More More Time is a book where hardly anything happens. It's focused on ordinary people's lives, their past struggles, regrets, but essentially on their internal growth. More More Time follows six people. They try to figure out how they got to the point they are currently in. They have lived a lukewarm life, and it seems now when they've gotten older, they are disappointed at themselves having wasted their lives in the past. Their stories entwine, they are connected with each other.

In the beginning, I found it difficult to like the characters but as the story went on I grew to love each of them despite their flaws, as they were getting stronger. It clearly shows that everybody hurts though it's not always obvious.

More, More Time is told by six different perspectives, we can witness often contrasting point of views. The atmosphere is somewhat morbid until the 3/4 of the book, but then it gets lighter and hopeful. Book is packed with engaging dialogues, and with lots of beautiful quotes. The story was reasonably paced, although I felt the end come quite suddenly.

I cried. I cried because the book ended too soon, I would have wanted more of it. I also cried tears of relief. More More Time put things into a perspective for me again. The only moment that counts is now and I want to make most of it. It told me that my time is limited and nothing is more important than being a kind person, friend, and living in a moment pursuing my dreams. Death is something that makes people afraid, but I see death as a motivation to be a better version of myself and this book gave me hope and a fresh outlook on life.

This was a good and interesting book. It started off great and fast paced with Max, the tough manly man, waking up with his head badly bleeding. He is clueless to what happened and is not sure what to tell the 911 operator. Being a teacher, Max is more worried about who will take over in his class than his head wounds. This selflessness made me smile. He has not missed a day of work in many years and this causes his students to make up rumors about what happened to Max.But then he starts hearing voices and they are overwhelming. Luckily he has a great friend Hargrove in his corner who is Max's pot smoking buddy and his escape some nights away from his mother. Then we meet Beth and Bob. Beth is realtor/ massage therapist and yet she ended up coming home with blood stained hands scaring Bob. Constance is a fun character and Max is quite fond of her.

I really enjoyed how we got a good deep look into what at first seemed to be the simple life of Max yet it wasn't so simple after all as he is connected to many people all who have been affected by him. This was very neat and clever making it a fun read.

More More Time by David B. Seaburn was such an interesting book. There were times during the first few chapters that I got confused but once you have met all the characters it is easy to follow along and you are able to understand it all. I loved learning how all the characters were connected and see how they all interacted with each other. I really like Max and I found myself feeling bad for him because I can’t even imagine how it would be to hear voices all the time and to feel like you are going crazy. If you love general fiction than you should check this one out. If you have read it what did you think of it?

FTC:I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Life is precious

All of the people in this book are wrestling with issues familiar to most of us- marriage, sex as older adults, intimacy with others, friendship and ultimately the meaning of life and the true brevity of our time here. They are real people readily identified with and the reader wrestles right along with them. Thank you David.
