Consuming Rose: An Alternative View: The Guardian Series, Book 2

Rate this book
From the moment he saw her, she consumed him. Nothing in life surprises Esson, until he meets a young woman at a conference who makes his blood dance and burn. She is an enigma to him. He knows every demon and recognizes their blood, but she is different. The mystery consumes him as he searches for her, but she has disappeared.

Esson will do anything to find her and make her his. This is a short story that is a companion to the Guardian Series and should be listened to after Protecting Rose.

Twisted glimpse into the mind of the villain

If you enjoyed reading Protecting Rose, book 1 in The Guardian Series and loved to hate the villain, this book is definitely for you. The short story gives an alternate view of some of the elements that happened in and even before book 1 and gives us a further glimpse into the twisted mind of professor Esson. Though the story doesn't necessarily have to be read to be able to follow the story, I definitely recommend reading it.

I love The Guardian series, these are some of my favorite characters. So it’s great to be able to read things from one of my favorite villain’s point of view. The devious, evil and cunning man does so love his debauchery and his sight and every thought are set on Rose and the need to find her and make her his. Can’t wait to get my hands on whatever K.B. Wheelock writes next!

I have read this before reading book one and I am beyond intrigued! I am going to go read book one to see what is happening from Rose’s point of view

This book is the perfect accompaniment to the series, I love companion stories told in another’s point of view, I highly recommend this read
