I really enjoy reading the stories with Dr. Ilse Beck, and since I read all the books in the series it's rather interesting to understand how the character has evolved and how she has changed since book 1. Not Like Normal has Sawyer being ironic and angry as always and even more silent than normal. The case is a strange one, as victims are having their hair died and moved around in wheelchairs, there are many leads to follow but none produce results as fast as they would like. After many twists and turns, and some broken bones, the culprit is put behind bars. Ilse will finally obtain the answers she needs regarding her life in Germany, and will also discover who, and why she is receiving the postcards. There will be a great change in Ilse's and Sawyer's personal lives. I loved this story and if you enjoy the genre, this is a must-read! I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
Does not use F word but there are other random curse words like damn it or shit. Another good book that pulled me right in and held my interest. Listened at 1.75 speed.
