Book Three in the Cascade Brides series. The Three Sisters Mountains are part of the Cascade Mountain Range near the town of Sisters, Oregon. The peaks were named Faith, Hope, and Charity by early settlers. In Oregon Cascade Brides, three estranged siblings named for the mountains, each in the far-flung reaches of the state, are drawn back to their childhood home by men who ultimately make the sisters realize what they have in each other. Christian romance. (See Book Rock and a Hard Place, and Book Bayward Heart) In Project Love (Book Three) barista Charity Conrad enjoys her adoring customers and the caffeine that keeps her personality perking. Next to her job, she stays involved in good causes and can rarely say no to community involvement. So when coffee shop patron Daniel Tabor begins coming in to her shop, she makes it her personal goal to get the handsome but taciturn man to smile. But Daniel resists becoming just another 'project' and instead challenges Charity to take a risk not only with him--but with her sisters.
I loved the conclusion to this delightful trilogy. I was very pleased with how it all turned out, even though I am wishing for more books! (Would love to see the roommate get her own book!) Charity took a moment to warm up to, but then I just adored her, and enjoyed watching her learn and grow. Daniel was a great match, his character was just perfectly done. I feel very sad that I finished this series. I just love these sisters that much! I ached for them, rolled my eyes at them, cheered for them, and I feel like they are my long lost sisters. Well done, Bonnie Blythe. :)
Cute book. Characters were given depth that added to the book. I had not read the two books prior to this one, but it did not leave me out of the loop. This does work well as a stand alone book.
Glad I read in sequence. This was an interesting ending for a great series. Love how the men encouraged the women to reunite with their sisters. All the men had sweet personalities and promising futures that included God.
Kindle freebie. I was hoping for a fun read while in the hospital... Instead I got shoved with this. Boring. No character development. A really lame plot. And even the hero is unlikable in that he barely knows her, falls in love with her after begging her to go to church twice. Seriously, he doesnt ever take her out. he asks her to church constantly and then they actually have the "are we boyfriend/girlfriend talk" and he asks If he can kiss her. every time. they are in their mid twenties. its just weird. And the Christian ideas and themes are shoved down your throat. I'm a Christian...but come on. So part of me feels bad giving it a low star because Maybe someone who wants the hero praying silently on Every page will love it. I just didn't. And am still mad I actually kept reading.
Loved it! Such a great ending to the series and perhaps loved this one the best out of all 3! Definitely on my recommendation list. Cute sweet sappy and charming.
