I have two dogs that are spoiled rotten. I'm a believer in dreams coming true and I love all things book related. This past year I got to meet my favorite romance author and see Broadway, a dream of mine since I was a little girl.

Tell me, what dreams have you made come true of your own?

REVIEW NOTE: I’m just going to mark this DNF at 26%/Chapter 8 because that’s where I was when I stopped last night. This morning I received a note from the tour presenter that the book was now “on hold” for additional editing and a 3rd ARC would be sent. I was currently reading the 2nd ARC sent out as the 1st also apparently had issues. I don’t know what’s going to be changed and what’s not, but I don’t really have time for reading multiple copies so here’s my review thus far based off what I read:

Mason’s raising his younger sister after the loss of their parents and works at a dating service while completing his MBA. Rayleigh’s friend (who apparently has $600 to spare) signs her up for said dating service. The ad for Tailor-Made promises:

“In addition, you even get to dress them, choosing from one of several outfits. Want him in a tuxedo with a bowie? Or do you like a more artistic flair with skinny jeans, a t-shirt, and a beanie? He wears what you request. Don’t forget, you’re the mastermind behind our men.”

As I was reading this I couldn’t help but feel as if I’ve done this before.

I went on-line—Check.
I picked the outfits—Check.
I gave him a name—Check.

But I had the option to leave him bare too!

Oh wait, that was Build-a-Bear!

Anyways, this was one of several clues that I’m too old for this book because I’m past my dating days (online dating was a scary new thing back then), and when I’m custom fluffing something it’s a stuffed animals for my kids, not a stranger/man.

The next clue came when Rayleigh monologues,
“I always feel a little awkward on the phone. I really hate talking on it. All this information can be sent through text…”

Back in my day, girls were the masters at chatting, holding up the phone lines for hours. (Ya know because back then the family had a landline home phone that everyone used.) But we perfected a very valuable skill that apparently this generation is lacking—the ability to hold a conversation.

Rayleigh also didn’t win any points with me when she admits to letting men control her and foolishly hoping that she can change them. While the initial premise projects a light-hearted tale, more serious issues are woven in a few chapters later. Now suddenly we don’t just have a heroine with a lousy dating history but one who’s broken and has triggers. The mixed tone of the story didn’t work for me.

The characters, while assumedly in their twenties, project a very young (maybe even immature) vibe. As of right now, based off the seven chapters I read, this story should be categorized as Young Adult. I think that is the correct genre for it. I also notice other reviews mention there’s no sex, which seems a bit unrealistic since the characters are not virgins. And let’s be honest, a contemporary romance without sex can be pretty unentertaining.

Point is, if it’s a clean romance it should probably be noted in the blurb as it will go a long way in attracting the correct audience.

I love supporting new authors so felt honoured to read Tashas debut novel.

This is a story about a unique dating agency "Taylor Made" where you choose every little detail to make it perfection.

All that goes out the window for Mason when his date is non other than the workaholic and unlucky in love Rayleigh.

Rules are bent, broken and thrown away making the night more than just a paid date.

I won't go any further the rest is for you to find out but this story to me is a dance of the heart with complications of the past interfering.

Both Mason and Rayleigh are loveable characters. I did want to throw my phone at Peter though eugh what a .....

If you, like myself, love romance books then give this a try I think you will enjoy it

3.5 Stars-A Little YA for Me

For her debut book, Tasha Lewis did a nice job creating Tailor Made. I was hooked by the blurb, eager to meet these characters.

After a few chapters, I wasn't sure about Mason and Ray right off the bat, as these two were nursing some heavy-duty personal problems, that were definitely going to get in the way of any sort of relationship. Besides the fact that Mason was paid to go on dates. If that isn't a buzzkill, I don't know what is.

These two crazy kids meet, have some insta-feelings going on and proceed to try and navigate their lives with the crazy around them. It was fun for a minute, then got repetitive and a little boring. There was no spark with this couple, no angst, it was some sort of a cookie cutter relationship. More friends than lovers for sure.

The book was chock full of details we didn't need, all the way down to what brand and type of phone Ray's friend used. Tasha Lewis has something going on here, it's cute, however too YA for my liking with the ages these characters are portrayed. We get a long drawn out start and a rush to the finish line. Tailor Made reads as a standalone.

