Experience an Unprecedented Outpouring of Holy Spirit Fire, Power, and Miracles
Have we experienced the pinnacle of Holy Spirit power? Has the Lord poured out the full measure of His presence on the earth? Is what we've seen all there is?
The devil wants you to think so. And just like he did with Abraham, he's working hard to stop you short of God’s miracle promise. He wants you to settle for an "Ishmael" when your supernatural "Isaac" awaits.
In his most prophetic book yet, R. T. Kendall—one of the most respected and reputable Bible teachers of this generation—exposes the dangerous deception preventing you from experiencing more of the Spirit in your life, showing you how to stop striving and instead position yourself for the coming outpouring that’s beyond anything the Earth has ever seen.
This prophetic wake-up call is a burning exhortation from one who cherishes the movement of the Spirit, equipping you to join the company of people who, like Abraham….
Break out of spiritual confinement Believe and agree with His Word Pray and contend for the fullness of what’s available Position yourself to receive His supernatural promise Experience an unprecedented outpouring of the Holy Spirit Stop settling for a foretaste of glory. Stand in faith that the best is yet to come and help usher in a sweeping supernatural awakening and end-times revival unlike anything the world has ever seen.
This book is a needed corrective word to the Charismatic church. But it is godly correction that points to life. The great Hope of Jesus in His fullness is proclaimed. I pray God uses me as one of those awake who declare the Bridegroom is coming.
A lot of confirmation for me in this book. I’ve been seeing similar things that R.T. Kendall is talking about. He says “there has been a silent divorce in the church between Word and Spirit.” This has been an ongoing issue in the church and has gotten worse over the years. God is calling us back to the unity of the Word and Spirit and this will usher in the greatest revival the church has ever seen. You can see it clearly in the parable of the ten virgins. RT points this out in the book so I won’t give anything away. But this is a must read for any Christian. It’s time the church gets serious about pursuing God and knowing Him in these last days.
This is a fascinating read. Author RT Kendall does not claim to be a prophet - he claims to be merely a Bible teacher. Yet this work has a prophetic flare and timelessness to it. He also makes this work interesting by peppering it with anecdotes about his life and the lives of other Christians from various theological backgrounds. It will be interesting to see if Kendall’s predictions regarding the end times come to pass.
For some reason or another, I didn't expect much from this book even though R.T. Kendall has become one of my favorite writers. But this book ended up surpassing my expectations and becoming a joy to read. This book could be considered a companion to his previous book Prepare Your Heart for the Midnight Cry. Here, the author shares his strong belief the greatest revival the world has ever seen will expand around the globe before Christ's return, and it is coming soon. He has written of this before in other books, but goes into more detail here. R.T. admits he is not a prophet. His training is in reformed theology. He was mentored by Martyn Lloyd-Jones and personally selected by Lloyd-Jones to succeed him in the pulpit at Westminster Chapel. In this book, R.T. Kendall discusses a number of things and calls out some of the dangerous beliefs many within the Charismatic denomination teach, particularly "open theism." For over 20 years now, Kendall has been ministering to Charismatics, bringing sound teaching from the Bible and trying to correct some of their errant beliefs. Kendall is not a Cessationist (and neither was Lloyd-Jones despite what many like John MacArthur have said; the proof is in Lloyd-Jones's published writings and audio recorded sermons). A worthwhile read.
Some interesting applications of Scripture (mainly of Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac, and the parable of the ten virgins). His main background is his critique (albeit in a loving posture) of the Charismatic movement
What has challenged me in a positive way, is that I need to pay attention to the state of my soul, and my time in the Word
I admire Dr RT’s humility amidst proclaiming this bold vision, and appreciate his 5 ways we can prepare ourselves for when God moves:
1 Show lavishness in thanksgiving and praise 2 Avoid bitterness at all costs 3 learn to detect a rival spirit in myself 4 practice total forgiveness 24-7, 7 days a week 5 Let your conversations always be gracious, seasoned with salt.
Very encouraging, I will keep on perusing a closer relationship with God, and others what a wonderful revelation of Old Testament truths. Thank you for your openness.
Wonderfull book! Convicting, biblical, and practical for how to live as a believer in these times. Study the Word, pray, listen to the Holy Spirit. A heartfelt call to a sleeping church to wake up and live as if we truly believe Jesus is coming back - soon!
