This book sizzled. The sex and the plot mixed extremely well. I liked how the story intertwined the three friends. The plot for the third story was my favorite, however the sex was a little to extreme for me.
Pretty good. It is a little different. It is primarily erotic stories.
This book is not about interesting characters or plots. It is three different stories about women visiting a sex club.
INVITATION TO SEDUCTION Debbie is about 39 and is married to man who no longer can have sex and won't try to get help. She has been having a nice relationship via email with a home remodeling contractor Stephen who gives her work making stain glass art. She has never seen him in person. She goes to a sex club and meets him but doesn't know it is him. She returns to the club twice more and has sex with him on those times. After he meets her at a job site, she avoids him.
INVITATION TO PLEASURE Virginia is an executive secretary and marries Brett who needs a wife to host business parties and organize his life. She is an exhibitionist in public but not passionate at home with him. Brett sees her pleasure herself in front of others at a sex club.
INVITATION TO PASSION Stacy goes to a sex club three times a month and has sex with men in their 20's. She is in her 40's. The owner of the sex club is Jud. He has been attracted to her for two years, and now decides to do something about it.
Sexual language: strong. Number of sex scenes: every few pages throughout the book. Setting: current day U.S. Copyright: 2006. Genre: erotic contemporary romance.
I’ve read one other Susan Johnson story: 4 stars for WEDDING SURPRISE (in the anthology TWIN PEAKS). My review was posted 5/1/07.
I loved it. Great erotica, HOT sex scenes, mature women & men... even some angst and emotion thrown in. I like the way Haynes writes, and the men were uber hot & totally 100% into the women, which is nice. No wishy-washy feelings and things like that.
This book is a collection of stories about 3 friends and how a sex club is a catalyst for change in their lives. What I really liked is how these women are not young, perfect things, they are women in their late 30's and early 40's, life has dealt them some knocks. You would think that the sex club would make the stories somewhat sordid, but that isn't the case. While at the club each woman realizes just what is missing in their lives, passion. One of them take matters into their own hands, Debbie, one follows anothers lead, Virginia, and the last, Stacy, finds there is more to life than just sex.
This was nice collection of three stories revolving around a club called "Invitation to Seduction". This club is not so much a BDSM club, but a sex club to fulfill the desires of a woman. It's a pretty cool concept that works well in books, but never in reality. Still, I enjoyed it.
I have a few friends that this book would make readers out of! This book was definitely not my normal read. It was more of a 50 cent surprise from goodwill. This book is not for the prude or the easily shied away! Its three stories about love, power and sex. Period!
3 1/2 stars. Hot, steamy and erotic. An unsubstantiated leap in the relationship department was probably the only downside. Meaning, too quick from lust to everlasting love. But pretty scintillating none the less.
