This was my first book by this author and I think it will be my last. My first reaction after reading this one was something like this
The story fallows Kika, a 30+ woman who’s in Vegas to meet her twin sister. She still blames herself for her brother’s death so when in a local bar she meets Ryan, a man who mistakes her for a prostitute she thinks “Why not?”. After all she has some unrealized sexual fantasies and that way she can forget about her past...right? Rightttt…*rolling eyes*
Ryan is in Vegas to stop his sister wedding since he suspects her soon to be husband is the head of a prostitution ring. Ryan not only thinks Kika is a hooker, he thinks she’s her twin sister, Luna, who works for his future brother in law in his casino.
As they start to spend some time together (only fucking), they secrets start to come out, they solve the mystery and of course they fall for each other.
I’m always reluctant to try a new author, but as always I said to myself – Why the hell not? After all the premise was interesting enough. While the premise was ok, the plot (if I can call that a plot) was really, really lame. Frankly, I’m not sure I can’t say there’s actually a plot
I can’t believe I say this, but the story has too many sex scenes for my liking. Really now...they f*ck like rabbits. Needless to say the plot was undeveloped. And what I got bored me to death.
As for all their problems with their siblings
Ryan and Kika were ok enough as MC, but I didn’t feel any chemistry or connection between them. None. And let’s not forget they fall for each in a couple of days and...and...Kika is ready to move from US to Australia for him, in the end Ryan is the one who is ready to sacrifice everything and move in NY City.
And the mystery was so lame and ridiculous and I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Everything was so rushed and convenient...Gah!
My 2 stars are for the writing and for the decent steam factor.

Wow, what a fast paced story, loved the elements of steamy romance, intrigue and mystery makes for a book that you will not be able to put down.
Ryan and Kika both are trying to protect the ones that they love. Ryan picks Kika up at the bar in Vegas, thinking Kika is a hooker. Ryan is going to use Kika to bring down a prostitution ring, she plays along for a large sum of money. Bringing down the prostitution bring in more danger to all of them.

Carmen has done it again!! I could not read this book fast enough. My attention was hooked on this story from the first page and I could not wait to see how it all ended for Kika and Ryan.
Kika is still distraught over her brother's death years later and blames herself for what happened to him. Kika feels like she deserted her brother when he needed him most and she does not want to do the same with her sister, but soon realizes that her sister has bigger issues that they need to resolve.
Ryan is an Australian in the states to attend his sister's wedding but he has been told that her soon to be husband is involved in a prostitution ring at his hotel and Ryan is determined to expose him. Ryan cares for his sister and does not want her to marry into a mess. He never expects to fall in love with someone so unexpected.
Kika and Ryan have a connection from the very beginning and you can almost feel their emotions for each other through Carmen's work. This story was written so well that I felt I was part of the story. I love that this story has a HEA and that both Ryan and Kika are willing to give up everything for true love and follow their dreams of being together. I would love to know what becomes of them in another book!!!! Thanks Carmen for a great read!!!

When I heard Carmen Falcone had a new book out, I literally dropped everything to read it. I even ignored my massive tbr list just to dive into this book. No joke! Accidentally Hooked is such an entertaining read that will hook you from the very beginning. For me, I was hooked just on the cover, but the characters and the storyline keep you turning the pages. If you've ever read from this author, then you know what a talented writer she is. If you haven't read anything from her, let me tell you what you can expect. You can expect to read a book that is well-written, well-developed, and completely engaging.
One woman's fantasy gets taken to a whole another level. Accidentally Hooked blew my expectations out the water. It was even better than I imagined. The characters are both endearing in their own way. Both will do anything...and I mean anything to protect their family. I absolutely adored Kika and Ryan together and you will too. Definitely a must read!

I loved everything about this book from beginning to end!! It had everything a Carmen Falcone book has to offer and more, it was edgy, sexy and very steamy. Ryan and Kika are both out to protect the people they love and do whatever it takes to do it. They both saved each other along the way and I loved that about this story. Thank you Carmen, for another awesome read!!!

Once again Carmen Falcone has written a story with three-dimensional characters and a great hook (pun intended).
The story of Ryan and Kika is definitely hot, complicated and intense-- everything I have to come expect from Ms. Falcone. And again I'm truly impressed. She manages to create these characters and they're immediately real to me as I read the pages they come to life.
Kika is riddled by guilt and family loyalty when she meets Ryan, who in turn is protecting his family. The parallel lines between the two is quite interesting. Both are broken, trying to fix themselves and feel whole again.
Ryan is now my favorite Falcone hero. He is so charming and sexy! I definitely recommend this book.

