Who knew a chipped tooth could lead to love?

Simon is ready for the real deal when it comes to relationships—unfortunately, his libido hasn’t gotten the message. After a string of disastrous hookups, he finds himself frustrated, annoyed, and missing part of a tooth.

Enter Dr. Jackson Allbrook.

Simon is pretty sure dentists aren’t supposed to be as good-looking as Jackson is. Though the recline of the exam chair is pretty convenient…

Things heat up quickly between the two of them, but Simon’s hesitant to believe he’s actually found his Mr. Right. Jackson’s never been with a man before, so what happens if he decides to go back to playing for the other team?

A standalone novella in the Forever Family Trilogy featuring a hotter-than-sin dentist experiencing a bi-awakening, a graphic designer who considers the term “easy” to be a compliment, a game night that gets a bit out of hand, and no piercings in fun places thankyouverymuch.

I can't get enough of low angst, high heat romances so EASY perfectly hit the spot for me. This fun and flirty novella paired the chaotic but loveable Simon with sexy dentist Jackson, who suddenly finds himself attracted to a man for the first time. Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved them together. Jackson was the strong and silent type until he gets to the bedroom and then he's the filthiest dirty talker and I loved every second of it!

I can't recommend EASY enough for readers who love age gaps, spanking, bisexual awakenings, friends who overshare, and awkward but enlightening meet cutes.

Ahhhh I just love everything this author writes. This one is just a sweet, sexy and steamy, fun romance, with plenty of heat and some humor and great characters and story packed in a quick read.

If you're a fan of
- Bi-awakening
- Age gap
- Size difference
- Possessive (but in a good way!) and a bit kinky
- Great chemistry
- Low angst
- The sweetest ending

Then you should give this one a try. Also a pretty easy stand-alone read, although I recommend reading the first book since that couple is friends with this one! This is a perfect book for when you just need a sweet romance to get away to for a bit, highly recommend basically everything Kiki writes!

I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a quick, easy novella. I really enjoyed Simon's whole personality. He's the kind of person I would be friends with and I feel like our game nights would be wild. And Jackson was such a breath of fresh air. I'm getting tired of the "straight guys" who freak out when they realize they have feelings for another man.

Boring. It's been done. We're over that now.

But Jackson was like "Oh hm, okay cool I'm gunna roll with this" and that was SO NICE. I kind of wish this was longer so that we got some kind of drama. So it lost a point for being too short, which is a me problem LOL. I also got so tired of "baby" being used a million times on the same page. So I feel like a few of those could be edited out before release.

But ultimately, this was a really great read and I enjoyed Simon and Jackson. And the ending was adorable as all hell.

Ever just start reading and get sucked in immediately into it? That is what happened with this one. I did not even realize I was that close to the end and then it was over.

Slight Spoilers ahead

Ok, so in here we have Simon, a young guy who has a voracious appetite for sex. For which he didn't feel any shame and that made me happy. One day, after getting his tooth broke after trying to give some soul stealing head, he meets Jackson, an older and freaking sexy dentist. One who happened to be straight until he met Simon. Technically this is a GFY story, but it read more like an instamate connection.

And yes, this is instalove and no angst and it was glorious. It also leans hard into Jackson being a Daddy, I just wish that it was truly a DaddyDom story.

Anyways, Simon has issues with his head not being clear enough sometimes and finds that spankings help, which Jackson was truly happy to help with. Jackson liked to research stuff, like how to have anal sex with men and about spanking and even aftercare. It was so sweet.

The only road blocks in this was Simon not being sure about Jackson actually wanting to be with a man. That was cleared up near the end and then it was smooth sailing.

I was not expecting to like this as much as I did, as I was not very happy about the first book. But I have to say that those mcs kind of redeemed themselves here.

I really hope we get a third book with Will and Samuel.

After reading Favor, I was eager to put my hands on Easy, but....
I thought the story would have been totally different, and with a different male character.
So it took me a bit to really enjoy the story. However Jacks, despite his serious apparence, made me fall for him 😍😍
And Simone, well... you have to love him because he is funny and confident. A brat basically 😂
Also, he shows us his vulnerability here. And it made me like him even more.
The bit of kink added spiciness to the story.
In the end it's another good book from Kiki Clark.

