I’ve been exploring the theme of toxic parents a lot in my mental health journey this year, so it was fitting to receive a copy of this book. There are several different methods (like breathwork and boundary-setting) used to help readers address their past but also figure out how to move forward and leave the trauma of that past behind. It’s very informative and the author doesn’t encourage readers to re-traumatize themselves by living in the painful moments from earlier times. *Advance copy provided by the publisher in exchange for my honest review.