Kika continues to grieve the death of her brother and the part that she feels she played in it. She walked away when he needed her. Not wanting to allow this to happen to her and her sister’s relationship, Kika is waiting to spend time with her sister in a local bar. Little does she know what her sister is dealing with in her life. Ryan is in town for his sister’s wedding and is doing a little detective work of his own. He believes that his sister’s fiancé is actually the head of a prostitution ring. When Ryan sees Kika he mistakenly believes her to be his way into discovering more about the ring. Kika figures it is a once in a lifetime chance to live the fantasy she always dreamed about. Sex with a stranger. Their chemistry is instantaneous and their connection is more than just one night can handle. With family secrets, suspense and of course, romance thrown together you cannot help but love this story. I thought the characters were amazing and I loved the twists and turns of the story. This was so well written and it unfolded in way that kept me hooked from the very beginning. I would love to read more from this author.

The author has given the readers a story as seen from both sides, through the ups and downs, secrets, danger and finally ...... Well I don't give spoilers but what I do give is a recommendation to anyone who loves a good story with terrific characters and did I already mention the mind blowing sex?

I don't usually read "smut" books as Carmen put it but I enjoyed this book very much! I got an ARC of this book and it didn't take me long to read it because I couldn't put it down! This is the first book I have read of Carmen's and certainly will not be the last! It is written well with plenty of detail and it really lets you connect with the characters and love them! If you haven't read it you should! :-)

This was my first Carmen Falcone read and I have to say I am Hooked on her fast paced writing style, hot and steamy scenes and edgy in your face story!! Kika and Ryan's story was hot, she had something in her mind that was so out of character for her but tried it anyway and I love that!! Thank you Carmen for an awesome advanced copy of this book! I will definitely recommend it to my friends!

I really liked this book Kika was kick** and Ryan was just adorable in a rugged way, "are you hungry?” He rose to his feet and smoothed his hand over his dark jeans. Hungry? Did he expect her to— “I’m talking about food.” His lips broken into a disarming smile, and she curled her toes." This wasn't only a romance but it had a bit of mystery to it as well.

Amazing book. I loved it. The way the story kept you hooked to keep reading it was awesome. I seriously couldn't out it down. I liked how Ryan was playing amateur detective and Kika was pretending to be a hooker. Loved how they helped each other work everything out. Thank you for such a good read.

Totally hooked chica
OH.MY.GOODNESS. That's all I have to say. Lol Carmen Falcone you put me in the pedestal with this book. There's romance, steamy bed scenes, drama, suspense and action. Why this could be a movie! :) a must see one!!!!
I like the concept of this book- something new and exciting! The characters were well described and lines very well made. I love how the steamy scenes were elaborated, gave me a very vivid pictures. Both Ryan and Kika will do all for their families. Both strong and determined yet soft hearted. Both have past they wanted to moved on from. Time and destiny hooked them together to help each other sort out their lives. I fell in love automatically with both characters.
The story was great just that I was a bit left wanting and needy at the end. I want more of Ryan and Kika. How things will go to after Vegas? Them together in Australia maybe? I started making up possibilities of what will happen next in my crazy head! Haha oh now, I wanted more. :))

This book reminded me so much of the movie “Pretty Woman”, with a twist. It was very sexy and steamy, and it had lots of suspense. Kika and Ryan are out to protect their beloved siblings; Ryan will go as far as hiring a hooker to protect his! Kika, originally was just hoping to spend time with her sister. So when a HOT Australian mistakes her for a hooker she thinks, “Why the hell not? That’s one more off the bucket list!” When Kika understands the real reason why Ryan thinks she is a hooker, she does what she thinks is right and will do anything to protect her loved one. As they both work together to make things right, the sizzling chemistry gets stronger. I loved reading this book and I love how they saved each other in more ways than they both would have believed possible.

Kika has a fantasy she wants to reenact. She finds the perfect opportunity while visiting her twin sister( Luna) in Vegas. after the event she finds her sister has been in a similar situation, only things had taken a drastic turn for Luna one night leaving kika in a sticky situation.
Ryan's sister is set to marry a man Ryan doesn't deem fit. He has been handed some information that puts Blake in a bad lite. to protect his sister ryan runs with it leading him to kika.
??How far are they prepared to go to protect thoes they love??

Loved it!! Super sexy with a hint of mystery and intrigue. I really enjoy the international flair Carmen Falcone brings to her books. In this one Kika and Ryan meet in a bar. He mistakes her for a hooker and she plays along. It's not every day you get to play out one of your sexual fantasies. She has no idea he is trying to get info on an illegal prostitution ring. Neither could have predicted the incredible chemistry they would have. You will definitely want to read this one, I highly recommend it!

Great Book!
This is a great book; this is the first book in The Naked Truth series by Carmen Falcone. Kika is stood up by her twin sister, when a sexy stranger Ryan approaches her in the bar; he mistakes her for a prostitute. Kika realizes that she has the opportunity for her fantasies to come true with this stranger. This book is very steamy and has some suspense, it is very entertaining. I am looking forward to the next book in this series.

