Welcome to Mustang Mountain where love runs as wild as the free-spirited horses who roam the hillsides. Framed by rivers, lakes, and breathtaking mountains, it's also the place the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain call home. They might be rugged and reclusive, but they'll risk their hearts for the curvy girls they love.
January is for Jackson by Eve London
Her mountain man hero must make an impossible choice.
Emma
I've always been spontaneous, but this time I might have gone too far. Showing up at my brother's remote cabin to surprise him for his birthday seemed like a good idea. But he's nowhere to be found, the cabin's locked up tight, and a snowstorm's on the way. When his closest neighbor stops by, the gorgeous grumpy mountain man insists on taking me home with him until the storm passes. He's burly and bossy, but I can tell there's a kind heart buried under the layers of flannel.
Jackson
The last thing I need is to be snowed in with my best friend's little sister. If anything happens between me and the beautiful curvy blonde, he won't just end our friendship, he might even end me. It doesn't matter that she's impossible to resist. The sooner I get her out of my cabin, the better off we'll both be. But how can I let her go when I know deep down she's meant to be mine?
February is for Ford by Kaci Rose
Her only chance at safety is her single dad, mountain man, best friend…
Luna When my house is broken into, I turn to the one person I know I can trust. My best friend Ford. I know he will find out who did this, and all the mountain men of Mustang Mountain will help. I didn't expect him to move me in with him or that living with him and his daughter would feel more like home than my empty cabin. I'm beginning to understand the hype around single dads when the unexpected happens and turns our whole friendship upside down.
Ford I have been in love with Luna since we were teenagers, but we have only ever been friends. That said I'd do anything to protect her, from anyone, including myself. With the mayor's wife plotting another one of her schemes to bring new people to town, who knows who could be behind this break in but I plan to find out. I rally the other mountain men and what I find is enough to stop us all in our tracks…
When Eve London was a girl she wanted to be a trapeze artist. Instead, she grew up to be like most women–a juggler–trying to keep bunches of balls in the air. Now she spends her days writing about the kind of men she likes – sexy, shameless, and just a little bit sarcastic.
Snowed-in kisses, sweet heat, protective mountain men, curvy women, a protective wolf, and a determined small-town matchmaker who won’t stop until all her men find love.
In January, Emma (h) shows up at her brother’s remote mountain cabin just as a snowstorm hits, only he’s not there. Jackson (H), the quiet and very shirtless mountain man she’s crushed on for years, offers her shelter. As the snow piles up, so does the tension, and one night turns into something much harder to walk away from. A romantic quickie with a side of heat, some minor drama, and a sweet mountain man who never saw it coming.
In February, Luna’s (h) house is broken into, and her best friend Ford (H) doesn’t hesitate to bring her and her suitcase home. He tells himself it’s about protection, but having her in his space feels a little too natural. He’s had feelings for her since they were teens, and proximity makes it impossible to keep them buried. Things heat up, fast. Add in a stolen heirloom, a loyal wolf, and a feisty five-year-old with serious matchmaking energy, and it’s everything a curvy girl romance should be.
Both stories blend steamy moments with love, connection, overcoming fear, friendship, and the risk it takes to turn comfort into commitment. From snowed-in tension to Valentine’s Day declarations, this collection nails the small-town charm and delivers on the cozy, romantic, low-angst vibes. Sweet mountain men, found family, and the kind of love that feels like home.
"Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain" by Eve London and Kaci Rose.
5 ⭐s Book 1 "January is for Jackson" by Eve London
Emma has come to Mustang Mountain to de-stress from knowing she's going to be laid off from her job after the holidays. Worst-case scenario: she won't be able to find a new job; she'll no longer be able to keep her apartment; at twenty-five, she'll have to move back with her parents.
It's her first time in Montana; she and her older brother, Miles, were raised in San Diego. She's hoping that perhaps he'll allow her to stay long enough to find a job and this place can be her new home.
Not wanting Miles to discourage her visit, she decided to pop in and surprise him for his birthday. Surprise! He's not home, his cabin is locked up tight as a drum, and the real kicker? Her rental SUV is stuck in a snowbank thanks to a heavy snowstorm descending upon the mountain.
Jackson has always lived in Montana, but even he is having trouble driving up the mountain road to his cabin. As he passes Miles' cabin, he sees an unfamiliar vehicle in the drive. Since cabins are the target of recent break-ins, he decides to investigate. He can't believe his eyes when he sees the beautiful blonde by the door. He tells her that Miles won't be home for a few days and offers to have her be his guest until he gets back. He's acting so grumpy that she'd rather go back to town until he tells her that he doesn't think he'd be able to successfully do it. He wants to get home before dark, so he gets her into his truck.
What a day! Miles is away; she's introduced to Hades, the huge wolf cared for by everyone in the area. Jackson seems to be a really grumpy grump: he didn't mention Moose, his eighty-plus-pound Rottie.
To add to the mix, Ruby Nelson of Nelson's Mercantile is on a campaign to help the town grow by publishing photos of the mountain men to attract women to the area. Women equal wives; wives equal babies; babies equal growth. She's chosen Jackson for Mr. January, and there are postcards displayed all over the town. When he irately demands they be taken down, she agrees. However, the cards have already been mailed to every woman who signed up for them at the town's visitor site. An online profile was also created for him. Thank goodness, for Ruby's sake, his personal email address wasn't used! He wonders how the rest of the men she's chosen will feel about her efforts.
5 ⭐s Book 2 February is for Ford.
Ford should have known that he'd be picked as Ruby's Mr. February. Unless they can get her stopped in time, Miles will probably be Mr. March.
His daughter Isabella, or Izzy as he calls her, asks why he looks like he bit into something sour. How can he explain what Ruby has done? Especially after Izzy noticed flyers with his face on them posted about town. Of course she noticed them; didn’t she just remind him that she's five?
The conversation ends quickly when his best friend, Luna, calls to tell him someone had broken into her house. The house was ransacked, but only one item of value was taken: her grandmother's wedding ring. The ring she's always planned on wearing when she marries. Luna is not only his best friend, but she's also Izzy's kindergarten teacher.
Her house is now not safe for her to stay there until it's repaired and they discover who did it. She'll stay with him and Izzy until then. She fits seamlessly into their lives, but all good things must come to an end...
It's only after she leaves that he discovers he's truly fallen in love with his best friend! She also has come to the same conclusion. But then all of a sudden things change. How could she have been so stupid? This connection is all one-sided. Otherwise, why would he stop answering her calls or texts? She just has to bow out gracefully and learn how to mend a broken heart. It's possible, isn't it?

