Beautifully described blossoming romance between reporter Robbie and male escort/writer Dario.
He is beautiful, mysterious and incredibly intense and more and more interesting with every layer he shows. A heartbreaking moment robs him of his ex-wife and his child and he cannot put it behind him. Disillusioned, he retreats to the hills of Napa Valley.
She is a professional above all else. Her life consists of work, work and work again. Her chance to have children seems to be slowly passing by. But when she meets Dario and their conversations fill her with joy, there seems to be a chance until she discovers her role in his grief.
Can their emerging love take a beating? But what if this push is too much?
A story with depth where the writer has made an effort to take the writer into the world of her 2 main characters.

I really enjoyed reading The Interview. I like it when I can get lost in the story. I enjoyed all the characters. It was funny, and a feel good story.

Robbie's latest assignment at the lifestyle magazine is to interview Dario, author by day and women's companion by night. As they become friends and more, they are surprised to discover a connection between them, something that may destroy any chance for them to be together. This is a very unique story, and it captured my attention from the first page. I love the chemistry between them. This is my first read from the author, and it's a terrific introduction. I enjoyed this book. One of the things I liked most was the unique storyline. I often read books and I feel like it is the same story over and over, just different character names. That was not the case here. The story is well written with interesting and engaging characters that make you want to keep reading. I enjoyed the book all the way to the end.

Simple yet addicting

It's a narrative that has a little melodramatic reminiscences at times, but the narrative grabbed me and held me through those traumas that create empathy for the two characters of Dario and Robbie.
The story is moving, tender and the evolution of the relationship of the two heroes, of their bond is extremely well described.

Storyline is engaging, very well written.
It just pull you right in. It started with interview about unusual job but page by page tone was changing to more intriguing information.
More hidden secrets were uncovered and the whole situation change .
The feelings come to the surface much more to amazement of this two.
It supposed to be just interview but we ended with HEA.
Great story, definitely recommended.

I was taken by the premise of the story it was quite fresh and captivating . The story was well written, I wasn't really expecting much from this book but I really enjoyed this story. The plot was fresh , the story was interesting and characters were quite engaging. This is the first time I have read this author. would definitely be reading more books by her.

What woman would not fall in love with some like Dario? He is everything a girl could ask for. Any man would be lucky to have someone like Robbie in their life. So it's kismet when the two need to meet, or is it? You get to know the Dario and Robbie fairly quickly, and take to them immediately. From the get go, and you're rooting for them. Excellent world building - with enough detail to paint the picture in your mind. Just right amount descriptions, without unnecessary fillers. It almost feels like you're witnessing an old fashion love story of a girl getting swept off her feet. The chemistry and dynamic is palpable. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends who share the same love of this genre.

Magazine writer Robbie O'Hara is given a writing assignment that could help her get a promotion. Unfortunately, it was as a favor to her boss when the person who was assigned the story got the flu. With no time to prepare, she had to drive to the destination for the interview the next day.
Dario Alvarez is a male escort or companion who has been doing this for 3 years. He is also a best-selling author in his “day job”. He is wealthy and lives on a beautiful estate. She needs to find out why he is an escort when he doesn’t need the extra job, and why will women pay the high price just to be seen with him. His calendar is full through the end of the year already! She has him for 3 days, and her boss says sleeping with him is optional!
As the interview begins, she finds that every bit of the escort money is donated to charity! By lunchtime, she realizes that being with Dario is like hanging out with your best friend. He makes her laugh, has her opening up about her own life, and makes her feel relaxed and welcome. But soon, he will tell her about his own painful past. Their connection deepens.