Kika Martinez is just waiting in a Vegas bar to meet her sister for a quiet drink and a chance to remember the brother they lost when a really hot stranger sits and propositions her. It doesn’t take long for her to figure out that he thinks she’s a hooker. She’s never taken money for sex before, but he is one really hot Aussie and playing the sex for hire role has always been one of her secret fantasies, so she takes him up on the offer.
Ryan Winter wasn’t really looking for sex, he was looking for answers, trying to get the dirt on his future brother in law in time to save his sister from making a huge mistake. He’s in Vegas for their wedding and he doesn’t have much time but been watching this particular waitress and a few others at the casino his sister’s intended owns and he’s pretty sure they’re running a prostitution ring out of the hotel. If Blake Spot is the mastermind behind this operation, he’s definitely not the kind of man he wants his sister Charlotte married to, so he decides to pick the girl up in an attempt to see if he can get enough information from her to prove his suspicions.
Accidentally Hooked is a hot and steamy suspense thriller based on an initial case of mistaken identity. Kika may not be a hooker but Blake’s hotel certainly has its fair share of them Kika and Ryan team up to sort out exactly what’s going on before Charlotte makes what could be the mistake of her life. Meanwhile, Kika may not be a hooker, but she’s definitely a talented practitioner and, for the reformed alcoholic, she just might be an addiction he can’t easily kick.
If you like your suspense stories a little bit hot or your romances filled with mystery, you will LOVE Accidentally Hooked.

This was a sizzling read that starts off hot and stays that way right until the end! When a case of mistaken identity brings Ryan and Kiki together, what starts as a business arrangement quickly proves to be so much more!
Both Kiki and Ryan are in Vegas trying to make amends for the past. Ryan is determined to keep his sister from marrying a man who may be involved in illegal activities, and Kiki has returned to Vegas to try and rebuild her relationship with her twin sister. As Ryan and Kiki spend time together and their secrets start to come out, both will have to decide if they are willing to take a chance and trust each other – especially when Ryan’s mission to uncover the prostitution ring may put Kiki and her sister behind bars.
This was a quick read that has a lot happening on every page. There is tons of steam and heat between Ryan and Kiki, but there are also some real moments between the characters as they begin to realize that what is a business arrangement is really so much more. Kiki and Ryan are both a bit broken from events in their past, and it was nice to see them slowly reveal some of their scars to one another. The mystery and reveal about the prostitution ring tied up the story nicely, and although we didn’t get to spend too much time with secondary characters, their time in the book added to the storyline.
Another fun read from Carmen Falcone, with a lot of heat and a whole lot of Vegas fun! A great addition to anyone’s TBR list!

This is the first book I've read by Carmen Falcone. I didn't know what to expect by just reading the synopsis, but I really enjoyed this book. A very sexy and lustful book with just a hint of danger.
Falcone starts the story with Kika. Her character is described as very independent, confident, but a loner....somewhat of a nomad in her own way, never calling anywhere home. The author has a great way of explaining how she became so withdrawn from others, and that Falcone doesn't just layout Kika's entire past. She makes you feel compassion for Kika, wanting her to open up and reveal just what happened in her past. And then there's Ryan....oh the sweet, irresistible, sexy and gorgeous Australian that can melt your unmentionables with one look! Whoa....I want to move to Australia to find my own man down under! :) Ryan is more open, but has his own issues as well. All I kept thinking about was how Kika was going to explain her situation to Ryan when he finds out who she really is. He has his own problems, trying to protect his sister, does he care for Kika enough to help her and her sister as well?
I'm anxious to read the second book in Falcone's The Naked Truth series. I'm hoping the author with keep the main characters from this book in the next one. I would have given this book 5 stars, but somewhere in the middle it seemed to drag on a little bit, and the ending was too abrupt. It was a fast read, so it was easy to look past. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a fast read, with steamy love scenes, illegal activities, and a HEA!

Accidentally Hooked drained the battery of my kindle. Carmen once again delivers a hot and steamy novel. This is a must read if you love a hot, sexy, steamy, DID I MENTION HOT romance! It is everything you want in a romance book. The characters Kika and Ryan were absolutely exciting to read about. I loved that Ryan was a hot Aussie. I have had a crush on Alex O’Loughlin for a while now and that’s who I pictured Ryan as. The chemistry between Kika and Ryan was phenomenal.
This book kept me turning the pages. It contained several twists and the sex scenes could have blew up my kindle -- fanning self!

This book was on Fire. As they say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Ryan goes to Vegas for his sisters wedding and knows that his new soon to be brother in law is up to no good. Trying to figure out this charade of a prostitution ring in his hotel he is determined to get to the bottom of it and save his sister from marrying a creep. upon checking in he noticed a few things and one that catches his eye is Kika Martinez. Kika has decided to take over her twin sisters spot at the hotel because she has been roughed up a bit. When approached by Ryan she couldn't believe that he thought she was an actual hooker, but boy she was ready to play the part. after all you can be anyone you want to be in Vegas. Can Ryan save his sister from making the biggest mistake of her life? Will Kika and Ryan be able to put things behind them and have a real relationship. Be sure to pick up this book and find out.