Easy is the second book in Kiki Clark’s Forever Family Trilogy. This one shifts focus to Simon, who is one of Jeremy’s friends from the first book, Favor. I think this story works well enough as a standalone; I did not really refresh my memories of book one and still loved book two. But apart from the opening scene where Jeremy plays a pivotal role as intimate confidant to whom Simon spills his guts, there are several cameos from Declan and Jeremy. Personally, I liked how these scenes build on the concept that Simon is part of a strong friend group/found family.

Our two main characters are spectacular in very different ways. Simon is out, loud, and proud. He dresses to accentuate his physical features and he exudes extreme confidence. I, like Jackson, really liked Simon’s unapologetic, sex positive attitude. Simon is also a person of color and some of his behaviors indicate he may be neurodivergent. The whole package was just appealing and I liked watching him fall hard for a guy who turned out to be his person.

Oh, beautiful Simon. What a delightful character he was. Bold and brash with this whole layer of vulnerability just beneath the surface. I adored him.

For me, the meet cute was one of the best aspects of this book. Jackson overhearing a personal conversation that Simon is having and then being so professional and easing Simon’s discomfort? I was all about it. These two were so wonderful together, not to mention hot. Jackson sure eases into his attraction to Simon beautifully and never looks back.

Both of these men are exploring something and both find exactly what they need. This was a great little novella in this series.

Simon is sick of the dating game when he schedules an appointment with dentist Dr. Jackson Allbrook to fix a tooth he chipped on his last hook-up’s… piercing.

Jackson always thought he was straight until he overhears his (very male) new patient describing to a friend in vivid detail exactly how he chipped his tooth.

The two quickly agree they need to get to know each other, and Jackson easily accepts his newfound attraction. Simon, on the other hand, is a little more wary, having been burned by “historically straight” men in the past.

This standalone novella was a super quick pick-me-up. Simon and Jackson have the perfect mix of comedy, swoon, heat 🥵, and a dash of possessiveness to spice things up.

I received an ARC Copy of this book, this review is from my own thought 😍

This book was so lovely, it was light, cute and sweet, I enjoyed every moment of it.

Simon is a force of nature, he's exuberant and at the same time insecure. Seeing his friends happy in their married life, Simon wishes to have the same relationship with someone and only has disappointing meetings or dates - until he embarrasses himself in front of his new sexy and hot dentist.

Jackson never thought he will fall for a man, but he's undeniably attracted to Simon, with patience and care he will show him that he can be here for him, love him and take care of him.

Easy to love

I'm having so much fun reading this series. The covers help by being so gorgeous but the men and their love and spice and so much more are what makes you stay and come back for more. This one is Simon and Jackson's story. We meet Simon in book 1 and I loved him and was so happy he got his own book. He wants a real relationship but he's having bad luck in the dating pool resulting in sad hook ups that aren't worth it and end up leaving him with a chipped tooth and humiliation. Until Jackson, a dentist he heard of from a friend and was able to get him in for an emergency appointment. Their first meeting is less than perfect as Jackson overhears him talking to his friend about his hook up that landed him in the dentist's office and the fact he can't be without sex for more than short periods of time. Jackson is hot and straight yet him hearing the things Simon was telling his friend affects him and doesn't leave his mind. He's never been attracted to a guy before but Simon is different and wakes up something in him so when Simon invites him to game night with his friends Jackson finds himself agreeing when he usually says no when any of the many female patients he has asks him out. Slowly they both start to realize that there's something real between them. But Simon is wary because Jackson has never been into a guy before and Jackson does have to adjust a bit but the way he feels for Simon is just natural and and and doesn't harp on it too much. He just wants to keep Simon but he also doesn't want to be just another hook up story Simon tells his friends so he suggests that they date and get to know each other before they become physical. Simon isn't too fond of this idea but they're so good together already that he agrees and they start to fall in love. But let me tell you when they do become intimate it is definitely worth the wait. Jackson definitely has game for a straight man as well as a filthy mouth that not only Simon appreciated but me as well. Their chemistry is hot, passionate and all consuming in and out of the bedroom and I loved them together no matter what they're doing. They communicated and took care of each other and grew together as a couple and it was so nice to read their love grow and strengthen. I hate saying goodbye but it seems like it may not be the last we see of this beautiful couple. If you like a gorgeous sassy boy looking for love and safety as well as all the spice and a sexy undercover possessive man who'd do anything for their man then read this book and have a blast!