February Is For Ford: A Friends to Lovers, Single Dad, Curvy Girl, Mountain Man Romance (Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain Book 1)
Taking A Step Back To Get Their Forever Ford had sworn off relations since he became a single dad and because of this, the only woman in his life was his best friend Luna. On the other hand, Luna had decided to take a break from relationships, after the disaster that was her most recent relationship. The moment Luna was in trouble, Ford stepped in to keep her safe and try to resolve the issue. Spending time together highlighted their attraction for each other, but they were unsure of acting on it. It took them spending time apart and the intervention of a precocious child, for them to get their act together and embrace their feelings towards each other.
I really enjoyed the journey Kaci Rose took me on with this story, which kept me glued to the pages and made it difficult for me to take a break once I started. It was a worthwhile read and I will be happy to recommend it.
I read both books in the collection individually and I can definitely confirm you will truly enjoy reading them and be happy to recommend it.

I really liked how the beginning of this story picks up from the ending January is for Jackson, the first book in the series. There is some character cross-over which also includes introducing a couple new men of Mustang Mountain, just so you can get an idea of who is getting their stories in future books. I am enjoying this series and hope to be able to read all of them over the year.

This set contains the first two books in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. My individual reviews are below for the two books included.
January Is For Jackson is Book 1 of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. It's a short and steamy OTT, mutual pining, forced-proximity, one-bed, slight age-gap, curvy girl gets her brother's best friend romance. Emma is a 25 year old sweet and curvy girl who recently lost her job. She decides to surprise visit her older brother, Miles, in Mustang Mountain only to find out he's not home. Jackson is a hunky, grumpy mountain man and Miles' best friend. He has crushed on Emma for years, unbeknownst to her. When he finds her at Miles' cabin, he offers for her to stay with him. Things end up getting hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y, but what will Miles say? These two had great chemistry, and after a bit of angst, we do get a happy ending. I can't wait to read Ford's book next.
February Is For Ford Is Book 2 of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. It's a short and steamy OTT, friends-to-lovers, forced-proximity, curvy girl gets her mountain man romance. Luna is a sweet and curvy kindergarten teacher. Ford is a hunky single dad to the adorable Izzy and has been Luna's best friend since childhood. When Luna's house is broken into, Ford has her stay with him and Izzy. The two start to see each other as more than friends, and it gets hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y on Valentine's Day. Ford was so sweet with her. They had great chemistry, and we got a happy ending after some angst and drama. I can't wait to read Miles' story next.
I loved this two-book box set with stories from two of my favorite authors.
January is for Jackson is short, hot, and super sweet. I loved how Emma asked for what she wanted and took a chance despite how scared she was. Jackson’s emotional turmoil is palpable—caught between a rock and a hard place and faced with having to choose between the two people he loves the most. Jackson and Emma are epic together, and I appreciated the drama in the background without it taking over everything. Ruby is dynamic—I can’t wait to see how her character develops as the series progresses. Such a fun intro to this series!
February is for Ford is a short and sweet best friends novella. Ford and his daughter Izzy are just so adorable. As a single dad, he has made his life about his daughter, and she is so well-adjusted and kind. Luna is Izzy’s teacher, Ford’s life-long best friend, and a perfect match. They are the sweetest family unit. The drama that throws them closer together is entertaining, and I love how Ford takes the steps necessary to work through his fear and get to a place of acceptance and love. Ruby’s antics are funny and brilliant yet again, and I can’t wait to see what else she involves herself in!

WOW! Double the reading enjoyment with great writing and sexy mountain men! This is such a fantastic set of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain: Books 1–2 by Kaci Rose and Eve London.
"January is for Jackson" by Eve London is a best friend’s brother, forced proximity romance that begins the journey of the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain. This story features Emma & Jackson who must work through their desire to be together without hurting those close to them.
"February is for Ford" by Kaci Rose is a best friend, single dad romance that continues the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain anthology. This romance features Luna and Ford. These childhood to adult best friends must travel through emotions and intrigue to find that that belong together in more ways than as just friends.
These authors provide an awesome set of reading that has wonderful main and supporting characters, great writing, romance, and steam. They also do a fantastic job of providing the transition for the next couple’s story to take place. I highly recommend.

This box set includes the first two books in the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. January is for Jackson: Eve London When Emma decided to surprise her brother with a visit for his birthday she never expected to be stranded there in the middle of a snowstorm with his best friend Jackson. Jackson is a sexy mountain man and comes to the rescue of Emma by taking her to his cabin to wait out the storm and things take a steamy turn. January is for Jackson is a curvy girl/mountain man steamy start to the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series, and I can't wait to read the rest of this multi-author series. The writing is well done, the characters are likable, and the story is packed with steam, humor, romance, and a great ending. February is for Ford: Kaci Rose Ford and Luna are childhood best friends who find love with each other as adults. Things take a friends to lovers turn when she calls him for help. February is for Ford is a sweet romance between best friends and a great addition to the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I loved this series when I first started reading it, though I missed a few books here and there. So I was happy to get my hands on this set because I'd missed book one. This set includes:
"January is for Jackson" by Eve London "February is For Ford" by Kaci Rose
In "January," I loved both Emma and Jackson. A fun close proximity romance thanks to a snowstorm, and a best friend's little sister trope. The chemistry between them sizzled.
And here is my original review for "Ford:"
I really enjoyed this book. It wasted no time getting to the action when Ford gets a panicked phone call from Luna telling him her house was broken into. He and the guys immediately go to help her, and she goes him with him. I loved the relationship between Ford and Luna. They have such a strong friendship, and Ford bringing Luna into his home in her time of need was just the catalyst to bring them together and for him to realize he loved her. I enjoyed it and can't wait to read Miles' book. 4 stars.
Welcome to Mustang Mountain, where the mayor's wife has a master plan to marry off the hot mountain men, and bring more people to their little town in the process. And none of the guys are happy about it. Jackson found his friend's sister, Emma, at his house in a snow storm. He let her stay with him, but her brother would not be happy if he knew the thoughts Jackson was having about her. Ford has been in love with his best friend, Luna, for years. When her house is broken into, he'll do anything to protect her, including moving her in with him and his daughter. These guys may not want to get set up with someone, but they have no problem going all in with the woman they love. Oh, these were so good. Nothing like a grumpy mountain man getting all sweet and protective and - gasp! - happy for his girl. The harder the shell, the softer the center! These guys were great. And the best part is, they're just the first two in the series. So many more to look forward to!

