3 parts, 4h each. I can do it right? New year resolutions anyone?
THE GOOD
-British English speaker, rather than American + Native speaker
-Method of using what you know in English to remember Italian
-Method to force listener to RECALL, this is not new, especially not in language teaching audiobooks, but this is indeed the way to memorise
-No stress oriented learning, but to be honest I feel that this would be to be listened to several times to be fully efficient
-Free - from my public library (although the booklet was not included, which is annoying)
THE BAD
-Boring. Not really its fault to be honest but the whole thing is quite dry.
-Fully orientated at people who want to learn a few bits to be able to go on holidays. I know this is the common way to approach beginner level language course but still
-Same critic as his Essential Spanish in 2h that he speaks so terribly slowly in English, which makes me want to speed it up to x1,25 or 1,5 but then avoid to do so because I want to hear the Target Language speaker well.
After a couple hours my interest was decreasing already and I am currently struggling to get through the 4 little hours of the part 2... I thought I could have cruised through the whole 3 parts in a fortnight but it's been a month ans I am still hardly halfway through. to be continued.

I am typically a visual learner, but some things - such as languages - need to be heard. I found the structure of this very helpful and will be revisiting this series again prior to my trip in September.
