Meaning while fasting
Excellent devotional to help you draw closer to God. It reminds you the purpose of fasting. It hoped me grow in grace by identifying prayer focus using HSPE acronyms. It added power to my fasting.

Fast Like Daniel
This was an amazing devotional to read while doing my 21 day Daniel Fast. I took so much from this devotional. I know to humble myself, pray specifically & precisely, & have expectations that God will breakthrough. I shared this devotional with family & friends & we completed the fast together. I would recommend this to anyone is planning a fast or just wants to deepen their relationship with Christ.

Fasting is such a blessing. Initially came across the 21 day Bible devotional Williams has on the YouVersion Bible App. The book is awesome as well!

This was the perfect devotional to read during my 21 Day Daniel Fast. There were so many stories that were relatable, as well as bible references. This book shed light on just how important it is to fast and pray. There were guides and prayers to help you pray humble, specific and expectant prayers. The thing I loved most were the questions at the end of each chapter that really got my mind going.

Essential for first time faster
I honestly don't know if I could've made it through my first time fasting for 21 days as well as I did without this book. Perfect to read alongside my Bible, with highlighters in hand. Highly recommend.

Truly humbled with a new outlook on fasting and Prayer.
I had started the fasting plan on the You Version bible app several months ago and lacked the motivation to even work myself up to one day of Fasting like Daniel. Months of trials and discouragement had passed and I looked at the plan everyday not stepping out the boat. Then something amazing happened. I felt in my spirit it was time to fast. God not only blessed me with the devotional on You Version, he lead me to dive deeper with the boom to match, and it was accessible through my kindle unlimited subscription! To God be the Glory! I can not wait to share my breakthroughs I have received this far and moving forward in the next days, weeks, months to come!I couldn’t do this on my own. If you are looking for content to encourage you and guide you, I highly recommend you read this book. Step out the boat in faith and trust God. My prayers to everyone seeking the face of God, deliverance and breakthrough in their lives. God Continue to use this Man of God Scott Williams to do your work. We expect your mighty hand to move in the matchless name of Jesus. Amen!

The Fast Like Daniel devotional prayer guide is truly God breathed. The daily devotions, bible readings, exhortations, journaling guides and especially the prayers are an excellent source of motivation to be persistent in fasting.
I love how it is written simple and ease to read and understand with practical examples and tips to truly connect with God during your 21 days of fasting.

Ask God to examine your heart and be willing to face the tough answers. You must be willing to be patient, gentle, kind, loving, joyful, self-control, peaceful and CORRECTING YOURSELF - After discovering something distracting and toxic (narcissism and manipulation) about myself. I battled to forgive myself. I kept on blaming the nature of my job ( Sales Person) but realized that enough is enough. God has done something in my heart and I need to forgive myself. Thank you for Mr. Williams. This is Not the End It's The Beggining.

This is a must-have book, no matter where you are in your Christian walk. The book is thought provoking and insightful. From my personal experience, I have learned plenty and received great revelations from the Holy Spirit, during this time. I even gave my life back to Christ during my Daniel Fast. This book does not disappoint. It will help you to stay rooted and go deeper as you fast and pray like Daniel.

This book was amazing it connected so many Bible stories I heard as kid in a way that helped me truly understand and learn how to pray effectively. It helped my grow and will help me continue to grow my relationship with God. I did follow the 21 day diet and I did see my prayers answered while reading this book. If you’re searching for connection, try this devotional. You won’t be disappointed.

INSPIRING!
This fast companion helped me to grow in intimacy with the Lord and I had my faith strengthened and my level of expectations raised. This is only for those that really want to live the best in their lives. This is for making room for God to be King. I am convinced I want the Fast like Daniel principles as a lifestyle.

Its not about the food
What an amazing journey. What an excellent read and daily companion to my Daniel Fast experience. It took the focus off what I had given up and helped me focus on coming out of the fast a better version of myself. I feel so light and free. God is so good!!

Wonderful book of encouragement
I enjoyed this book its full of encouragement and it a wonderful teaching tool for daily prayer. I think this book is a wonderful piece to have along side your 21 day fast. I recommend it to everyone who needs a boost of encouragement in their walk with Christ Jesus.

This book really helped me draw closer to God during my Daniel Fast. I loved daily devotionals and journal prompts. They helped me to focus fully on God and listen for His voice. The fasting tips also helped me power through the fast.

Awesome read
I have fasted before but not like this. This book has really helped me. I have seen some things come to pass while fasting and reading. There were also some confirmations of things. This book was just awesome!

Best Daniel Fast book!
I read several books during my first Daniel fast and this one was the best. I loved the daily devotions, scripture, guided prayer, and fasting tips. I Combined it with the matching devotional in the you version bible app.

TRY IT FOR. YOURSELF
Fast Like Daniel is a great guide that may assist you in your fast. This is a challenge that my prayer group asked us to do to start off 2024. The book walks you through what the "fast" is and is not. All that I can say is try it for yourself.