Tailor Made is the debut of Tasha Lewis and I truly cannot believe this is her first book! I was hooked on Rayleigh and Mason’s story from the first chapter and honestly, did not put the book down until the very end.

Rayleigh’s passion is painting but she’s currently unhappy with her work and love life. Tailor Made, a dating site where you custom design your ideal man, is suggested as a pick me up by Rayleigh’s friend and she decides to take a chance. Little does she know what’s waiting for her…

Mason is a busy guy. Raising his sister after a tragedy takes their parents, Mason is working on his degrees, a full time job and has no time for a relationship. In comes Tailor Made, owned by Mason’s aunt, and he has the best of both worlds. Dating beautiful woman with no commitment.

When the two of them meet for their date, you quickly realize how Mason and Rayleigh are just destined to be. I really fell in love with these two characters and the sweet romance that plays out between them. Both of them had their issues, which made my heart break, but I also knew that meant they were perfect to heal each other. A sweet and romantic story was just what I needed!

I truly enjoyed every moment of this book and look forward to so much more from Tasha Lewis!

Tailor made is a completely unique sweet love story. Quickly capturing my attention from the very start. I soon found myself completely wrapped up on Mason and Rayleigh’s story obviously to the world around me. With a very intriguing blurb I wasn’t sure what I would be in for when starting this book, but I knew I had to read it and I’m so glad I did! This book is overflowing with sweet romance, captivating characters, and heartfelt emotion.

An intriguing mix of instalove, yet a slow burn build to the actual relationship Rayleigh and Mason were a couple I spent most of the book cheering for. Their instant connection held back by so many obstacles but still incredibly deep. These two kept me on edge cheering for them to get their happily ever after. Even with the hurdles set before them they still managed to be so adorably sweet together.

Tailor Made
Tasha Lewis
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I truly enjoy finding and readers new authors. And I was given the opportunity to read Tailor Made, Tasha Lewis’ debut novel , and as I was hoping it was great. Everything I expected and more. She has some real talent with writing that with time will only excel. I expected a story about the company, but instead it was the individual break down of each character that hooked me. I felt I knew these 2 and the other lead roles, I felt their pain, their excitement, their ups and of course downs…

Tailor Made is a company that create perfect dates for women who need that perfect man arm candy. It belongs to Mason St Claire’s aunt, so he has a role there. Where a woman can choose her exact date, his looks, his name, his close, this is the perfect date option. Once his parents died Mason, was left bring up his little sister, Shelby so needing something that could work around his study and full time job, this was meant to be a no strings job to bring in extra money…. He never imagined that one date could change everything.

Rayleigh has some serious bad history when it comes to dating, but after a long dry spell her best friend sets her up with a date through Tailor Made. After second guessing she goes ahead with it, choosing her man and the perfect date. From 1st glance she knew this date wouldn’t be normal. Her date is nothing like she imagined and the pair take a trip down memory lane. She soon discovers who Mason really is, the feeling are very similar in his side. That one fake date will throw them into a future neither can grasp or comprehend.

Both Mason and Rayleigh come from haunted, broken backgrounds making them the perfect couple, but with his contract with Tailor Made and her insecurities, they will question and oust aside all their feelings. Knowing you’ve found the one should be easy, but hiding behind fear only compounds it. Both Mason and Ray will have to work together for a future, but not without a mountain of hurdles first. Love will persist if that person is Tailor Made for you.

I look forward to more from this author.

A Perfect Friends to more....

