Reed freaking Rivers. I wouldn’t trust a word out of the arrogant music mogul’s mouth if his gold-plated tongue were notarized. The Man with the Midas Touch would say anything to get me into his bed, and I know it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to succeed.
Reed has something I want. Something my heart desires even more than my body craves one night with him. Reed assumes he’s running this game of seduction. He thinks he’s a thirty-four-year-old big cat on the prowl, and I’m a blushing twenty-one-year-old field mouse with stars in my eyes. But as Reed is about to find out, he’s not the only big cat on the hunt in this game of cat and mouse.

Let me start with the fact that I devoured these 3 books in 24 hours. This is my first read by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. I also have to thank Jacob Morgan as I picked the first book up during an audible sale purely because he was the narrator🙌🏻 this is also on KU so that’s also an option but of course I highly recommend the audio.
To the story. Bad Liar -5⭐️ Beautiful Liar -5⭐️ Beloved Liar- 4⭐️
Ugh, I love Reed Rivers so much. 🥰💯There is so much character development and it was truly special to watch Reed and Georgie’s relationship grow. Their chemistry was electric and I was really into Reed’s persona. He certainly exhibited dickish behavior at time, but because we really got to know him through the writing, I know he wasn’t. I did like Georgie but I won’t lie, there were times I wanted to slap her for her petulance. There is a fine line between coming across as strong & independent and just foolish & naïve. She didn’t always hit the mark. But I loved how she kept Reed on his toes and challenged him. She made him chase her good 😏
That cliffhanger at the end of book 2. 😫 I love a good grovel trope so I was ready heading into the final book.
The first 3rd of book 3 was great. Everything I wanted and honestly a little surprised they got back together so quickly! Then that lead me to wondering what the rest of the book was going to be about.
Here’s where I had my issues. It’s not that I didn’t like the rest of the story, but it was just unnecessarily long. A lot of times I can be critical of authors who wrap up secondary storylines too quickly and neatly. This one took the opposite approach and gave too much real estate of this book to close them out and it wasn’t really necessary to Reed and Georgie’s love story. Yes it furthered their character development but by the end I didn’t need more of it. And honestly I was just never really invested in Alessandra’s career or the #metoo storylines. However seeing Reed fall even more in love and hearing his declarations of love never got old for me 😍
So you could read up to chapter 20 (47%) and then jump to chapter 40 if you just want to see their reconciliation and HEA and skip the rest.
Minor Spoiler:
Book 2 was my favorite even though it was slightly problematic. *Technically* there is cheating. And I say technically because I can’t say it wasn’t, there was a kiss with an OW, but for me I was able to stay the course because the intent to betray was never there. I get it if it’s a hard and fast deal breaker, I’m usually in that camp, but it added just enough angst for me. 🤷🏻♀️
I read this trilogy on one sitting. ONE. A TRILOGY. I accept everyone's applause now😇
This trilogy were my 8th, 9th, and 10th books in this Lauren Rowe universe (everyone is connected lol) and i am pleasantly surprised to say i think it might be my favourite so far!
I truly didn't like Reed very much in the orher books, he was mentioned just enough that I confidently knew who he was, but I thought he was a total sleeze. He's tall, tatted, loyal, and very rich, he created one of the largest music labels. He also has a sex swing? heLLo Christian Grey.
Georgina is a new character for me, and I love her. She's a hot, funny, loyal, fierce as hell journalist, who definitely gives as good as shes given.
I absolutely adore these two! There is honestly so much drama and I was here for every second of it. I loved seeing a different side of Reed, and looking into his mind. I also just love it when a man who's adamant he'll never fall in love, is brought to his knees by a woman. I'm fucking obsessed with these two!!
