The story itself is fine, could be cleaned up in spots, but acceptable.
Personal choice but I am NOT a fan of 1st person stories in general, this style I found particularly grating.

Editing. You're joking right?

Thoroughly enjoyable story and characters, too many typos.

Typographical errors from beginning to end, many bad enough to abruptly interrupt the flow of the story while you try to figure out what Mr. Coleman was trying to say...but...I enjoyed the characters and story so much I'm still giving it 5 stars. If I could give it 4-1/2 stars I would, but a full star is just too big a penalty for the typos given my overall enjoyment of the book.

While there were numerous typos and other editing errors this could be chalked up to Kindle formatting or lack of an editor. I cannot say for sure. What i can say is that Mr. Coleman truly made me care about his characters and that is not something that happens often. Well done, sir. I look forward to reading more of your work as this book has made me a dedicated fan. I would suggest this book to anyone who is a fan of science fiction and not afraid of a few curse words, sexual situation s, and descriptions of violence.

I am an idiot see the title above for my full review of this book. Again, well done Mr. Coleman.

Action movie for adults

The beginning was a little darker and edgier than I like. Once the initial relationship changes between the two main characters I thought it was better. Exciting thrill ride of a book made of mashed up genres. Post apocalyptic, advanced technology, fantasy 'races,' and a scifi angle wrapped around a momma's boy Robin Hood. Hope there's a sequel.

Very enjoyable story.

Very fast paced and witty. Never a dull moment in this novel. Where the content is good, some extreme editing is needed. Bad spelling, not that I am a good speller or anything. Some wrong word usage, easy to figure out but still distracts from the story at times. Still I did enjoy this book and would recommend.

It grew on me

Three things; first I wasn't really impressed with the start of the book or necessarily the origin story but it grew on me. Second, the author needs to check the editing again because it was awful. Lastly, hopefully the second book will be out soon, like I stated before, it grew on me.

A story worth staying up late for.

The story itself is amazing, the plot wasn't to slow or predictable, and the characters are realistic! My only question is, who is the editor, and did the author pay them well? So many mistakes it set my teeth on edge, even if the mistakes were small and easily overlooked, they detracted from the experience!

I've been reading this genre for years and this book is very refreshing in its storyline, and delivery. I can't wait for the sequel.