***ARC Review***

This is my honest review for the ARC I received.

“Easy” by Kiki Clark is the second book in the Forever Family Trilogy. This age gap novella follows sex enthusiast Simon and the dentist who helps fix his tooth after an encounter with a certain piercing, Jackson. Simon is no stranger to sex. He needs it regularly. He’s vocal about it. And he isn’t ashamed of it. He has a dildo rack as well. Yes, you read that right. Jackson has never come across someone so zealous and confident about their sexual abilities. After overhearing a conversation between Simon and his best friend Jeremy, Jackson starts to wonder what it would be like to be on the receiving end of Simon’s oral skills.

The pair embark on a game night and tentative connection after their first meeting. Jackson doesn’t want to lead Simon on, convinced friendship is all he can give him, even though he’s started fantasizing about Simon sexually. Simon doesn’t want Jackson to feel obligated to see him in that way. He knows Jackson is straight. It’s not Jackson’s fault that Simon has an MO of falling for straight guys.

It turns out Jackson may not be as straight as he previously thought, or there’s just something about Simon that calls to him, because after getting jealous over another attendant at game night, Jackson is ALL about connecting with Simon in every way possible.

Jackson does his best to make sure Simon knows that he doesn’t just want him for sex. Simon may be easy, but Jackson wants him to stick around for the long haul. He wants to make sure they’ll be a good life for. The pair take their time getting to know one another (much to Simon’s chagrin), but when they finally give into more than kissing, their chemistry is explosive. These two are h-o-t, hot! They both unlock something inside the other that just skyrockets their desire.

Kiki does a great job with pacing and dialogue. It was great seeing Jeremy and Declan from “Favor.” Tracy and Samuel were great as well. There’s lots of heart in this book. I loved the vulnerability Simon had beneath the surface. There’s also humor in this book, and a good bit of heat as well. Kiki packs a lot of emotion into this novella. You can feel how much the MCs care for one another by the time they reach their HEA.

“Easy” is a quick and fun read with likable characters. Simon is a lovable main character and Jackson is endearing as they man who wants to take care of him. You should definitely read this book!

This review is for the eBook and the Audible versions.

I read this when it came out and I loved it then, so I jumped on the chance to listen to it narrated by one of my favorite narrators, Liam DiCosimo. I was not disappointed and loved it as much the second time around as I did the first.

Simon is Jeremy's best friend and we first meet him at the end of Favor, the first book in the series. He is cute, funny, and a bit chaotic. He's a talented digital artist and works freelance from home. After seeing Jeremy settle down with the love of his life, he wants that for himself but is struggling to get out of the meaningless hook-up cycle.

Simon is that friend whom everyone loves but also shakes their heads at because he gets himself into so many ridiculous situations. That is exactly how he meets Jackson, a dentist and the boss of Simon's friend, Tracey. When Simon ends up with a broken tooth after a hookup gone wrong, Jackson helps him out. Both are thrown by their immediate and intense attraction to each other, but Simon has been down that road before with straight guys, he is determined to keep Jackson in the friend zone. But despite his confusion over his own feelings, Jackson refuses to let Simon friend-zone him.

I loved this book and found myself laughing out loud several times. It's a short read/listen and I found the audiobook perfect for my recent short road trip. At a couple points, I will admit to being frustrated with Declan and Jeremy's behavior toward Simon, especially Declan's confrontation of Jackson. I understood where he was coming from, but the questions he asked Jackson, regardless of his intent, were invasive and none of his business. Tracey also crossed a major line discussing her boss's sexuality with her friend, who was a stranger to Jackson at the time. But that was my only complaint in the whole thing.

