Written and published long before the world heard of Jeffrey Epstein and his island, this story provides a fictional lens into the world of the rich, entitled and perverse. This complex psychological murder mystery thriller packs enough twists and turns to build a country lane. Sam Butcheart has just received a pardon, so he can finally tell the attractive reporter his story. The same story the elites tried to suppress. The same story a hundred highly respected journalists would have killed fore. What were the millionaires and billionaires doing in that exclusive Grove establishment? Who were all the children floating down the river in white clothing?
This is the first book in a long time that I could not put down. The writing flowed so wonderfully and the story kept pulling me in. Definitely a must read in my opinion.
"Who Writes the Scripts" has a surprise ending. I never saw the revelations made in the last chapters coming at all. Parts of this book were a little uncomfortable to read for me, but they were relevant to the story. It really drew me in.
I won this book in a giveaway so I want to say thank you to Goodreads for introducing me to a book I probably wouldn't have found otherwise.
