Debut novel by Ruby Skye. Originally four spicy Naughtiness Hiding in Plain Sight, The Green Job Board, The Amber Job Board & The Charity Job Board.
Warning, this is a smut filled story full of kinks and men. 18+ Author Less angst, more smut. You have been warned....
Ruby Skye - Erotic Kink Positive Author "In her debut novel, Ruby Skye explores many kinks and desires in a positive and alluring way. From the first encounter you will be hooked and won't be able to look away. This is an erotic BDSM story with many kinks and even more men."
Ruby Skye is an erotic romance author who writes addictive kink positive stories bringing to life fantasies and taboo desires.
Hi I’m Ruby, I'm an indie author who loves to write about relatable, hard working submissive women who are sexually open minded. My motto is less angst and more smut. I like my men strong, hot and confident in what they want and I love writing about what they'll do to my female main characters.
A few personal details about me. I have a wonderful husband, two children and a dog. I live in Melbourne Australia although I was born and raised in London, UK. I work for myself during the day and write during my spare time. And that’s around home life, kids’ sports, dog walks, the movies and dancing with my friends after a few glasses of Prosecco.
3.25 stars, this wasn't that bad, but some of the scenes we're so weirdly written and there wasn't much of a plot so i can't really review it how i'd like 😭😭 Maybe this would've been more my thing if i was looking for a mindless read where i could lose myself in the smut
her husband went along with this SOOO easily which i didn't really like, but it was needed for extra smut ig!!

Thank you to LoveNotes PR for giving me a kindle copy of this book !!
Finally, my first ever and well deserved top-rated spicy book! This book did not disappoint. It was such a fun read very character-driven, with the FMC exploring her boundaries and desires. And don’t even get me started on the supportive husband he made me melt.
The exploration of kinks without judgment and the club members taking their roles seriously had me screaming. The men were attentive, always checking in with Roxy and making it clear the safe word was there for a reason and okay to use. That week-long stint Roxy signed up for. Sign me up, please!
Honestly, I felt sad for Roxy when it was over and I think I developed some attachment issues myself. The connection she had with the men, and what they did to her, was just brilliant. I loved all the men who devoured her, but I’m a little obsessed with Tom. I’m so excited to see what the next book brings, and I really hope we get to see those men again.
Just a couple of small things: I loved the intimate tattoo moment, but having two of them felt like a bit much. Also, everything went so smoothly it would’ve been interesting to see something go wrong or to have some consequences. But who knows, maybe the next book will bring that twist!
For a debut novel by a fellow Australian brilliant.

DNF at 25%. This was a cringy mess. The dirty talk was so awkward. The various scenes were uncomfy. How cool James was (not even just cool, enthusiastic) felt unrealistic. I didn’t care for this at all.
The Secret Club 🌶️ Firstly,I want to thank LoveNotes Pr & Ruby Skye for trusting me with this story. This was definitely such an experience for me,since it was my first time in this genre and my first touch with such explicit scenes on a constant basis during a story. I won't lie, firstly I was a little bit scared and confused, yet as Rosie herself, as the story went by I enjoyed every page even more ,and oh boy I will say it I LIKED IT! We follow Rosie, who in order to gain some money for her family starts a job in an elite golfing club.Soon she will learn that she got into a kink club which members will pay her good only to spend some hours with her or under her. As you understood, this story is strictly about 18+ reader, and I really advise you to read it only if you are over that age because GIRL what I read it that magnificent story is one of its kind-I am pretty sure I will not find it again. The only way I could desribe this book is with the word freedom. For Rosie and for all the ordinaries that every woman wants to break, even with the constant changes she uses in her narration from fast when Rosie's life happens to slow when Rosie's private visits arise ,makes the reader understand how the protagonist herself gets a salvation when she does the secret deed. Personally,I will revisit the author soon again becuase oh.my.god. this was FIRE! 4⭐
I’ll give this a generous two stars, simply because I liked the premise. Had to DNF at 40% though. The dialogue was too choppy at points and overall very cringey.
TBH, I did not have very high expectations from this one but color freaking surprised and shocked. the book has delivered!
SPICE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm thinking so hard right now to be able to retell my experience of reading about specific things, one after another and try to detangle roxy's thoughts, her attachments with the clients, the anticipation of her husband's reaction and the aftermath.
This was a totally New concept to me and I'm not just blowing up smoke, I understand monogamy and polygamy too, but this was very different as I felt like it was somewhere between the two, like the FMC is dedicated to her husband, but at the same time is also exploring her own sexuality and kinks with others. It was a total mind scratcher for me and still is about the husband's thought process.
Not giving you anymore spoilers, I enjoyed reading this one!
I'd like to thank Love notes PR and the author Ruby Skte, for trusting me with the ARC and what makes it so special is, this is the first ARC!
