As a digital product owner I picked up this book hoping to further my professional knowledge. I was certainly able to learn from this book, however, it is more targeted towards the development of digital twins for physical products , particularly using the example of automotive product development as an example. Overall, it was a good, technical resource. Although it wasn't directly related to what I was looking for, it was still a good learning experience.
I must admit, the book was challenging for me as a novice reader, but it was interesting. I knew not what digital twin was, but the simple explanation in chapter 1 explained it properly. For an engineer or someone studying to become one, this book will be very useful. Great research went into this book, and the author really captures the readers attention with his style of writing and explaining stuff.
This was a fascinating read and the author is definitely an expert in the subject. There was no question the whole time I was reading that this person is passionate about what they do and sharing this knowledge with others. I like the way it was laid out because it was almost casual, as if you were taking a one on one lesson.
