Flawlessly formatted ebook with amazing graphics
I’ve read a lot of ebooks, but none where graphics are so important and yet flawlessly incorporated into flowable format. With any flowable ebook, you can always click on the graphic to enlarge it. But these were a decent size (maximum column width) to begin with. (Note: I read ebooks using an iPad). For me, that made reading this ebook a joy, especially as you could see all the colors in the code, just as it will appear on your computer screen. It was easy to follow along all the screen shots showing you how to navigate the gaming space and set up your environment.
Now onto the content - I thought the author did an amazing job explaining all the elements needed to learn to code Roblox . I’ve written programs and macros before, but have never attempted to do anything in a gaming environment. After reading this book, I definitely want to give Roblox a try!

A fun and easy way to learn coding
This book is a good and easy guide to understanding the logic of coding. I especially liked the sections about coding structure, functions, conditionals, etc. because the author explains in an easy way the concepts and then provides examples of how to practice. Reading this book is a good way to learn the basics of coding and have fun while doing it.

Great resource for Roblox dev
Coming already with a little bit of knowledge in coding, this book is a very useful and easy-to-follow guide for those who are interested in learning how to code a game in Roblox/Lua. The author shares the basics of it with practical exercises in each chapter. After going through the basics, the author guides you to create your first game, which of course, you first need to plan out. Overall, this is a great resource, I recommend it!

This book isn't what it seems.
The book is mostly about Roblox development. I was expecting to use it as a code guide to elevate my generic game development skill set - I don't use Roblox, but instead something called Defold Game Engine instead - but now I'm not sure if this book is going to be helpful for my use case. I think if the author wanted to write a book about a specific game engine they should mention it in the title. I feel scammed.

Wow! So much info!
This truly is a step-by-step guide. Colonna gives you all the tools and explanations with images to produce your very own game. Simple and easy to understand with pro tips throughout. This seriously is a MUST guide for anyone interested in coding. A young teen could understand this. Well done!