I loved the dynamic between Jackson and Simon and how Jackson gave Simon exactly what he needed without hesitation. Where the first book in the series was steamy toward the end, this book was a five alarm fire all the way through. Everything about their relationship was top tier and Simon is absolutely hilarious.

As for the audio version, as always, Liam DiCosimo did an excellent job. His voice is so easy to listen to and he really brings the story to life.

EASY spotlights elements that Kiki Clark does best: strong, confident, "alpha" characters and the quirky, "deeper than you think at first" Sunshines that unexpectedly comes into their lives, and the cast of funny, meddling, and loving secondary characters that constantly interfere and offer their opinions - wanted or not. Jackson and Simon have a hilarious, sexy "meet cute," and their story takes off from there. Jackson is older, and seems to have it all together, but meeting Simon makes him realize that there is "something more" out there for him. Simon at first, comes across as flighty 20-something that needs physical relationships to get by. But as the story progresses you see that Simon has more substance and his seemingly wanton behavior is due to the fact that he hasn't been able to find someone to trust to "see" him and understand what he needs, and Jackson finds that work is not everything and that family is not just the one you are born with, but one you find.
The only issue I have with this story is that there were no indications that Jackson ever had an attraction to men and while it understandable that his first meeting with Simon piqued his interest, the way he "jumps" right in and has no hesitations or qualms about meeting Simon's more unconventional needs seems rushed and unrealistic. While this was distracting, it did not take away from the charm of their relationship and I was still rooting for their HEA.
This is the 2nd in the Forever Family Trilogy, and while it can read as a standalone, the story is more enjoyable with the background story of Declan and Jeremy. EASY is a funny, sexy read - highly recommend.

Jackson and Simon were so cute!

I have an abiding love for bi-awakenings that don’t cause loads of internal/external strife/trauma. It’s not that I don’t totally get why such a change in your understanding of your own sexuality would be huge or think people aren’t allowed to deal with it in whatever way they do or that books that portray that aren’t written beautifully. I just really love when characters are able to process it in a way that doesn’t cause trauma and feel safe enough in their environment/family (found and bio) that it’s a positive thing throughout. It gives me warm happy feelings. This ticked that box so hard for me. Jackson was such a sweetheart and I’ll admit it was kind of adorable how his heart took the wheel for a little bit to let his brain catch up. He’s such a genuinely good man. He’s not perfect by any means and sometimes he didn’t always communicate as well as he could have but he was fundamentally good because when that happened he recognised it and worked to fix it. Simon was… perfect. I loved him so much. He was so confident and true to who he was whilst also having vulnerabilities. Being confident doesn’t make you infallible or invulnerable. So often those concepts get mixed and it was great to see someone who was genuinely confident in himself also accept and show that it didn’t mean he didn’t get scared or nervous or anxious. I’m so, so glad that we got to visit with these guys. Favor is one of my favourite novellas and seeing Declan and Jeremy again was fantastic!

Simon and Jackson are a great couple who give each other what each needs. Simon is in his 20's and has been looking for a life partner for a few years, but so far all he's finding are one night stands. Then a freak accident sends him to the dentist his friend works for.

One of the things I really liked about Jackson is that while he is straight, he doesn't shy away from his immediate attraction to the much younger Simon. He's on board almost immediately to explore their attraction and where it will lead.

Simon has all the usual hesitations you would expect about getting hurt from falling for a supposedly straight guy who may only be interested in some exploration. But Jackson reassures him he wants it all and physical attraction is only part of it.

Jackson is loving, protective and a little jealous. He pays attention to everything that makes Simon happy, and his end goal is to take care of Simon forever. Simon has a loud, funny personality and appears confident, but all that just covers up a guy with insecurities. He's never had a man take care of him like Jackson does.

