I found the stories in this book to be interesting and well-written. I did not detect a common theme to the stories other than being eerie and unexplained.
Also I did not doubt the authenticity of the stories. I Googled several of them and found corresponding articles and photographs. Whether or not you believe in the paranormal, alien visitation, reincarnation or whatever, the stories are interesting reading.
A well-put-together book of short accounts of weird happenings. Not all about ghosts, but a wide selection ranging from typical hauntings to "special" people. These stories make a great jumping off point to research more about any of the accounts that piques your interest. Whether you have a 10 minute bus ride or a half hour lunch break you'll find something here to occupy your downtime.
This book was excellent. I couldn't put it down. I read most of the stories on my way to work. Each tale kept me guessing and questioning if these stories were crafted by a fiction writer. If you're a mystery fan or just have a curious mind, please purchase this book.
One thing that impressed me about this book was how well it was written. No typos, misspelled words, or poor grammar...which can be very annoying and detract from the story line. The book contains interesting facts, creepy tales, and unsolved mysteries. I really enjoyed it.