Seems very similar to another book I’ve read by a popular author. Her being a mum definitely seemed like an after thought and kinda left a sour taste. Probably would have rated it higher if she wasn’t
This was definitely something 😂 an unapologetic, no-plot-just-vibes kind of ride that leaned hard into kink and fantasy.

3/5 ⭐️ 4.5/5 🌶️
⟡ Review ⟡ I went into this blind and wasn’t sure what to expect. Rosie lands a job at a fancy golf resort, which sounds innocent enough until she discovers the club’s very exclusive "playmate" program. Employees can sign up to fulfill the private, kinky, fantasies of members. With her husband’s blessing, Rosie signs up to the game and dives in head first, exploring a world of high-paying kinky adventures.
Let’s be real, this book is 380 pages of pure smut and that’s not bad per se. But there is zero story behind Rosie’s different jobs. All we get is her becoming a kinky escort, going on jobs and loving everything that’s being done to her. Then she goes home to her husband who goes all possessive on her and they also have lots of sex. Don’t get me wrong, much of it was hot (if I ignore the kinks that didn’t do anything for me…everything food related…yikes) but I was wishing for a little more substance. For example, James, the husband, was very fast to agree to his wife’s new profession. A little backstory or build-up, like if they were already dabbling in sharing, would’ve added some dimension. And conveniently, all of her clients were around her age and good-looking. This seems highly unrealistic, but then it’s probably not meant to be realistic to begin with. But some variety in the looks and age of the men would have added to Rosie’s internal conflict. The final job is a week-long kink marathon with eight men that starts off steamy but turns a bit repetitive by the end. So all in all, it was a hot and very spicy ride which delved into a a huge variety of kinks, some definitely out of my comfort zone. Take it for what it is and you will have a good time.
I loved reading this book, the main character and her self exploration journey is very interesting. I hope we do get to see more of the men in this book in the next one as well. I loved how supportive the main characters husband was about her self exploration side of her job and how possessive he was definitely puts him on "best book boyfriend" list of books I have read thus far. Definitely a 5/5 star rating for me and highly recommend this book if you enjoy books with a lot of spice to them.
Was this easy to read no, do I recommend it heck YES! This was deliciously written and it is not for the faint of heart, but it’s a must read! Grateful to the ladies who have recommended this to me🥵😅🙏🏾😆.. you ladies are thee best 🙌🏾🫶🏾
I'm not sure why people are giving this book 5 stars, to be honest. It reads like a badly written manual. The sentence structure is strange, as if it was written by chat GPT and then edited by the author. There are grammar and spelling mistakes. The plot is non-existent. The premise seemed like it could be an interesting story, but the fact that she has children whom she barely mentions, is an entirely selfish character, and has a husband, who one minute seems like such an easy going, devoted guy, and next minute appears unhinged, just didn't work for me. I'm not opposed to a heavily smutty book, but I do need something to carry it along and keep me interested. Honestly, I don't know how I actually made it to the end. It got so boring and severely lacked any substance. I just didn't feel for the characters. For the most part, the sex scenes did nothing for me, seemed sloppily put together, and the ending where all 8 men were saying goodbye to her was like a scene from the Wizard of Oz. I rolled my eyes so many times I went dizzy. And, ok, she was up for anything, but seriously she had no experience with barely any of the scenarios she was in, but never used her safe word and was quite happy to have a speculum up her arse 🤦🏻♀️. Give me a break!
The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because of the sploshing scene in the middle of the book. The bloke was really lovely and sweet. I think 2 stars is generous to be fair. Absolute tripe.
There are some serious TW in this book, so make sure to check them first.
All opinions are my own, and everyone has different tastes. If you enjoyed it, that's totally up to you, but it was not for me at all.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was basically jade wests naughty list, but not as good. I also thought the husband having no feelings toward it was weird. Straight smut, no plot which is fine if the smut is really good but it was mediocre and repetitive.
More extreme than I expected, but very well written. There are aspects of bondage and pain play that I have zero interest in. I kept reading because I was interested in the FMC’s reactions and her emotional journey. I was unsure about continuing the series during some of those scenes, but with the way this book ended, I’m interested in following the journey of the characters.
