A great book for beginners and advance voice actors. Not too long for a first book on the subject, but loaded with information. And covers a wide range of topics. Really a must have to any actors professional library..

The author of this short book, Chris Agos, is an accomplished voice-over actor with numerous credits in a wide variety of media. He teaches voice-over acting which prompted him to write this brief text. In it, he hints at several other similar texts in the works. Unfortunately he is not as good an author as he is an actor. The writing is colloquial and unpolished; the firm hand of an accomplished editor would have had salutary effect. The text is also highly repetitive, as if responding to a floor director making a signal like two hands pulling taffy. While I'm happy to have read it, there must be better works on the subject.

This is the best book I have found with specific action items for the beginner VO artist. I am just getting started myself and was relieved to find out that nothing should exclude me from being successful in this career, however, there are obstacles that this book will highlight if you are considering VO. I recommend visiting the website that accompanies this book. Good luck!