I haven't decided which book I'm gonna go onto next by Lauren Rowe but I am for sure having a grand old time. 10/10
Reed and Georgina are 🔥. I loved this series. Reed is a successful man who doesn’t do love. Georgina is a young woman who knows herself well and takes crap from no one. She also doesn’t do love because she has had her heart broken. Well, you know what happens when they see each other? Sparks fly and the rest is history. The story deals with some tough topics and great resolutions.
The books have tension, passion, happiness, fighting etc. I did the audio version and the narrators were wonderful.
The Reed Rivers Trilogy was an addicting read! Georgina and Reed were intriguing, complex, and complicated characters and I loved them from start to finish. From their fiery banter and flirting, to the heat simmering between them that exploded in a big way, I was all in. There is drama, tension, and angst and I ate it up as these two battled it out, let their guards down, and fell in love.
I loved Georgina and Reed together and their instant lust-filled attraction. I loved Reed and his broody self, he has his secrets and demons and he seemed ruthless from the outside but he’s got a heart of gold for those he cares about. Georgina is a strong woman, determined, and resourceful with some hard things in her past as well. I loved the growing passion between them, it was fun and sexy but it also had an edge at times when things weren't going smoothly. These two could be hotheads and they were so in their feelings at times, that it made for some raw scenes filled with excellent verbal sparring. That back-and-forth building desire between them was palpable, this baby is steamy for sure.
There was a lot of drama, it was the all-consuming kind where I couldn’t look away thanks to Reed and Georgina's choices and from outside sources. There was an age gap involved, Georgina is 21 to his 34 and sometimes her younger age showed. Reed could be his own worst enemy and made a few unwise choices, the kind where I wanted to smack him and throw my Kindle. I liked their overall growth together and how he redeemed himself. By the end of this long book, and yes, occasionally it felt long, I was thrilled with their magnificent HEA.
I loved Reed’s friends, the different bands, and characters, and getting a taste for other books this author has written, making me want to read their stories. I loved the different relationships Reed and Georgina both had with others, creating heartfelt moments as well as entertaining ones.
Bottom line, I was hooked. This is a trilogy and I was so glad I had all the books to read at once because book two ended in a particularly killer cliffhanger. I liked the emotional moments, the intense ones, the heat and drama, and all the healing and love. It’s filled with angsty tension and glorious banter making it a really great read!
I first binged this trilogy back in 2020, and guess what? I’m diving back in—because it’s just that incredible!
The banter between Reed and Georgie is a delightful rollercoaster of emotions and laughs. Watching Georgie turn Reed inside out is just hilarious! And let’s be real, Reed knows his bad boy charm is totally irresistible to her. They both have their defenses up, but from their very first encounter, it’s clear they’ve each finally met their match.
Their chemistry? It’s like an intense fire that just keeps burning. And trust me, there’s an unforgettable scene that will make this book live rent-free in your head for a long time. 🔥
This trilogy perfectly blends seductive tension, banter, and an irresistible cat-and-mouse dynamic between Reed and Georgie.
If you’re debating between the audiobook and the the book, go for the audio—or better yet, enjoy both! My immersive listening experience was nothing short of perfection with narrators Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt! Morgan nails Reed’s off the charts arrogance while also capturing his deep affection for those he cares about. Meanwhile, Arndt brings Georgie’s sass and inner strength to life beautifully. Together, these narrators create an unforgettable listening experience.
I could read this one over and over again even though I don’t often re-read.
Tropes: age gap Alpha Male secrets/lies Music Industry MMC Reporter FMC all the banter Dual POV
The Reed Rivers Trilogy combines the books Bad Liar, Beautiful Liar, and Beloved Liar. I was/am obsessed with this series. So much so that I've realized there are interconnected books of side characters that I will need to go read now - eyeing you Josh/Kate.
Reed Rivers is a music mogul who owns his own record label: River Records. He's notoriously private but he pumps out the best artists and albums. Just don't ask him to listen to your demo. The man is brutually honest, and comes off as a jerk, but that's until you really get to know him, and become part of his inner circle- but don't let him know that ;)
Reed sits in on a music panel and sitting in the audience is Georgina. She's an inspiring reporter who's never heard of Reed previously. After eye flirting- Reed finds Georgina at a local bar and the banter that ensues is Top Notch. I was laughing Out Loud! It was great. It was funny, sexy, all the above.