Both of these novellas are fantastic. January is for Jackson is a brother's best friend trope with unrequited crush threads. Emma goes to visit Miles for his birthday but ends up having to stay with Jackson when he's not home. February is for Ford goes with a best friends to more theme (that is a sure winner with me). Throw in little Izzy and that picture is complete. Luna's home gets burglarized and she stays with Ford while the guys secure it and get it repaired. She stays twhile they try to catch the culprit. There are shenanigans going on around town that arc through both these stories (and I assume continue into the ready of the series). They will definately keep the men of Mustang Mountain on their toes, and you greatly entertained. You'll love all the wonderful, colorful characters in this small mountain town.
I voluntarily reviewed a gift copy of this book. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
Jackson- Emma thought she would surprise her brother at his mountain cabin only she was surprised when he wasn't there and a snow storm was on the way. Jackson likes the quite life in the mountains but when he spots Emma outside his best friends cabin he knows shes the one for him but can he admit if to himself, Emma and his best friend? Well written steamy mountain man, brothers best friend romance
Ford- Ford had loved Luna for years, but knew all they could be was friends. When Lunas house gets broken into he demands Luna come live with him and his daughter till they catch whose done it, but is staying close going to bring them even closer or further apart? Well written steamy friends to lovers Mountain romance.

Book 1: Emma had no idea when she went to surprise her brother his best friend was going to be what she finds. They end up stranded in and temptation is overwhelming. This is such a cute short book with lots of steam and a whole lot of heart.
Book 2: Luna and Ford have been inseparable for years about the same amount of time they’ve had feelings for each other without saying it. When she runs to Ford for help after her house is broke into. All kinds of things come to light when Ford and his friends begin to uncover whose behind this, more than then just the intruder will be discovered. I love this series of short undeniable love stories. Mustang Mountain is a fantastic series I can’t wait to read the next books in this series.

Great new series..interesting to see how the months will be going by, especially with Ruby trying to play matchmaker. Short, sexy storyline. January's couple is a best friend's sister. Complicated and directed by Emma's brother. Bro code and all that. February's couple is a slow burn, best friends since school days. Protective male and gentle girl, teacher to the dingle father's 5 years old daughter. He jumps to attention when her house is broken in go and vandalised. Living in his house has its moments, but it won't be lasting if Ford doesn't shape up. Two of my favourite authors.. they write short stories, in the equivalent style of a longer one...interesting and enjoyable reading, with the obligatory HEA.

Loved this two book collection: This is the start of Eve London and Kaci Rose’s Mustang Mountain book series. So far they have done 3 years of a release every month. And they are still going strong! ❤️
January is for Jackson and February is for Ford are the first books in the series and they were amazing to read. Mountain Men fall hard and fast!
-January is for Jackson I loved Emma’s introduction to the community wolf, Hades. He’s a reoccurring character in all the books. I enjoyed the two’s banter and the forced proximity, brother’s best friend tropes in the book.
-February is for Ford Ford is tricked into Valentine’s Day dinner with his best friend. I love this trope and Luna is perfect for him and his daughter.
A great read and a beautiful introduction to the series. Flirting and spice and although the next book is set up, each story is a stand alone.
This is books 1 & 2 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain by Eve London.
The 1st book is January: this is Jackson and Emma's story. She is stranded in a snowstorm when Jackson, (her brother’s best friend) finds her and offers her shelter. Their chemistry is undeniable , but will Jackson enforce the Bro code or will he follow his heart?
The 2nd read is February: this is Ford and Luna's story. She turns to her best friend, Ford, after she is break-into. She no longer feels safe and secure so she moves in with him and his daughter. But when their undeniable chemistry kicks in, they must confront their feelings and decide whether fight for the love or let it pass them by.