Okay so her friend seriously had some kind of warped sense of humor; wanting to set her up on a date through some kind of service.
But she had to be honest all the guys she ever dated weren't the cream of the crop and they went from bad to worse.
That's why she done being a doormat.
Still she most have joined her crazy band- wagon to even consider trying.
He had an actual real job however his Auntie's dating service allowed him to meet all kinds of women without the expectations of more because Mason wasn't looking for any kind of commitment.
She was living on a shoe-string budget and quite frankly she wasn't sure how much longer she'd have the job she did have; because her boss was the ultimate zilla.
So she kept waiting tick-tock.
However she finally gave in to her friend's constant nagging insistence about the dating site.
And surprisingly she had a really good time but unfortunately she was now paying; because she hasn't finished all the things her boss assigned to her.
Mason had meet many kinds of women but the one he was taking out tonight was a real Lulu with an attitude of a spoiled five year old; and then she had the nerve to ask for something she darn well knew wasn't allowed.
Tonight should have been her's to bask in total success; but nope her boss unceremoniously yanked the rug out from under her with absolutely no explanations.
But sometimes you have to search for the proverbial silver lining because as difficult as this might seem; it could be just what you needed all along.
To bad he had to over react to an obviously simple situation and now Mason realized his sister was right that he had some how turned into a world class jerk.
Yeah he knew he needed to do the right thing and make things better between them because as challenging as his life was
and as wishy-washy as he'd been he needed to figure out what he wanted.
And once he did never let her go.

First, I want to thank Tasha Lewis for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.

After reading Tailor Made by Tasha Lewis all I have to say is where do I sign up for my own Tailor Made?! Tasha instantly made me fall head over heals deep in love with everything about Mason in this book!! Tasha’s debut novel was unlike anything I’d read before! The story line was very creative, had a lot of heart, and extremely fun to read. This book will have you smiling ear to ear!

Tasha’s beginning of the book when she wrote “For you believe in yourself dream big achieve”. That made me smile.

This book was so incredibly different than anything out there that I have ever read before. It had moments where I was laughing out loud, It had relatable characters, unique character names, the storyline was so very fresh and unique.

I saw a lot of Rayleigh in me in the fact that I have had not much luck in the men department either. I would pick men like she would and try to change their flaws. Realizing you can’t change anyone and they need to do it for themselves. I would be skeptical of this service just like she was. So, when I say the characters are real and relatable, I mean it.

You could tell by Tasha’s writing style that this book was very near and dear to her heart. She seemed very passionate about many of characters and it came across in the amazing stories.
I wanted to give Mason and Rayleigh a huge hug for they went through on how they both lost their parents.

I loved this quote in the book “I always thought that paperbacks were a dying art, but it always turns out they’re making a comeback. And having the book signed by the author makes the book even more valuable, or so Shelby Insets.”

The close bonds of friendship in this book I loved and admired. The best friendship between Kat and Rayleigh, brother and sister relationship in Mason and Shelby, and the budding relationship in Rayleigh and Mason.

This is the debut book for the author and I have to say that is very interesting and I really enjoyed reading it. I am not a big fan of YA romance and this book doesn’t have much steam but the topics are interesting and got myself into reading it in one sitting.
What I love about Mason? That for him his family comes first as he has to take care of his sister on his own after their parents died , and to secure her future he has taken a job as a paid escort at his aunt company along with his studies for his final year in law school. He is a gentleman at heart and wants to be there for his family and friends
What i love about Rayleigh? That she is independent, she left her parents house although they still need her to help her mother with her younger brother, she was trying to follow her dreams, to pain and become a full time artist but life gets in the way and she has to work hard for a woman that won’t think twice when she fires her although she has made the gala reception to be a success.
Her friend Kat ( which I really want to know more about her story and hopefully she will have her book as i love second chance romance) sets Ray to an online dating site where she can choose whom and how to date.
I liked the writing, the plot, the stories that both come from and what they have to sacrifice to get where they are. I didn’t like that much the fact that they are more friends than anything although I had the feeling that they want more when they had their first meeting but I got lost somewhere on the story and apart from some kissing and a few kisses on the head or forehead, there isn’t much.
Looking forward for more from this author ❤️

Such a fun book with characters you will fall in love with!!! I loved the sweetness and romance that happens between Mason and Rayleigh. These two are perfect for each other!
Rayleigh took a chance and stepped out of her comfort zone. She usually picks a certain type of guy but thanks to Tailor Made, she can pick and choose what she wants in a guy and date. Mason is everything she never knew she wanted or needed. He is smart, charming and caring. He is caring for his teenage sister, while taking college classes and working at Taylor Made, just to make things happen in life. He never thought he'd meet the one through Tailor Made but it happened.
With encouragement from her friend and Mason, Rayleigh is able to accomplish her dreams and make it a reality. Things started falling into place including finally admitting they have feelings for each other.
This book has so many fun characters and romance that's so sweet that you'll fall in love with Mason and Rayleigh. I loved every moment, even the moments when Mason screws up and has to get her back, if this book! We even get a hint of two new couples, one of which i hope they get a book because they have a history that deserves a book! Such a fantastic debut book! I will be looking for more books from author and she has a new fan as well.