LONG Story short, Reed and Georgina both give and take with one another. Each wanting to use the other's bodies, but also, for work. Georgina in writing articles about Reed and his bands, Reed getting his bands in an exclusive issue.
I loved both Reed and Georgie. Georgie is.... she's GREAT! She's smart, witty, beautiful, sarcastic, caring, loves fiercely, is a self-diagnosed pyscho, and great with people. It's why she's so good at her job! She's not above letting Reed use her body, and her use Reed's. She can separate work and pleasure. The girl is a boss.
Reed... oh Reed. You come across as a Grade A jerk but honestly, we all know you're really a softie. You just have the wrong way with words lol. However, I'm willing to forgive your bluntness and aggressiveness with everyone because of how you treat Georgie. From Day 1 you had it bad and I was rooting for you to cave. The things we've learned, the strings you've pulled, for the people you care about the most, sir, you are the unspoken hero. And I love your badass self.
I could not put this series down. The audio version is Top Notch. I listened/read along to the audio and I loved it too. The voice actors where PERFECTION. They truly brought the characters to life and I highly recommend the audio!
(3.7 Stars) This is all three books in one including Bad Liar, Beautiful Liar and Beloved Liar. It’s about A successful and full of himself Music model Reed Rivers and his want to get College student Georgina Ricci. They are both strong willed and until Reed can redeem his playboy behaviors he will not be redeemed in the eyes of the one he is falling for. It did take me a bit to get into this but by the end of book one I really started enjoying the story. Their relationship is an interesting one with each using each other at times for their own reasons. Told in first person and dual POV.
-Bad Liar, Reed Rivers is a hot shot music mogul. When he speaks at a campus, Georgina Ricci can’t seem to stop staring. That leads to a push and pull between these two strong headed characters. Reed wasn’t always this successful as he came from an unsettling family situation but he was determined to be the man he is today. He thinks he can have whatever and whomever he wants, that is until feisty Georgina enters the picture.
-Beautiful Liar Book two starts right where book one left off. As Georgina is now an intern at River Records she needs to stay focused on making this the best internship for both her own success and her families. Too bad Reed might make that task a tough one. As their love/hate relationship grows deeper so do complications. At times Georgina really shows her age and naivety with being with the boss. He definitely messed up big time by the end. Can he redeem himself?
-Beloved Liar With Reed in the dog house can he find a way to earn back Georgina’s trust and love? Will she take him Back after she lets him stew a little? These two have some trust issues but in the end want to be with each other.
I love Reed Rivers! Reed and Georgina’s story is so fabulous. The banter and tension between them is the best. They both have such fire and sass and the way they battle and express themselves is amazing. They fit together so well. Having the bind up of the trilogy was perfect because as soon as you finish one book you will immediately want to read the next one! As a die hard Lauren Rowe fan I love seeing all the characters you recognize from her other books. I highly recommend this trilogy, and this Lauren Rowe universe in general!
🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧 📚The Reed Rivers Trilogy by Lauren Rowe 🎤Narrated by Andi Arndt & Jacob Morgan
WOW, WOW, WOWza! I started this trilogy & I didn't stop. I couldn't stop. For reals! These books were nothing what I expected & EVERYTHING I love in a great story! These were my very first books from Lauren Rowe & she's an author that I will actively seek out from now on! I loved her writing style, the plot twists that you don't see coming & the banter between these two characters is absolutely FIRE! You end up craving after these two!
The trilogy is made up of: Bad Liar Beautiful Liar Beloved Liar
Every book picks right up from where the last one leaves off & that's why you zip right through these because Lauren knows how to grab the reader & snag their attention. The character development of these two MC's, Reed Rivers & Georgina Ricci is absolutely fantastic. It was so fun listening to them grow & watch them tackle the "big hurdles" blocking them in their lives. Their chemistry is electric & you are sucked into their stories right from the get-go!