So when I seen Ruby Skyes post on Instagram saying I've had people read, star rate it 5 stars but no one is leaving a review. Is it too spicy?! Is it too spicy!!!! I was like alright I gotta see what's the sitch here. We'll I am here to report to you it is fillllthy in the best way 🙈 IMO this was erotica more so than romance and you know what that's okay. The plot to me comes from Rosie going through a discovery and awakening. Rosie starts off this book looking for a second job, in this economy that tracks lol. Her and her husband just need a little help financially. Off Rosie goes to a swanky country club, the first 6 months are chill she's a waitress. Then after 6 months they approach her about the fact that the club is more than just golf, they cater to peoples more carnal desires. Now Rosie and her husband already have a healthy seggs life that's not the issue. However the promise of an opportunity to make more money, and explore her sexuality and limits appealed to her. Her husband was like 'babe you go do the research and bring home the knowledge for our romance". There was a lot of k!nks covered in this book, the list of 'triggers' was extensive. Rosie really went through a wide variety of jobs and explored A LOT. Some I was like idk how this is gonna go but I found Ruby wrote each topic well. Not only though was there an awakening in her, but James her husband seemed to have discovered alot about himself and I'm hoping book 2 we see more about his learning and awakening. Overall I'd say alot of people didn't review this book because they were probably taken back what they read, and not sure how to approach the given topic. If you're looking for something with a variety of spice and lots of it, this is a great read.
This was my first read by this author and I spotted that this was the first book in a new series, The Clarendon Playmates Kink series - which sounded like so much fun, I couldn't resist diving into take a look!
So, this was my first intentional kinks read - I went into this fully knowing what kind of book this would be and that it would be super spicy and graphic.
If this is something that you're not up for, then I'd maybe give this series a miss.
For me, although this is definitely not my kind of lifestyle, I could not get enough of reading it all here and I absolutely flew through this book!
I honestly could not put it down!
Eye-opening much!
This was definitely packed with spicy scenes, but I really liked that there were some well fleshed out (no pun intended there!) characters who were relatable and believable and that there was a decent storyline beyond just the spice.
Although I'm pretty open and honest and really don't mind talking about sexuality - I am very conscious that I come from an era where it was all behind shut doors and hushed - so to see how accessible and free these characters were within their relationships, was refreshing.
I love the whole premise of this secret club and am pretty sure that there will be places like this not too far away - it's just not something I'd ever encounter now.
Very intriguing though for future generations!!
A brilliant read, I'm obsessed and will definitely be eagerly awaiting getting my hands on the next books in this series.

“Welcome to Clarendon Playmates, Roxy. Where fantasies are required, and dreams do come true”
Let’s me honest, no one is picking up a smutty book and expecting much plot. But sometimes, pure smut is just what is needed. This book is dripping with sexual energy, top tier spice and naughtiness. It was so addictive - my only negative was that I had to keep putting it down (definitely only read this at home and when you have access to a cold shower 😉).
If you’re wanting an easy read that’s steamy, fantasy-driven and full of kink exploration, then go and open the door to the Clarendon Club. You might just find it opens your eyes too… and your legs 😉
Thankyou Love Notes Pr and Ruby Skye for my gifted copy of The Secret Club in exchange for an honest review. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series and continue to explore these characters and their fantasies!
This book was a very (very) pleasant surprise. It was a fun sensual read and for the most part largely lighthearted but at the same time it was also incredibly honest and informative. Not that it’s intended as educational.
For most of human history it’s been accepted if not always acceptable for half of humanity to freely pursue their sexual wants and desires. For a long time it’s even been encouraged but only for the male of our species. Whereas any women attempting something similar it’s been one round of slut-shaming after another, because “good girls” don’t do that. There have been countless books written on the subject.
For me one of the most important lines in this book was: “It’s society that says this stuff is wrong, but I say if it’s not hurting anyone and everything is consensual, then get your rocks off anyway you enjoy.”
Considering the amount of dark romance, BDSM books & erotic novels I’ve read, I thought I was aware of many a kink but…. you learn something new everyday!
Much to my delight!
The story follows Rosie/Roxy who gets a job waiting at the local Golf course. At the Clarendon everyone has an alias. After proving her trustworthiness, a new financially rewarding opportunity arises. Her husband is positively drooling with desire of the things club members what to do to his wife.
I really liked the way Ruby trows us right into the story. We see how Rosie’s interest in this side of things develops, despite having a healthy sex life with her husband. And yes, the spic is pretty much off the charts!!
The research & detail is clear & I almost feel like this would be a great reference guide for someone looking to expand their own knowledge on the subject of sexual kinks. Take a little look for yourself! 😉
I was provided a ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The actual story was a 4.5 in my opinion, but the loving and genuinely supportive husband pushed it up to 5/5 for me. That’s so rare in books like this one that I’ve read.
It was different than what I normally read. The spice level was great, the story was well paced, and her husband was so supportive I honestly spent the whole book waiting for jealousy or the other shoe to drop. You can have a lot of good experiences when you open up your mind to new things.
I am now stuck as I swore I would stop reading books from unfinished series, but the blurb for this one pulled me in so hard I just had to give it a shot. The preview for the next book at the end takes away a little from the ache that happens when you’re waiting for another to release.