Oh my goodness!! I absolutely love the idea of Tailor Made!!!! I jumped at the chance to read this and the fact that I haven’t read this author and I fell in love with her words makes everything just seem awesome! I love new authors and this one knocked it completely out of the park, knocked me on my butt and shot me to the Big Dipper!!! I LOVED IT!!!

I had so many moments when I laughed, swooned and cried!! I’m a big crier and boy was this a good one! (That doesn’t sound like I mean it but the reasons for the cry are horrible and why I cry but I love to feel.) You feel everything is author is trying to connect with each character! I felt the giddiness when “Robbie” and Rayleigh went on their date. I actually wasn’t sure I would like the whole thing of Tailor Made but watching the date happen made me feel inspired. The connection that Rayleigh makes with people is engulfs you into her world. She puts everyone before her and I love that she got to be care free. “Robbie” made me swoon hard and cry and just wish all men were like him. He is a special kind of man!

I loved this story and I these characters so much!!! I hope to see some of the supporting characters in future books!!! 💜💜💜 congrats!!

4.5 Stars for Tasha Lewis’s debut novel Tailor Made, I have to say I would never have dreamed this was her first novel and if this book is anything to go by this very talented author has a very promising future ahead of her.
Tailor Made is a dating site where you custom make your perfect date even down to the name of your perfect man. Rayleigh is not happy, she hates her job and her life is going nowhere so her friend suggests she give the site a chance and see if her perfect date will revitalise her life......
Mason is a guy who never stops he is raising his sister, studying for a degree and has a full time job so when his aunt asks him to be one of the dates on Tailor Made it seems perfect after all he’s not looking for a relationship but that was before he met Raleigh........
This book captivated me it drew me in from the first chapter, I loved the storyline and I adored the characters. This is a sweet romance with a couple who both have issues and at times this book really tugged on my heartstrings but as we know it sometimes takes two broken people to come together to help heal each other. If you love sweet romances please give Tailor Made a try. Congratulations Tasha Lewis looking forward to reading more from you.

I love the idea of the Tailor Made dating site. It was different and refreshing and drew me in. Rayleigh and Mason were super cute together from the start. It was a clean romance with only showing a couple kisses and it really didn’t bug me time I got closer to the end. The whole time in this book they were skirting around each other and it seemed more like friendship then anything else.

The ending (when they finally get together) was very fast paced. It was another aspect on why I felt like I couldn’t see the romance and love that was supposed to be blooming or there. No grand statements of love also took away from it being more then a friendship. That’s how the whole book made it seem sadly.

There were also some plot holes that I noticed in the story. Things didn’t feel completely settled and now after a while since I’ve read it, those questions are still like lingering in my head. Even with all that, I still thought it was a cute sweet read with like drama and friendship. I do want to read the next book which is also about Masons cousin. He was pretty funny in this book. 3 stars #2OCCJD

Dating, who has time for that? Between working and my art, I have room for nothing else. That is until my best friend sets me up on Tailor Made: a website where I can design the perfect guy and my dream date. Crazy? I thought so too. Until he shows up and proves me wrong. It’s supposed to be just one night of fun, but in my life, things rarely go according to plan.

Mason
Working at Tailor Made is the perfect arrangement: all the perks of dating without the commitment. Between school, two jobs and raising my sister, I don’t have time for relationships, nor the demands that come with them. Then a client books me for a night out and I know, one night will never be enough. What’s supposed to be a simple date, just a job, flips my world upside down.

Sometimes the perfect fit comes along when you least expect it.

I loved this book! Would never had guessed it was Tasha's debut book! Beautifully written and heartfelt! Both Mason & Rayleigh had their issues and your heart broke for both of them. Their story flowed nicely and I loved every page! Highly recommend!