Reed freakin' Rivers is a man among men. He could easily be mistaken for a real jerk, a cocky son of a gun, but there's nothing further from the truth. Lauren's writing shows off all of the wonderful qualities this man truly possesses, the good & the bad and the undeniable obsession he has over Georgie!
Georgina Ricci is young, somewhat naïve but she's got all the goods. She's gorgeous, an extremely talented journalist, fiesty, smart, strong, independent & keeps Reed on his toes & looking forward. He certainly meets his match in Georgie & this woman brings him to his knees, literally! She's fierce, ambitious & determined to write for her dream magazine, Dig A Little Deeper, an investigative magazine that exposes people & the awful things they keep hidden.
Reed is an extremely gifted, & successful record producer with an eye for finding talent that can make it big, almost instantly. He's also drop dead gorgeous & is known for his play boy ways. Georgie is an aspiring investigative journalist looking for a job after graduation. There's an instant attraction to each other, like almost obsessive, & it's clear these two want each other & bad!
Georgie gets a job but not with the magazine she wants. Instead, she's hired to write an expose for the magazine, Rock & Roll, featuring Reed Rivers & his hit band, Red Card Riot. Now that there's some forced proximity, things start to heat up🔥 and secrets start to come out of the woodwork. Georgie's got an amazing eye for investigative work & she wants answers to questions.
Reed is closed off to love but absolutely so gone for Georgie. Their story is filled with angst, desire & a chemistry that's totally explosive! The longer they spend time together, walls begin to crumble & they expose their secrets & burdens to one another. Their relationship goes from total obsessive lust to genuine love for one another. It happens naturally & is so flippin swoony! Reed is a man whose protective over his lady, friends & family and he's determined to do whatever it takes to keep them ALL safe! So many things happen in this story, not just in their own relationship but with the relationship with so many they know & I was glued to my earbuds in anticipation at what was going to happen next. Totally obsessed with these characters, the plot & the spice! These 3 books became my personality for a few days & I was so gone, hook, line & sinker. Reed truly is the "Man with the Midas touch."
🎧Let's talk narration...Jacob & Andi were absolutely perfect voicing these characters. I was so drawn into their narration & the story of their lives because of the perfect execution in their performances. Gah! I LOVED this audio! Jacob plays this cocky, arrogant man so well. At times you can't stand him but the more you find out about Reed, he transforms into a complete protective cinnamon role & Jacob just shines in roles like this! I found his arrogance so hot & sexy it was ridiculous & when he's voicing the quiet, tender moments with Georgie, I just literally melted. He voices several characters in this one & he's absolutely brilliant! Andi is the perfect person to voice this feisty, determined FMC. She snaps back at Reed, doesn't put up with his crap & shows her vulnerability to Reed. Andi NAILS all of this! Giving you every single emotion you want from flirty, to mad, to utterly gone for Reed. These two brought this amazing story to life. I was totally obsessed.
Despite their age difference, these two are perfect for each other & fit together so well. It's impossible not to fall in love with Reed Rivers. FACT! He's loyal & protective almost to a fault & this is what makes this man so dang attractive, but yes, he's so good looking, he "could make a woman's ovaries explode!"
I can't recommend these audios enough. These stories are gripping & addictive. These characters, the plot, the spice & real love story grabbed me & didn't let go. Add this to your TBR right now!
Thank you Lauren Rowe & Hambright PR for a copy of the ARC. What an unexpected delight that I absolutely loved!
I sigh. “I can’t stand being away from Georgina. She’s my disease and there’s no cure. I’m lovesick.” CeeCee pats my arm. “What a glorious reason to be miserable.”
I've never been happier about my instincts being wrong.
