He tells us that there is more than what we think behind breakups. Sometimes the person whom we believe is a liar might actually be innocent. The author beautifully describes it in this book.

My Ex is the story of a couple who loves each other but one of them is not ready for marriage yet. A twist comes in their life and they separate out. After few years they meet again and one of them has a kid. Its an incomplete short story.
Honestly, I had good expectations but it turned out to be disappointing. It only reminded me a little of Arjun Reddy story(Which is Kabir Singh in Bollywood).
I bought all the 8 e-singles by Ravinder Singh together and regretted after reading this first one. Luckily, only 2 out of 8 stories suck. The others are worth it. Do checkout my other reviews to find which ones are worth it.

Love is a feeling that is part of almost all kinds of relationships. From mother to father, wife to son/ daughter, or brother to sister we see love everywhere. It's an emotion that inspires various stories, novels, movies and even our lives. To some of us love brings pain while for some it brings peace. It has also brought some people to their knees while helped some face their worst fears and win.
Though for some people love is the mushy-mushy butterflies in the stomach kind of feelings, cute teenage crushes while for some it's unhappy memories.
Love being such a sweet emotion has been attracted a lot of writers to weave their exemplary writings around the idea of love. We all have loved someone so much in our lives that it has destroyed us from inside or has left us with a scar and heavy heart with different after effects.
"MY EX" is a story about two lovers who have been together since two years. Vinay, the protagonist, is a guy who feels the rush to get married to his lady love( not just because of pressure from his mother but as he also thinks that it's time for him to take their relationship to next level). While Ishita, her lover is a career oriented woman. The love story unfolds in bits and pieces as Vinay relives his memories of Ishita.
One day at metro station Vinay saw Ishita after 8 years he couldn't muster up the courage to go and talk to her. But to his surprise Ishita comes and meets him. In that moment, Vinay goes down the memory lane and remembers what happened 8 years ago and thinks maybe she has come back to him or they might have a chance. The day when Vinay went to ask Ishita for marriage and gets to know that she's leaving for Kolkata as she got promoted and she's not ready to take their relationship to another level rather she wants to end it. This broke Vinay and he blocked her from everywhere. Though Ishita left him he still longed for her.There comes a time when Ishita agrees to meet Vinay at a restaurant that they used to visit as lovers. Would he be able to get his closure or able to get her back or life has planned something else for Vinay?
To know the end of the story you would have to read it. As you would read, with each line you would feel that it's a moment taken from your own life.

❤️❤️...Everybody has their own perceptions to define "Love" .Some feels it eternal and some feels it quite practical .Some feels it conditional and some contrary to it.The story is about a boy and a girl Vinay and Ishita who fell in love deeply but what happens when their perceptions to fullfill their love differs .Here Ishita , is a modern girl with extraordinary ambitious levels..where as the boy seems quite ordinary who wants to marry his girl.It is a short story with a pack of roller coaster emotions which gives the readers a certain impact to think over uncertainties in love..Some says love makes anyone to become weak emotionally but there are certain people who never changes their emotional levels despite of their depth in love...

My Ex is a beautiful short story. I loved the way emotions are described. It is a short read and hence, one can complete this in few minutes. Within few minutes , authors have described such beautiful emotions by the words that you can literally feel the scenes.
This book revolves around the story of Vinay and her ex, Ishita. It has been 8 years since they both had breakup. Suddenly, Vinay's eyes fell on Ishita in a metro station. Vinay was too happy to see her after years but still he wanted to know the reason for the breakup. This was when Vinay decided to propose her for marriage when they completed their 2years of relationship and she rejected .
Now Ishita is having a daughter but the twist is that she is neither married nor having any boyfriend. This made Vinay in shock. Finally, Vinay decided to let it go and realised that temporary unhappiness is far better than lifelong sadness.

An Ex is a story portraying the situation when Vinay gets a glimpse of Ishita, his ex girlfriend amidst the hustle and bustle of metro railway station. Left in shock, awe and joy, he thought to approach her but instead he chose to time-travel through his terrible past again. When he finally decided that avoidance is the best way to control his emotions, she approached her. He had a good conversation though was in confusion- whether to ask her or not why she left him. Unknowingly, he blurted out what he had buried in his heart in an absurd manner. He got an unexpected answer. What was the answer? Well, it'll be much better if you find it out by yourself.

Ravinder singh never disappoints his readers 🥰😍
Is this really a short story?! OMG😱. I read it today evening along with my workout session. I was taking up my cardio workout(cycling).when I was reading it. So, in this book we came up with the two characters Vinay and Ishita who were broken up some years ago, now they luckily met on the metro station and there question like we all have that why someone rejects my proposal, and at the end Vinay realised that Ishita wasn't loving him the way he loves her.
This is really good but I think that ending should be more good but overall expirience was really lovely ♥️.

The book teaches us that though a romantic relationship is a blessing, someone who is your companion through your life but romantic relationships are not a mandatory requirement. You can have your life apart from your relationship too. That you can find a suitable person when time comes but do not chase any person or be hurry to be in a relationship.

A really short read by Ravinder Singh on Love, the feeling making hearts beat together and drifting apart, to meet again on the basic which is about setting free. Enjoyed reading the super shortie and finish in less than 20 minutes. I like the direct style without complication and conflict in the end, makes it worth reading.

Short but impactful
I loved the story from beginning till end. Every sentence has a meaning to it to feel to understand to love. And most importantly it belongs to many of us, somewhere in life definitely we might have faced this situation, so very much related to oneself.
