A THINKING PERSON'S GUIDE TO PRO BASKETBALL
There is more to pro basketball than simply two teams running up and down a court trading baskets. There is artistry. There is grace. There are complex strategies. And, between the players and fans, there is a unique bond. As author Dave Klein explains...

"I am hopelessly out of shape. I probably weigh more than Alan Page, though I won't admit it. In my heart, however, I'm a basketball player. I watch a game and find my body moving with a shot, or I find myself twisting in my chair when the ball hangs in the air while towering rebounders tense and stretch for it.

"I'd like to say I was a great basketball player, but I wasn't. Most of the basketball fans in this country weren't, either, which is why they're fans. They appreciate - deep inside, they envy - that which they wished to be able to do."

This is a book of love about pro basketball. After reading it, you too will appreciate the subtleties, the suspense, the ballet of the sport. You will share Dave Klein's love for The Pro Game.