Reed and Georgie were strong, unique characters that grabbed my attention from page one and didn’t let go. Their verbal sparring, otherwise called flirting, in the first half of book one sizzled. Each word from their mouth asserted their character, revealing their ambitions, passions, and life philosophy, making me fall in love with them as they fell in love with each other.
Georgie, a journalism major hungry for her big break, catches the eye of Reed, a hotshot media mogul who made his name from scratch. Their chemistry is undeniable, but Georgie's goal to get him to listen to her step-sister's demo stands in the way; the sequence in his car, where her internal battle rages—her lust toward him vs. loyalty to her step-sister—was compelling, entertaining, and somehow completely realistic. They go on to fall in love within a week, a time frame that usually makes me sceptical, but here it doesn’t hinge solely on their physical compatibility; they happen to learn important truths that cause them to admire and respect the other within the short span of time.
I absolutely loved that Georgie's journalism degree wasn't simply window dressing or a crutch to put her in Reed's orbit. I loved that she wouldn't stop digging into any or all information she came across. Her character was so well-constructed that I could easily buy that she, a recently graduated summer intern, would break a story that would go on to become national news. More than anything else, I loved that the author didn’t use Georgie’s trauma as something Reed needed to heal in order for her to go after what she wanted.
I also appreciate that the author crafted the interactions between the MCs and the secondary characters well: for example, Reed with his mother, his friends, CeeCee, Isobel, etc, and Georgie with her father, and all the characters she meets during her investigations. This shouldn't be something worthy of a callout, but I see so many romance novels fall into the trap of focusing too much on the romance and missing the mark on the world-building required to make the love story believable.
The last few chapters show us, step by step, how Reed and Georgie continue to grow and evolve even after they get together to achieve their happily-ever-after.
I would have given this trilogy a full five stars if it hadn't been for three things: 1) The sheer number of cameos from the author's other interconnected books 2) The weird pacing and repeated words and phrases that made it seem like these books weren't professionally edited 3) The abundance of subplots: though entertaining, there were too many to properly resolve.
However, this has made me excited to read Lauren Rowe’s other works!
Lauren Rowe - The Reed Rivers Trilogy Narrated by: Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan
Narrator Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Narrators Review: They both did an excellent job bringing these characters to life. I felt their pacing and tone were perfect also. They brought forth all the emotions the characters were meant to elicit from the readers. Both of their voices were very pleasing to listen to.
Thank you @laurenrowebooks and @hambright_pr for this gifted ALC book copy

Beautiful Liar - Book 2 My Review: My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pages: 246 Genre: Romance
This is the book where Reed and Georgina actually get to know each other. You find out what has made Reed swear off relationships. Underneath the powerful exterior is a man with trust issues, fear of desertion and very guarded. He has gone through multiple traumas.
This book ends on a jaw dropping cliffhanger. Luckily book 3 starts right up so you don’t have to bite your nails for long.
Beloved Liar - Book 3 My Review: My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pages: 316 Genre: Romance
This is the book where all the scenarios are brought to fruition. Georgina makes Reed grovel while she works through her trust issues. He is totally not handling losing her well. He finally breaks down and sends her the evidence that she needs to restore her trust. He is loyal to a fault to those he cares about and will go to any lengths to protect them. Except when it comes to Georgina. This was actually such a sweet book showing two people who had no intention of falling in love realize how much they do love each other.
You will fall in love with Reed Rivers!
I highly recommend these books. And definitely the audiobook of the trilogy.
Thank you so much Hambright PR for sending me this ARC!
The Reed Rivers Trilogy consists of 3 incredible Contemporary Romance books from Lauren Lowe and I loved Georgina and Reed’s story!
When an incredible day and night of flirting with the famous and rich Reed ends with a big fight and Georgina flipping him double birds, she never wants to see the handsome jerk again, but after getting her dream job, Georgie realizes she’s going to spend her whole summer close to Reed trying to interview and write an article about him. With Reed obsessed with getting Georgie to sleep with him and Georgie determined to discover his secrets, the sparks are flying between them but they soon realize that despite both being extremely averse to love and relationships, they are both at risk of losing their hearts.
