Viniculture, or the cultivation of grapes for wine, has quite a fascinating history since its inception in 6000 BC. Especially intriguing is its adoption in the Roman Empire, and after the Empire's collapse, how it was maintained by the Roman Catholic Church. This guide also explains the do's and dont'ts of home wine making, and provides recipes as well.

This book does a wonderful job of exploring wine making. It’s step by step guide “how to make your own wine at home. As you walk your way through the pages you will learn everything you need to know about wine making.

Good read
This was interesting,though simple. Only one error, which is not bad for an ebook. There are recipes and equipment lists to get one started. I would have liked some pictures of the process.

It was okay
The book was.thin but informative. It didn't have any trouble shooting tips. That would have been helpful for.a beginner. I have a few bottles under my belt.

Clear and focused
I was just a kid when dad made wine, so I didn't understand what he was doing. This book gives a nice overview of what goes on when making wine.