This is the first book by Tasha I have read. I enjoyed it so much. This book has an interesting concept. A dating site no sex. You choose your perfect date and the guy you choose takes you on it. He is the perfect gentleman. Rayleigh’s friend buys her date. All she has to do is decide what she wants and when she wants to date to happen. Mason doesn’t really need to money but it will help his sister with college. When Mason shows up to take Rayleigh on their date there is just something about her. He asks to change up their date and she doesn’t mind. There is an instant connection between them. But Mason is under contract with Tailor Made. I couldn’t but this book down once I started. Mason and Rayleigh are fantastic. This book is a bit emotional at times. Neither Mason or Rayleigh are in a place for a relationship. Mason is still holding onto some baggage. Rayleigh has some issues as well. I couldn’t get enough of them. This book had a distinct Hallmark movie feel to it. I look forward to reading the next book.

Tailor Made is a great debut book by Tasha Lewis that hooked me from the start! Rayleigh is stuck in a job that she doesn't like. She hasn't been able to paint, which is her passion, in a long time. Down on her luck in both her career and her love life her friend hooks her up with this dating site where you design your own man. Who wouldn't love that? A chance for a man to give you exactly what you want? Sign me up!
Mason is a young man responsible for raising his little sister after a tragedy that takes their parents. He's juggling finishing his degrees, a full time day job and being both mom and dad to a teenage girl leaving him no time for relationships. Instead of trying to date he becomes part of his aunts design a date company Tailor Made. You pick him and create how you want him to be.
When Mason meets Rayleigh he quickly throws all the prearranged plans out the window and decides to give her what he thinks she really needs. You quickly fall in love with these two characters. Its a sweet romance that makes it so you can't help but care for Mason and Rayleigh along with everyone else you meet. Of course there are some bumps along the way and obstacles to overcome on their way to a HEA. But thats what makes it even better. Who doesn't want a man to tell you "I've got you." ? I can't wait to see what else she writes and hopefully read more about the people of Tailor Made!!!

As a debut this was a nice read. The concept was an interesting one with Rayleigh so busy working for romance or dating so her best friend purchases her a date through Tailor Made - really generous friend. Her date is Mason, who instantly feels something for her and gives her the best possible date. For him, she is the one but his commitment to Tailor Made means that he can't have a relationship with her until his contract comes to an end. This was very sweet in terms of the story and the way that he romances her. However, sometimes felt like the author was artificially creating conflict out of nothing and it felt forced at times.

Although it was a little rough around the edges I found myself warming to the characters despite their idiotic choices at times. Yes it was at times frustrating but I genuinely wanted these two to find their HEA together.

Sweet Story

This is a great debut story and is a standalone contemporary romance told from duel POVs.

Mason is working two job, takes care of his sister, attends classes and works for Tailor Made
(a dating service). He has no time left for commitment and feelings.

Rayleigh is working at Premier Event and Catering for the she-devil, while putting her dreams of being an artist on hold. Dating – who has time for that?

Mason and Rayleigh’s story had me from the first pages. They are two real characters with a touch of insta love. I enjoyed the fact that they just didn't fall into an easy relationship. They both feel “something”, but they had to work for this relationship and push through their thoughts and feelings. Even with their tragic pasts I was hoping and cheering that they were meant to heal each other.

Hoping to see more from this author, as I would like to see more from the secondary characters.

I received the First ARC of Tailor Made when Tasha wrote it the first time. She informed everyone that she was going to hold it back and make some adjustments to the book. If you follow her on social media like I do you would know it killed her to hold it back and she was devastated so I decided not to read the ARC I received.
This was a long journey for her witch in some of her posts on Facebook she says she learnt a lot out of her experience.
But like WOW.. This book was mind blowing. This book needs a 10 Star review and you really wouldn't say this is her debut novel because she is a natural at writing.. I read this book 4 times and it still leaves me speechless.
Tasha did an amazing job at putting this book to life and if you know her story, you would know how much this book means to her and to her readers.
I cant wait to read more of her upcoming books.
But take it from me, This book is a MUST READ!!! You will love it from the begging to the end.