The whole trilogy is such a beast of a book but I was not bored for a single moment and this story had me hooked from the first page. Georgie was such an entertaining FMC, she was really strong and sassy, fighting for what she wanted and not letting Reed get away with anything, I loved their banter and the way they were always so sneaky with their actions and words. At the first glance, Reed was a typical rich playboy, but there was so much more to him and I loved how we got to see Georgie peeling off his layers, he was truly amazing as the MMC. They both didn’t have easy childhoods, but I loved seeing them slowly open up to and trust each other, their relationship started off as purely physical but the way it evolved was beautiful, I adored these two together and all their scenes and I’m always a fan of the “she falls first, he falls harder” trope and it was done perfectly here. And I must also say, their spicy scenes were *chief’s kiss*, their attraction was off the charts and had me blushing a few times. I also really liked all the family members and Reed’s artists and friends, it’s my first book from this author, but from what I understand they all have their own books and I’m excited to read them all, their stories sound really interesting.
The Reed Rivers Trilogy is a really great contemporary romance book with amazing characters, interesting plot and beautiful and spicy romance. I definitely recommend it to everyone and can’t wait to read more books from this author.
The Reed Rivers Trilogy by Lauren Rowe is a tantalizing, fast-paced romance that dives deep into the world of seduction, power, and the fine line between desire and control. The story centers on Reed Rivers, an arrogant and successful music mogul with a reputation for charm and manipulation, and the protagonist, a strong-willed woman who is determined to resist his advances. From their first encounter, the attraction is undeniable, yet the protagonist refuses to let Reed’s cocky confidence dictate their interactions. She knows that Reed is a master at playing the game of seduction, but she’s not one to be easily won over. As their power struggle intensifies, both characters are forced to confront their desires and the personal stakes involved. The push and pull between them creates a thrilling dynamic, as Reed underestimates her ability to turn the tables in their complex, flirtatious dance. Rowe’s writing captures the fiery tension and chemistry between Reed and the protagonist with a perfect balance of wit, passion, and drama. The back-and-forth between them is electric, and the story escalates as both characters engage in a game of cat-and-mouse, each trying to outwit the other while struggling with their growing attraction. Reed’s suave, gold-plated confidence is met with the protagonist’s determination and cleverness, making for an engaging and satisfying read. As the stakes rise and secrets are revealed, the emotional intensity grows, keeping readers hooked until the very last page. Rowe expertly navigates the complexities of their relationship, exploring themes of control, vulnerability, and desire. The Reed Rivers Trilogy is a captivating, steamy romance that will keep readers eagerly turning pages, craving more of Reed and the protagonist’s charged, tumultuous relationship.
I am voluntarily writing this honest review after listening to a #gifted ALC via Hambright PR. All opinions expressed are my own. THE REED RIVERS TRILOGY: BAD LIAR, BEAUTIFUL LIAR, and BELOVED LIAR was written by Lauren Rowe and narrated by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt. This is the love story of Reed and Georgina, who first saw and flirted with each other across a crowded room. Reed was the CEO of River Records and Georgie was a new college graduate looking for her first job as a reporter. Through his machinations, she was given a paid internship at a music magazine to interview and contribute to an issue dedicated to the artists of River Records and Reed himself. I thoroughly enjoyed all 23 hours of audiobook and loved seamlessly listening to the three books back to back with no waiting to resolve the cliffhangers at the end of the first two books. I also really appreciated the alternative POVs as the story was written to take place concurrently with SMITTEN, which is about Georgie’s half sister. The narrators did an amazing job with their narration, making it match the characters extremely well. Reed and Georgina were like a brush fire. They set off sparks with their witty banter and those sparks set off an inferno. Reed was a cocky playboy who had no intention to settle down and Georgina was a spunky, independent woman who was very passionate and intelligent. But it wasn’t all spice and spark. Both Reed and Georgie had hidden wounds that they learn to trust with each other. This is a spicy, open door, first person, dual POV contemporary romance with tropes such as workplace romance, enemies to lovers, playboy millionaire, rockstar adjacent, age gap, alpha male, Obsessed MMC, dirty mouth, he’s used to getting what he wants, and reformed playboy. I recommend this audiobook trilogy for listeners who enjoy Kylie Scott, SL Scott, Hannah Grace, and Lyla Sage and enjoy spicy romance about the music industry.
