I loved this book! Even if it was a little Jessica Fletcher and Cabot Cove. The suspense was well done, even though I didn't love the ending where the h decides to confront the suspect on her own (and do not accept food or drink from this person! You suspect them of murder!) I hope there will be more down the line?
Ginnie's husband died a few years ago. He was hit by a car and killed. It's unsolved.
She runs a dating agency, Blynde Dating (love it!), and sets up new member Seth with a wealthy widow, Azalea. She's attracted to Seth, but isn't ready to date again. Especially a client. Her dead husband cheated on her.
Azalea goes missing after the date with Seth and so the police investigate. Seth confesses that he is attracted to Ginnie and that's what he told the widow.
Azalea's son keeps coming to Ginnie for help, for comfort, etc. There's a lot of suspects, including Azalea's friends.
Ginnie gets involved in the ransom demand. Alas, Azalea is dead. So Ginnie decides to investigate to help Azalea's son.
I loved that you're not quite sure who the murderer could be. And there's a twist with Seth I wasn't expecting. I was a bit mad at Ginnie for how she treated Seth, but I also get it. Her husband lied, so she felt betrayed.
As I said, I didn't love that Ginnie decided to confront a suspected murdered ala Poirot with no police present. Hopefully she learned her lesson and will not do that again. Because it nearly ended badly. I did not see the twist with the murderer coming. I was hoping the murderer was behind Ginnie's husband's death. I still suspect that.
It was great! Plus, I loved Ginnie's co-workers at the agency. All really great. I hope we get books about them too.

Perfect title for this suspenseful, romantic mystery! So many twists and turns plus some very interesting characters make this a thoroughly enjoyable story!
Regina Blynde owns a very successful dating agency that she built from the ground up, running it from her home until she expanded the business to the point of needing to hire employees. While her staff is very competent in the areas they were hired for, she still handles many one-on-one initial interviews with potential candidates to match with others.
When Seth Updike walks into her office to be matched, although she’s been alone for several years, Regina’s pulse speeds up. Her strong resolve to keep things strictly professional is…tested.
Dutifully, she matches him to Azalea, a wealthy widow, arranging for them to meet soon. When Regina gets a call the morning after his date with Azalea from Azalea’s adult son, inquiring about Azalea’s whereabouts, the mystery begins.
There are a lot of intriguing characters along with Regina and Seth…all of whom play a part in this mystery and will keep you in suspense!
