Other ways include leaving the planet entirely, becoming an angelic being, or eventually returning to the ultimate source, our true spiritual home. About the author

JOZEF SIMKOVIC came to the United States in 1987 as a refugee from Czechoslovakia which was still governed by the communist regime at that time. After settling in the United States with his family, he spent most of his time in the country working as a radio journalist for the Slovak Service of The Voice of America. Later after the Slovak Service was closed, he continued work as a broadcasting engineer for VOA. In 2003, he was awarded the VOA Gold Medal for bringing the news to his native country of Slovakia in a meaningful way and entertaining fashion.
He considered his work for VOA to be his life mission, but later during his engineer years, he discovered his even more important destiny while taking part in numerous meditation programs at the famous Monroe Institute in Virginia. His extensive diary from these programs and other countless meditations became the foundation for his book.
Before coming to the United States, Jozef Simkovic completed the study of radio and TV broadcasting technology at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava and a postgraduate study of computer programming at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He worked as Deputy Chief in the Computer Center of the Slovak Broadcasting Technology and Operations Company.
Jozef Simkovic was the middle weight karate champion of Czechoslovakia in 1976. He plays competitive table tennis in the United States for many years.

Toward the Ultimate Source: Planning for the Afterlife is the sequel to How to Kiss the Universe: An Inspirational Spiritual and Metaphysical Narrative About Human Origin, Essence and Destiny by retired radio journalist and experienced trailblazing spiritual traveler, Jozef Simkovic.

I listened to and reviewed How to Kiss the Universe a few years ago and I am grateful to this day for the knowledge revealed to me by those writings. At the end of May, Alina and I took a short vacation and while she was resting I used the free time to listen to Toward the Ultimate Source. As with the previous book, I find the writing to be excellent, easy to follow, accessible, enjoyable, easy to understand, and also entertaining.

I think that the most important thing, though, is that after I listened to these two audiobooks, I see all regular things and understand the meaning of dreams differently than before. I am fascinated by psychology, having studied the topic in my early 20s, and I am also interested in all spiritual matters. As someone who frequently steps into lucid dreams, has premonitions, and taps into telepathy from time to time, I have always felt that there is much more to our essence than the physical realm, and I really believe that our journey is just the beginning in a trek throughout the stars or other planes of existence.

Both How to Kiss the Universe and Toward the Ultimate Source are thought-provoking informative, educational, spiritually enriching and encourage us to reach that point where we will be able to give unconditional love to everyone around us. Only by taking these extremely important steps, we will be able to reach for the Ultimate Source and also prepare for the afterlife.

I truly believe that the author didn’t write these two books for money or for fame, because he is living a comfortable, fulfilling, and happy life in the United States as a retired journalist, he wrote them because of his self declared and proclaimed mission on Earth – that to help everyone understand the inner workings of the universe and to urge us to become better human and spiritual beings!

With humanity tackling the corona pandemic for the last two years, I think that a lot of us were brutally forced to face our own mortality. If you’re looking for answers about what could be coming next in our spiritual journey in this universe and want to better prepare for the afterlife, I highly recommend that you read or listen to both How to Kiss the Universe and Toward the Ultimate Source, because Mr. Simkovic shares in them a priceless treasure trove of information that you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

These two books are beautifully written and easy to understand thanks to a fictionalized writing style and explanations that use simple, everyday terms, not those super scientific and most of the time confusing style definitions that you would need a dictionary for in order to move forward in the narrative. The book is split into explanatory named chapters, each of them opening with a suitable quote from a well-renowned writer, philosopher, musician, or other people that have inspired the author in one way or another.

The audiobook version of Toward the Ultimate Source: Planning for the Afterlife is expertly and enthusiastically narrated by former Voice of America star John Steele . He delivers an excellent performance, reading clearly, infusing the narrative with emotion, humor and talent. I consider him to be the perfect choice for this story filled with even more extraordinary events and it’s really nice to see him also return for this second audiobook because I enjoyed his narration of the first one tremendously.

If you’re an open-minded person, I highly recommend that you give these books a try because they can show you how to see your limited physical life as part of the greater universal scheme of spiritual reality, or you can enjoy these writings as just truly imaginative and well-done science fiction if you don’t believe in Mr. Simkovic’s experiences.

Regardless of whether you believe or not, the overall message imparted to us in these writings is that we need to become better individuals, to be kinder, more considerate, more careful, and to show unconditional love towards everyone surrounding us – that’s a message that I will proudly shout out every day from the top of my lungs!

“Toward the Ultimate Source” by Jozef Simkovic chronicles mainly the writer’s metaphysical trips. Some may find the stories amazing, others may feel inclined to further explore his narratives. In Chapter 42, Simkovics shares the following: “While dreaming, I decided to vibrationally rise as high as I could. When I reached Focus 120, I know I was right under the Ultimate Membrane. It was so overwhelming that I was afraid of not coming back into my body and started to scream.” (p.148)