Brilliant start, I love a boxset collection but having a duo works just as well. Not as overwhelming as a full on 12 book set.
January for Jackson is by Eve London and Dylann Crush. Great series opener with Jackson and Emma a brothers best friend off limits romance, little age gap and long term crushes romance with mild angst of will they won't they make it against the odds.
February for Ford is by Kaci Rose. The second installment has us following Ford and Luna a childhood friends to lovers, single dad, close proximity romance with some mild angst of Ford saying he'd never commit to anyone else.
Emma & Jackson, Luna & Ford these 2 couples are fantastic in Books 1 and 2 of Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain. Kaci and Eve have the fantastic ability to weave the story line in such a way as to not catch that a different author is writing the other book. They're a fantastic duet and I love reading books by either author and this two book set is no difference. Both stories are fantastically written with so much character development packed into shorter reads. You actually feel like you're on the mountain with these characters and that you really know them. Amazing job!!!.

Great quote - "Looks like the only thing hard right now is you."
Book #1, January is for Jackson. Jackson became Ruby's man of the month. Emma is Miles little sister.
Book #2, February is for Ford. Ford has the dubious honor of representing February in Ruby's scheme. Luna is a kindergarten teacher.
Tropes: Small town, best friend's sister, fish out of water, forced proximity, only one bed, rescue, secret crush, mountain man, damsel in distress, friends to lovers, single dad, HEA romance.
A huge thank you to Eve London, Kaci Rose and Booksprout for providing me with an eARC book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Sweet little stories. Emma and Jackson meet again when she comes to her brother for help in deciding what to do next. He's not there, but Jackson takes her in until her brother can come home. Living together for a few days, developing deeper feelings for each other, they need to decide whether they want to be together long term. Ford and Luna have been best friends since childhood. When Luna's house is broken into, she stays at Ford's house until they can discover who did this. Acknowledging deeper feelings for each other and acting on them is the next step if they are brave enough to speak from the heart.
This two book bundle brings us January is for Jackson. Emma finds herself stranded in a snowstorm and reluctantly takes shelter with Jackson, her brother’s best friend. Their forced proximity ignites undeniable chemistry, but Jackson must decide whether risking their friendship is worth following his heart.
The second read is February is for Ford. Luna turns to her best friend, Ford, after a break-in shakes her sense of security. Moving in with him and his daughter feels unexpectedly right, but when their friendship takes a romantic turn, Ford must confront his long-held feelings and fight for the love he’s always wanted.
January - Emma may be there to visit her brother but is "saved" just in time by Jackson. February - Luna and Ford have been best friend for years, until something happens to make him realise just what she means to him and his young daughter. Two quick and easy reads, steamy and sweet with brother's best friend, single father and forced proximity. Gotta love a story that includes the word "shenanigans". 😅.

“Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain: Books 1 & 2” by Kaci Rose and Eve London
-A steamy double dose of mountain men, featuring forbidden love and friends-to-lovers tropes. I received a free copy of this book and am freely sharing my honest opinion. The books I’m reviewing today is titled, Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain, Books one and two written by Eve London and Kaci Rose. Two intriguing stories from the Mountain Men of Mustang Mountain book series. The two books are January is for Jackson by Eve London which couples are Jackson and Emma; the second one is February is for Ford by Kaci Rose which couples are Ford and Luna. Both books are well written with very solid storylines and happily ever after.

This book contains two stories: January is for Jackson, where Emma is fired and decides to visit his brother for his birthday, and she finishes sharing a cabin with her brother’s best friend. February is for Ford, where Luna’s house is broken into, and she finishes sharing a cabin with her best friend, Ford, and his young daughter. Both of them are short and entertaining. They have lovely characters, a sweet dog and a very intelligent wolf. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
