Blake's Retribution
Sheriff Blake Jones arrives in South Dakota to a rough mining town full of lawlessness, taking over for Sheriff Jim, who is killed under mysterious circumstances.
As Blake vows retribution for Jim's death, he's summoned to a meeting by Rupert, the man who runs the town using scare tactics and threats, at his house. Blake's suspicions are aroused as he talks to Rupert, and Blake is shocked to see the woman who broke his heart, Nola, now married to Rupert.
As Blake investigates Jim's death, he's warned to back off before it's too late. But he refuses; shocked at the corrupt townsfolk who would do anything to keep their town lawless and their people fearful. Too late, Blake realizes that his life is on the line, and he must take desperate action to rid the corrupt town of Rupert and his men, before his life and Nola's are lost forever.

Naive young sheriff Blake Jones moves to Bleakwood where the corrupt mayor has shot former Sheriff Grub and abuses Nola the former love of Blake’s life. If all this sounds clichéed it is.

Awful
Just a badly written book. Plot holes bigger than Grand Canyon. Entire story incomprehensible. No explanations for any event or turn.

A TYR. Western Action Adventure (BR)
TYR. has penned a western action adventure which takes place in a town in South Dakota. A young man, an ex sheriff, accepts a job in a town where the previous sheriff was shot from the dark. The new sheriff begins an investigation and finds that the person who hired him warns him to back off. At the same time he finds his ex fiancee had married this slick outlaw. The new sheriff does not allow the warning or an old girl friend warn him off. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Sheriff Blake saved his town and the woman he loved
When Blake came to Bleakwood to serve as sheriff, he soon had a huge job. He was finally able to get the town back and also the woman he loved.