This is my first book I've read of hers. I really enjoyed reading Mason and Rayleigh's story. Every woman wants the perfect guy. What if you could go out on a date with someone and you get to pick every aspect of it from his name to exactly what kind of date you want? Sounds amazing doesn't it? Rayleigh was iffy at first but her best friend insisted she try it out since all she seemed to find we're losers. What she didn't expect was to fall in love at first sight, and she's not the only one. Mason works for Tailor Made, a dating service. He goes on the dates and earns money, that's it. No feelings. No kissing. No more than six hours with your date. That's until his date with Rayleigh. She changed everything for him. This was a story of going for what you want, no matter what. I definitely would recommend this book. 💜💜

So, this book is so interesting. Usually in romance books it's the female in the book in the escort service. This book is the complete opposite. This guy is working for his Aunt who owns Tailor Made. Tailor Made is where women get to be treated like a Queen. The main female character had bad luck after bad luck and her friend told her to try out on Tailor Made. What both of the characters did not know was life was going to change.

So, I am giving this a four because I felt like it was slow in in the character introductions. Then they hit the characters meeting each other and it was instead in love moment. I felt like it rushed the characters into this line of their relationship. That there was no build up and no real conflict throughout this story like a real relationship.

But all in all it wasn't all bad and I really did enjoy the story once that I got into it.

Tailor Made is a great debut novel that pulled me right in with it’s uniqueness. I became invested in these characters from the start and wanted them to have a HEA. Mason and Rayleigh made me giddy especially after their spectacular date. You need to read this book just for the “I’ve got you” alone. The bond between siblings Mase and Shelby just strengthened this story for me. The teasing and witty banter along with the heartbreak and longing gave my heart a whirl and had me engaged with these characters like I was living through it with them. Tasha this book is sweet, savory and full of hope. Thank you for reminding me to chase my dreams and never settle. This story is refreshing and special and Tailor Made with love.

Tailor Made is a sweet novel that pulls at the heartstrings. I really enjoyed Rayleigh and Mason and their relationships with the people closest to them. How often do we read novels where there’s way too much strife between people who should have each other’s backs? Or where the male and female protagonists fight so much you wonder why we’re focused on their story? This story had a strong message of hope and encouragement and I loved that. And this is a debut novel.

Normally, I don’t go for debut novels, but the blurb was too interesting to pass up. This group of characters kept that interest up and reminded me that sweetness is beautiful, too. Then the “I’ve got you” got ME. Yowza.

Great job, Tasha Lewis! I can’t wait for more from you!

Mason has a lot on his plate. He is solely taking care of his little sister after their Mom and Dad pass away. He works a good job but on the side he does Tailor Made for Shelby’s future. Shelby is Mason’s little sister. Rayleigh is a hard working girl who’s best friend is worried about her not having the best pick of boyfriends. She sets up a Tailor Made account for her to have one good date. Mason is the one she picks and their date is incredible. They have great memories of it and want to be more, but Mason has a contact and has to wait till it’s over to be with her. It’s wrong to ask her to wait for him. They want a life together but which one will win. Their heart or money???

3.5 Stars.

I liked that this one had a unique story ~ I love the idea of a "Tailor Made" date. I liked the friendship that developed between Rayleigh and Mason - they were both strong characters that had their share of issues and I enjoyed the fact that they just didn't fall into an easy relationship. I felt there was too much emphasis on the small details that really didn't add to the story. Extra points to Mason for taking such GREAT care of his little sister, that freakin' warmed my heart!

I felt there was too much emphasis on the small details that really didn't add to the story. I feel the ending may have been a like rushed, but overall this was a good debut.

Tailor made is the debut book by Tasha Lewis and i couldn't put it down. It was beautifully written.  Rayleigh works at a job she doesn't like but always makes everything perfect even though her boss is a witch. Her friend set her up on a dating site behind her back to get here out there and live. You literally pick your perfect date down to what they even wear. Mason shows up and everything changes. Literally. The date does a 180 and they go on their first adventure together. These 2 had great chemistry from the start. Even with their ups  and downs these 2 still get through it all. Great 1st book.
