All over the place

Author jumps all over with his "advice" to dieters. The language used sounds like it was written in another language and translated. Sentences like "women should not savor fruit" and "men should not drink beer, there are other alcohols to get high on" lead me to think this author is just writing off the top of his head. No suggestions on what to eat. Don't bother to read this book.

This is a most useful introduction to the Ketogenic Diet. This is the lifestyle where you cut out the carbs from your diet - almost entirely - and force your body to burn fat instead of carbs/sugar.

By removing the carbs from your system, your body will automatically burn your body fat as fuel. You can even eat a high proportion of fats (GOOD fats!) in your day to day life and still lose weight. An important note is that it is NOT recommended for anyone with Type 1 Diabetes. But those who are simply a bit overweight, or Type 2 Diabetic (please consult your doctor), may benefit from this style of diet.

I tried this diet for a short while back in 2019 and I lost 6KG (≈13lb 4oz) in about 5 weeks. You HAVE to be strict with yourself for it to work, and I am attempting now to go back on Keto to lose some KG that have crept back!

Filled with background information on the science and with numerous recipes to get you started, this is a handy book for the newcomer to Keto.

Every informative and had need to know information that you sometimes do not get from just watching a video on YouTube as they are all just showing what they eat and how much they have lost and do not take the time to inform you properly of the in and out of this diet.this book gives you the dos and the don't and the steps to take to make sure your Keto journey is started with the optimal usable information and steps you can take to make sure you get maximum benefit from your weight loss and remain healthy to enjoy it. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to start the keto diet as As a good way to get more information before you just jump into eating all that bacon and egg which is deliciouous indeed and one of the better things on this diet.

Read have fun and be healthy and lose weight in a timely fashion and fit in your beach wear by summer.

Ok,but...

Good tips, but one like eating things like shellfish containing iodine, is misleading. While author states his book is not medical advice, he should have reminded the reader to check with doctor on this, like he did elsewhere in the book. EMT drivers are trained to ask a patient if they are allergic to shellfish due to meds that could be administered. I have cancer. I know I need to check with my physician, but still. This was not brought up at all, though there are many forms.

Short but to the point. Very good advice for beginners!

I gave three stars because of the length and the quality of the writing. It is sufficient enough, however, and the price was right!

I didn't find this of any use!

Poorly written and uninformative. Nothing useful for me. Reads like a translation, and not proofread. Won't be giving this space on my tablet, deleting it.

Do not waste your time reading this it may be short but it has absolutely no information that you don't already know from talking to anyone who's doing this diet. Is no helpful information and it doesn't explain anything more than what you already know even if that's nothing.

No real facts

Nothing to help me start on keto. Didn't help any more then spending 5 minutes googling ever did. I'm still just as lost on where to start as I was before reading this.

Ketogenic Do's and Dont's explains the working of ketosis and how the diet works on your metoblism.
I found it an interesting foundation to begin the diet with. Mathew Noll seem to have good grasp of the process.

Lot of info. Basic, general info to consider. Would like to have had more detailed food to eat. Definitely good information.

Gives the basics of the Keto Diet. Short but informative. Good beginner info. Take a few minutes to read it.

Not very well written

This. Book was riddled with grammatical errors and awkward. There are no resources listed that tied into the claims being made.

Not bad

I have read this book a couple of times and it makes sense. Basically eat foods as close to natural as possible. Avoid processed.

This book was a short read. I really did not know much about the keto diet ,I've heard bits and pieces so this book was informative for me. I know more now then I did before reading the book.

Perfect reminder

Have been on Ketogenic diet for five months. This was a great reminder of the rights and wrongs. This diet does work.

Nothing new in this book.

Boring and not all that helpful. You can go to almost any low carb website and get the same info.

Needs to be proofed

The language is very stilted. Obviously an ESL person which made it distracting and hard to follow at times. Obviously an intelligent person, just hard to follow

Very little here

You can find more on any web page it about three minutes. Not sure why this is even considered a book...
