I love books about the paranormal and supernatural world, serial killers, and vigilante justice. In Killer Of Killer: Visions, we have all of those elements. Kalen is a normal man, with a wife and child, but he also has visions of killers. His visions are of the past and the future and when he sees a killer, they become his target. Makes me think of Dexter…and I love him.
Kalen had lost the only person who showed him love when he was a child, and each killer he seeks out helps to make up for the pain he had suffered…until he came across a killer known as BTK. Could he have a connection to his past?
Once I started Killer Of Killers by Charles Welch, I didn’t want to stop. I was drawn into Kalen’s life and wondered what would happen if his wife found out. The story moved at a steady pace, the suspense building as it unfolds. I didn’t anticipate the ending, but I love it. Surely makes the opportunity for future novels possible.

This is such an original idea. What if someone was so sick of serial killers that he went out and hunted them down and killed them? There are more of them out there than you like to believe, and rarely are they caught. If they are, they might get sentenced to mental institutions for claims of childhood abuse causing their adult behavior, rather than getting the death penalty they might deserve. The main character in this book takes the legal system out of the equation and is judge and jury himself. Does this make him as bad as the men he tracks down or is he a good man helping out the best way he can? It is an interesting question.

Kalen is not your every day hero. His abusive childhood has shaped him into the person he is today; a serial killer who only kills other killers. He never strays from this path. He often gets random visions, of events that have either already happened, or are about to happen. Sometimes these visions help him to track down a killer and sometimes they help him to stop a murder from happening. I think of him as something like the bastard son of Dexter Morgan; another killer of killers. The book was well written and the characters well rounded. The ending has an opening for the next book in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and found the plot very thrilling and gripping. If you enjoy reading books about a killer with a conscience, then this book is for you.

Clever and imaginative! A very well-written book with wonderfully-interesting characters. The suspense builds at just the right pace as the story unfolds. Kept me intrigued from the first page to the last. Simply a GREAT read! Worthy of your TBR list.

A fast paced crime thriller with a twist. Kalen has a hidden talent, he has " the sight ",his visions come to him in clarity and gives him enough to track the killer and dispense retribution. Well developed characters, and a well thoughtful story line. Twisted without being graphic, interesting premise. I'll be reading more of this story!

Excellent book
Well written and kept me reading. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a good mystery with a little mind bending thrown in as well.

Surprisingly Good!
I was putting off reading this series because I've never really been a fan of Dexter and didn't watch the show so I assumed this wouldn't be my cup of tea...but as I am stuck between a rock and a hard place being that I am running out of books to read from this author I kind of had no choice lol.I reminded myself that I didn't think I would like Laughers but I ended up loving it.Definitely glad I went ahead and started this series because it was a good read for sure.I am invested completely.On to the next book!

Kalen McDonald is a family man with a wonderful wife and son, a successful real estate agent, and…...a serial killer. Since a young age, Kalen has had visions of serial killers and their victims. What differs from Kalen’s killings is that he only dispatches the bad guys. Unfortunately for him, someone has set his sights on his family. Major faux pas! I loved this book. It was entertaining in a very creepy way. The storyline keeps you enthralled and the characters, especially Kalen, are very well written. I will definitely pick up the next book in this series.

The main character in the series of books is definitely different that the typical spies or mobsters or detectives or other who are most frequently written about. And it won’t surprise The Reader to know this series is roughly patterned off of the ‘Dexter’ TV show — so, realistically, if you like one, you’ll like the other!

Well written spinel tingling thrillers of a serial killer of a killers. Kalen at young age of 10 lost his mother and had to stay with the abuse boyfriend as they had nobody else just him an his sister abbey.
The concept of getting into a mind of a killer or killers is vision a hair raising spinal tingling intense graphic story that draws you in right away from sad began until the end.

A new twist on serial killers!
I enjoyed this first book in the series and will definitely read the next one. The theme is more about justice in the eyes of a man with an unusual ability to find other killers. I recommend this book because it doesn’t dwell on the brutality as most of this genre does.

I was not sure what I would be getting into with this book. The description sounded fun, but it could also turn out to be graphic and overdone. It is neither. The author does a good job of setting the mood and developing the characters without getting too deep into the details. This isn't a deep and enthralling read, but it is fun.

A different kind of vigilante book. Kaylen has had visions ever since he was young. He killed his stepfather after his stepfather, killed his sister. He kept having visions about killers and the act of upon them. Took her one in for this book. There are violent episodes, murder, and other atrocities. I recommend this book for readers with a strong stomach.

Good one! A murderer killing other murderers.
So, our "hero" has visions to help him track down serial murderers. A little different and does keep you interested throughout. A new character introduced near the end should add another dimension for future books in the series.

Not a Christmas Story
I expected this tale to get more morbid, I’m glad it didn’t . Reminded me of Roy Teel stories. My biggest complaint is ending with a cliff hanger, but suspect I know the next killer.

High octane for any horror reader!!
What an exciting time I had reading this book! It was very tense at times, but like Spiderman, he works it out in the end! Very satisfying reading! Now, on to the next book!

Loved these two books. What an interesting and different take on a serial killer book but having one who does goes good. Great character development and great story line. Kept me awake late at.night to keep reading.

A interesting view on vigilante justice . I agree with the idea of not keeping killers in prison and delaying the death . The visions in the book make sure the killer is guilty while many times the courts set them free and they kill again. If only a psysic ability like this could be true.

This story snagged you from page one. It was hard to believe that this character could lead a normal life and be a killer also.. His vision helped him get the other killers. Good read!

Love the concept
The author creates a character that most of us can sympathize with even if we can't say it out loud. We can root for him to take out the bad guy and not get caught.

I read the 9th book in the series and decided I liked it enough to start at the beginning. This book was a good foundation to the characters and how Kalen became the Killer of Killers. Still think it's a cool concept for a book and would make a good movie.
