When things go awry, Karen is certain that it's all over for the two of them. Her wolf is far more unpredictable than anyone ever thought. Will Carter punish her for her insubordination, or will she have to pay with her body?

This is a short story, does not end in a cliffhanger, and can be heard as a standalone.

So part two....ok so I finally have a comparison for these stories...you know that 1/2 hour long show you love to watch each week and though each episode completes a story line you can't wait for next week to see what happens next? That's these stories. This one like the first had a beginning, a middle, and an end but you still know the story isn't over. We start with our sexy Regional Alpha trying to figure out how to keep his new playmate after her brother shows up sooner than expected to bring her home. Using the excuse of wanting to see if his presence will effect her shifting he convinces the brother to let her stay even though shifting with a strange pack can be unsafe. So what will happen during the full moon? Will she even be able to shift?
For me this was a fun hot read that left me wanting more which I think is important in a continuing series. The more I read the more I recommend you do to!!!

Howard Needham went to pick up his sister Karen but Carter didn’t want to lose her so he told Howard that he needed more time to observe how Karen shifts. Karen was disappointed because she thought that she had more time with Carter and was afraid that she could not shift with Carter’s pack. The full moon came. It was dangerous to Karen and Carter was ready to protect her. This second part was short with very hot scenes and surprises for Karen. The plot kept my interest because Karen’s situation among a full shifters’ pack and Kenny’s role? There was something that made me suspicious. Good story. Waiting for the next part.

so good...until the end.

I was really liking the book, but then the ending was horrible. I know there is a book three, but the ending of this book did not get me excited. It was rushed and really flat. I felt like this could have ended the series, that's how blasé it was. Is this story going to turn into one big wolf orgy now? Kenny was way too creepy. And the way Carter responded was creepy and douchy.

Part Two - even hotter than Part One! Carter and Karen's relationship has changed into something "more," but more what? Things are quite complicated in K. Matthew's werewolf world - mating doesn't seem to be monogamous. I loved Karen's wolf - so cute, and so ornery, and Carter's wolf handled her nicely. Looking forward to the next part, and hopefully some resolution.
I'm taking away one star for the length - I don't mind short, but this is a bit much.

Intense, hot and fast paced

This second part was a seamless continuation from the first. The action kept the story moving, it is building up to something. I just bought book three. Did I mention that it is hot? I This is a really good storyline, don't miss out!

Each story in this series is a quick, very enjoyable erotica read. Well-written and fast-paced, the stories are interesting, captivating, emotional, sensual, romantic, with some angst and drama thrown in. A definite must-read.

Great

I enjoyed the animal to human love scenes. The intrigue of the Lycan clan being a possible danger and the Alpha protecting his new mate at all cost! I gave the 5 star rating because the read just flowed.