These two are on fire and yet sweet together. The author did a great job of developing their characters and their relationship. I really enjoyed their story and also the added bonus of revisiting Declan and Jeremy from the first book in the series. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Loved it 🖤

EASY is book 2 in a trilogy, but I was too impatient to start from the beginning.😁 The story made perfect sense, and I had no issue following the plot, but I'm definitely going back to check out book one FAVOUR as those characters were absolutely beautifully written and made some hilarious cameos 💖
Okay, so Simon is absolutely my spirit animal 💖 I totally felt for him - trying to navigate the tricky transition from kinky casual to kinky emotional commitment has never been his forte. I completely related to his inability to read social cues, over-sharing, and constantly going for the most unavailable guys he can stumble upon. 💖 He wears his heart on his sleeve and seems to be ready to please, yet is constantly left feeling underwhelmed by his brief and increasingly disappointing sexual encounters.💖
When Jackson helps him out with some emergency dental work, sparks fly immediately. BUT Jackson has never been into guys, so needless to say, meeting Simon and feeling all hot and bothered by his frank and open attitude towards sex has him all sorts of confused. 💖
I loved how aware Jackson was of his own autonomy - once he came to the conclusion that what propels him toward Simon isn't simply curiosity, but solid emotional attachment, it was go time. This dude showed zero hesitation and dived right into sexy time, domestic bliss and loving on Simon with all of his heart and soul. 💖
Absolutely loved it💖

An embarrassing piercing mishap causes a chipped tooth and Simon seeks out a dentist. Only Simon is further embarrassed when the dentist overhears him describing the mishap to a friend over the phone. Dr Jackson Allbrook has always considered himself straight and not cut out for dating, but when he overhears Simon’s phone call, it peaks his interest. Simon also has a long history of short-lived relationships. He has a habit of chasing unavailable straight men so he’s pretty wary of establishing anything more than a friendship with Jackson.

I quite enjoyed this second novella (147 pp, just over 4 audio hrs) in the Family Forever Trilogy. Simon is fun and bubbly with no filter, a classic one-night stand guy, and he doesn’t have a malicious bone in his body. Jackson is older and more measured, but equally decent. Like the first book (Favor), I liked the main characters and their chemistry was strong. Unlike Favor, I felt there was more depth and backstory to the two characters in this book and it didn’t feel as rushed. This is a bisexual awakening romance and that was the only weak point: Jackson and the blossoming relationship just never hit more than a moment’s hesitation and the few speed bumps never slowed anything down—it felt a bit TOO easy. 🎧 US voice actor Liam Di Cosimo performed well on the audio. His upbeat voice suited Simon perfectly and he made an effort to really deepen his voice for Jackson’s dialogue.

I really like Kiki Clark but I don’t love this series. Book 1 (Favor) was a struggle to get through. This was a tiny bit better mostly because we get to see the friends together again and Simon is a fabulous character. Simon is that brash, tell-it-like-it-is, no filter friend who is all up in your face and in your business because he loves you type-of-friend. You know the one… no one can make you snort milk out of your nose quite like them…

Jackson was 🥱😴💤 dull x10. He was hard to understand. I figured he was Ace but even Simon asks him that and Jackson says no. His emotions are a flatline the entire book. He doesn’t seem like he ever gets anxiety, sad, excited or nervous about anything. I had to picture him as neurodivergent (I don’t think he is, but it’s not addressed and it makes sense).

Besides Jack being a very dull boy…. I loved Simon enough for both of them and I’m glad he got everything he needed and deserved with Jackson. Since Simon was a bit ADHD, Jackson’s calm persona evened him out a bit, it just made Jackson come across a bit flat, but I get the reasoning.

Anyway, I’m off to read book 3. Apparently Will and Samuel are BFF’s AND roommates? Who knew?!? We definitely don’t pick that up at all in this book and it feels like a weird pairing but I’m still excited to see the rest of the friend group get their HEA.

Here's Kiki Clark's Forever Family Trilogy. The second novel is "Easy."

This book! D: It adorable and fun and awkward and vulnerable.

