lives intertwined and that means avoidance is not entirely possible. A wonderful story to end the series.
