So fucking good!! I loved the idea of having three groups and you don't know who the fuck you should cheer for! MY NERVES CAN'T HANDLE THE TENSION. Asari Endou did it again with the weird magical abilities and how they are used in combat. I was especially impressed with postarie.

I can't tell you how glad I am to see Ripple. That simple scene of her just giggling got me crying because I'm a weak bitch who likes soft ripple!! Got me fucked up.

The only thing that I didn't like was how inconsistent Frederica's character was, and how he wrote Pukin, the writer just told and didn't show.

This volume starts a new arc, which sees three separate groups of magical girls trapped in the city and pitted against each other. We also get to see quite a lot more of the magical world and its workings, with several major characters being from that world. Most of the new characters are likable, although Kuru-Kuru Hime's group is mostly fairly dull. A familiar character also returns to the cast, and this arc does a better job than the second of integrating the story that came before it.

As usual, the translation's prose is fairly simple and nothing particularly special, and some characters are better-developed than others. It also reuses the deceptive mascot concept already featured in the first arc, which might seem a bit overly familiar. Still, the series remains a fun, quick read.

Start of a new arc and diving deeper into the world building of the Magical Kingdom of MGRP. Loving the new characters and powers. Of course, since it's the first in arc, it's a cliffhanger, but I love the ending.
