I solved the fae Taneisha's five quests, one for each of my new mates' legacies, so why am I not home yet?
After the excitement of finishing the quests and choosing my mates, I needed some time to process my feelings and think about our future together and check on my shop, Charmed Brews. Not to mention I needed to visit my granny and head of our mage family, Ms. Lowe, before she tore apart the city looking for me.
When I stepped through Taneisha's portal, thought, all was not as it should be. When is it with that awful fae? Taneisha was sending me on one last quest through faery for a magic potion. But things weren’t going to be any easier this no one ever said dealing with the fae was simple.
I hoped my mates realized what the fae was up to before it was too late and I was lost to them forever.
This is book six of six in the Stolen Legacy series. This is an action adventure, why-choose, steamy romance where the female main character has more than one love interest. Includes m/m in some books.
After lifetimes spent spinning data webs in information technology and crafting alchemy in a winery, Candice now pens tales filled with murder, magic, and romance in the paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and science fiction genres. She likes to throw fierce, clever heroines off cliffs and into the arms of heroes who stand at the ready to catch them.
I've been eagerly awaiting the conclusion to the Stolen Legacy series and its finally here! I have mixed feelings about it. We finally get a reason for why Sera has struggled with her magic but overall it feels like such a departure from the other books in the series. I much prefer Sera and the guys working together then separated. Love the series but was hoping for more the the guys in the conclusion.
Devoted Desires is book 6 in the Stolen Legacy series. It's the final book in the series...and while it was good i was left with more questions than answers.
Devoted Desires starts immediately after book 5, when the Fae Taneisha sends Sera through the portal, seemingly to her coffee shop. Considering we're working with Taenisha, that's of course not where Sera actually goes. Taneisha realized she needed help with ONE more quest, that only Sera can do. So Sera finds herself back in Faery to do one more SMALL quest and then she can get home to her mates...right? Of course not! Not when Taneisha's involved! Sera's seemingly simple, straight and narrow errand is derailed almost immediately when she runs into the Queen of the Summer Court and is asked (ordered) to have an audience with her and explain why she's in faery. Of course things continue to go downhill from there. The Supernova of hotness as Sera affectionately calls her mates, have no idea that Sera's not home...at first. When they realize she's missing they immediately run into action trying to find her. But the guys may be too late when they realize someone else is looking for her, and they may have found the guys first. As usual, faery tricks, the group realizing they're better together than apart, and Sera giving in and trusting her magic, bring everyone back together again leaves us happier than we started.
As I said and felt in the last book, something was off with this book. Books 1-4 flowed fine, I couldn't really tell there were 2 different authors, pacing, and the action to spice ratio was good. In book 5 I first felt the disconnect, I can't quite put my finger on it but I could tell it didn't flow the way it used to. The spice didn't happen until the last two chapters, which part of it is understandable because the entire book was mostly Sera being stuck in Faery and everyone trying to save/find her, but that could've also been cut down a couple of chapters. The last two chapters of the book tried to wrap up the whole series but also tried to very quickly inform us of their new lives. I wished there would've been an epilogue included or another chapter or two to make it not feel so rushed at the end.
In general I genuinely enjoyed the series. These books were intriguing and fast reads which is what had me returning time after time. The Stolen Legacy series is a fun, fated mates, why choose, adventure, paranormal romance series that features a strong FMC who learns that in order to become the powerful person she's meant to be she has to let others in and learn to trust them so she can trust herself.
The end of the quest wasn’t quite the end of Sera’s adventure. She’s through another portal into Faery proper now and on one final quest for Taneisha. What she doesn’t know or suspect is that this one is all about her and what she could become. Meanwhile back home the men are assessing damages and trying to fight the need to see Sera. They discover her family has an all encompassing search out for her and get caught up in it. What will Sera discover on her quest? What will become of her mates? How is Taneisha involved? And what will grams aka Ms. Dara Lowe say about the developments in her granddaughter’s life? Read on for the exciting conclusion to the Stolen Legacy series! Epic fun! Tons of surprising revelations about Sera and her wonky magic. When I reached the end I was like no!!! You can’t leave us here I want more! That being said this is an ending but a happy one where the future for all is left to our imaginations. Hea indeed!.

This was the last in the Stolen Legacy series. While I enjoyed this, it was a little different than the rest of the series. This was mostly because Sera was on a quest without her mates. We did get a lot of answers but gained a few more. I look forward to the next series by this author.

This felt very different from the previous books in this series, with the I was still vibing through as I was reading it, as I like to say, aka here for a fun and relaxed time, not a thoughtful time so it wasnt a terrible read or anything, just a bit of a 180 from the other books in the series which was a weird choice for a concluding book.
This was a different style of read, as compared to the rest of the series. This is the finale but the adventures weren't over for Sera and her guys. Most of this story is with her separated from them so expect a little less heat. However, it was a great story as she worked on the 'last' last quest ;P While we do get an HEA, it's a little open ended so I'm wondering if we'll see these characters again ;D Good fun!
What a great ending to the series. Wrapping almost everything up nice and tight. The mates all be reunited and happy. Sera and her family are back together. Sera has learned about her heritage and how that will help her achieve control over her magic. There are a few questions left unanswered, such as who is Sera's father? What will the meeting with her mother be like?
this was a great sixth book from the Stolen Legacy series, it was what I hoped for from this series. Candice Bundy had what I was looking for in the writing style and loved the characters. I enjoyed the why choose elements and glad I got to read this.

Aww! I can't believe it's over! I was really enjoying the posse's adventures. It's nice to see Sera have a quest on her own but I've got use to the six of them solving mysteries and relying on each other. Super exciting and the romance is amazing! I loved it!
The whole story arc was pleasantly surprising. I was expecting to enjoy Sera’s journey, but it was great! I’m a bit let down that they didn’t go into more about her heritage but it does leave it open for other stories in this universe.
It was an ending to a series I have truly enjoyed. Im not enthralled but i don't hate it either, just not in love compared to the other's. There are still a great many loose ends that need to be tied up to be honest. Its a short story that who knows one day might get some bonus chapters. Or maybe ? A new series off of this one where we find out thr heritage or Sera. What happens with the relationship with her mother & the rest of her family.
If you are looking for a series that fills the needs you get from the little short exerpts you get on Facebook, or the apps where you have to watch so many ads or only get a chapter a day. This is better! Love interests my the handful! literally! I wish this story was more indepth like the others more Sera filled with her "questline"
I like this series pace as one huge quest with many side quests going on.
Last book though... I wish there was at least 1 more chapter. Maybe with a visit of Sera's mother and explanation about her father? Because I feel like we got teased by Sera being of some special bloodline with some great Fae heritage, but that's it.. Sera will think about it.
Also guys are sworn to house Lowe, I wish we could see them work for an assigment for Grams.
This is the final book in the Stolen Legacy series. It was good but I was expecting all my questions to be answered, now I have even more. Sera spends most of the book without her guys, so it's different from the rest of the series. But definitely worth reading.

WOW, what an adventure this entire series has been. Absolutely loved the action, puzzles and growing connection with each book. Definitely need some more books like this!
Ok, so I genuinely enjoyed this series! It was a fun quick read and I was never bored. My only issue is that there were things left unfinished and questions left unanswered. The last three books felt a little rushed and missing some key points. The last one specifically went super fast and left a lot unfinished. The story over all was interesting I just wish it had been fleshed out a bit more.