I gotta say, I love meet-awkwards sooo much more than meet-cutes. It feels more genuine and realistic…it’s also sooo much more entertaining.

I liked this story more than the first one. It felt more flushed out, it had more time with the couple on-page together, and we were shown how perfect they were together versus someone/someones just stating that fact over and over.

Series: Forever Family Trilogy #2
Rating: 5 stars - I loved it!

Simon is ready for the real deal when it comes to relationships but unfortunately his libido hasn’t gotten the message. After a disastrous hookup, he finds himself frustrated and missing part of a tooth, which is why he is at the dentist when he meets Dr. Jackson Allbrook. Things heat up quickly between them but Simon is hesitant to believe he has found Mr. Right.

This was an extremely wonderful low angst, high heat romance. Simon is fun and flirty, and a bit chaotic, while Jackson is sweet, quiet, and controlled. These two are the complete opposites but they worked beautifully together. Jackson may have always assumed he was straight but once he realizes he is attracted to Simon he goes all in and doesn’t hesitate to reach for what he wants, which I loved seeing. It was wonderful seeing an older man who had his shit together and wasn’t afraid of new emotional and sexual revelations in his life.

Simon and Jackson’s story was extremely steamy and sweet. I loved it and couldn’t put it down. It had age gaps, spanking, bisexual awakenings, and friends who overshare, and so much more to love. I highly recommend this one.

I really enjoyed this book!
Simon is VERY open about his sexual experiences, he is a bold and highly flirtatious man who knows what he needs - yet there is another side to him that is shy and vulnerable.
Jackson is about fourteen years older than Simon, he is more the strong, silent type. His past relationships never invoked strong feelings within him but with Simon - even though everything is new to him - he feels jealousy, has caretaker tendencies, and is quite possessive.
Simon and Jackson feel an instant attraction to each other, but they both have reasons for being cautious. I really liked all the communication between them and the extra research Jackson did to prepare himself for his first mm relationship. A deep connection builds quickly between them and leads to explosive, spicy, sizzling sexy times, followed by a genuine love, and a HEA that will leave you with a dreamy sigh.
This book was a quick read, it is well written and flowed smoothly. There are plenty of laughs, high heat, engaging main characters, interesting secondary characters, and a love connection that feels genuine.
This is my honest review of the ARC I received from the author.

🥵🔥🥵🔥🥵🔥 whoa. Okay. So, what an adventure.

Simon, Jeremy's bff from book 1, and he's ready to settle down and is having trouble finding Mr. Right. After a (*) gone wrong (piercings and teeth don't mix) he lands in the chair of Dr. Allbrook, dentist. Then [redacted for not wanting to spoil you but OMG] and after all that Simon thinks Jackson is straight and tries to go the friend route.

Jackson is immediately captivated by Simon. And after a game night with Simon's friends the storyline HEATS UP and speeds up FAST.

The story from here is best left unmentioned because you definitely want to go in blind.

Suffice to say, there were many moments where I was giggling and a few times I was like "wait... what?".

Kiki Clark doesn't miss. She never has. This is a short, steamy, *and a little silly* novella that I honestly wish was way longer. But it didn't need to be to flush out the story

I love these characters, and the found family they created along the way. Can't wait to see who book 3 is about!!!

In conclusion, this was a hit. 10/10, you know I absolutely recommend.

I was skeptical about this book—promiscuous characters are not my cup of tea—,but despite her dirty talking guys, I really like this author and his fun, heartwarming stories.
Here we have a guy looking for a forever partner and a family, and other who wasn’t even looking. The fist chapters were a bit hard for me—all about Simon sexual exploits—but when they started dating was a lot cuter. Jackson not only discovers a new side of his sexuality, but also a caveman trait, taking everything in stride.
I specially liked the talking parts, no dramatic misunderstandings and unnecessary pain. So if one don’t mind characters with a extremely high sex drive and the use of the word “slut” as a normal thing is a nice story, I’ve enjoyed reading it despite those things.

«"Um, so what do we do now?"
"Eat dessert as we cuddle on the couch and watch a movie?"».
