I’ve known about anxious attachment for a long time, but I guess I needed to hear someone call me out on what it actually looks like in real life when you’re at a low point. I listened to this on audiobook and while I didn’t magically heal by the end, it genuinely shifted something in me. It pushed me to sit down, journal, and take real accountability for the ways my own fears and insecurities have made situations bigger and more self-centered than they needed to be.
What I appreciated most was the reminder that healing isn’t a one-and-done moment. It’s a continual practice. This book didn’t fix everything but it gave me clarity, language and direction, and that made it absolutely worth the listen.
