Change or die.

This is the message of the book. A message distilled from the author's life lessons and experiences. A message that's both deeply personal and universal. Topics like sense of urgency and empty your cup were first lived out and learned, and are thus more meaningful and more impactful to the reader.
That the message is conveyed both in stories and personal anecdotes makes it equally engaging and compelling.
Yes, we all must change. For it is in so doing that we grow to our maximum potential and create the maximum impact on our world. To not do so is to fall into the abyss of mere existence, to die way before our death.