Thank you to Hambright PR for the free ebook/audiobook.
This three-book audio book bundle was over 22 hours long (well, faster when you speed it up but still) and I couldn’t stop listening. I think a lot of that had to do with the male narrator, Jacob Morgan. He’s becoming one of my favorites for sure.
Reed is such an alpha hole. He’s used to getting what he wants when he wants and being used for his money or fame. And that’s why I liked Georgie so much. She freely admits that’s she’s attracted to him but she doesn’t let him treat her like she’s some dumb, naive gold digger. That being said, Georgie is 21 and she acts like it sometimes. But man, does she give Reed a run for his money; he’s so out of his element with her.
My quick reviews of each book in the trilogy:
♥️Bad Liar: I love Georgie’s spunk and that Reed just can’t seem to walk away from her. Their back and forth is sexual tension-filled ✨chef’s kiss✨ ♥️Beautiful Liar: Forced proximity for the win and while they still are very ‘will they, won’t they,’ we get to learn about them both so much more and shows some real character development. The cliffhanger at the end is an ouchie (and slight trigger warning—Reed kisses another woman but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me). ♥️Beloved Liar: Reed gave some good grovel (thus why I could get over the kiss from book 2) but this one just felt like too much for me? Literally everything good that could happen did, it felt like sunshine and rainbows and everything fell into place a little too easily.
Overall, I was pretty obsessed with the series and I definitely want to read more from the author, Lauren Rowe.
Talk about being in my Reed Rivers era!! I’m so glad I was able to listen to this trilogy all at once, I think I would have died if I had to wait for each book to come out. Reed and Georgina were absolute 🔥. Plus who doesn’t like a MMC that becomes a reformed playboy and a FMC that has style, class, and sass? I couldn’t get enough of the two of them. Oh and the swing scene 🥵 IYKYK!!!
Reed Rivers is 100% full of himself, knows what he wants, and doesn’t sugar coat anything. He actually comes across as a real jerk. However there’s reasons behind everything he does and we learn all about it. Georgina is young, driven, a little naïve, and will do whatever it takes to reach her goals. She’s sassy, independent, strong willed, and Reed definitely meets his match with Georgina. Listen I’m not gonna tell you what the book is about cause you read that in the blurb, just know these two have AMAZING chemistry, their banter is perfectly matched, and the spice is absolutely spicing. The way their relationship moves from sexually charged to genuinely falling for each other is done so naturally it’s totally swoon worthy.
Now let’s talk narration. Jacob and Andi were perfectly cast to bring Reed and Georgia to life. Jacob had the right amount of cocky and Andi the perfect amount of sass. I was hooked right from the first chapter and couldn’t stop listening. It’s 100% worthy of being added to your TBR.
I am truly and legitimately saddened to see the end of this trilogy. This has been one of THEE best trilogies I’ve read in a long time! Oh I could cry, it was just SOO DAMN GOOD. Lauren like MY GAWD, are you kidding me??
The secrets and lies The banter The sparring (baby Georgina wasn’t playing with Reed) The drama Thee spice 🤌🏾💋 The rollercoaster of emotions Just E👏🏾VE👏🏾RY👏🏾THING👏🏾
To say I was hooked. Riveted. Captivated. Completely enthralled is the definition of an understatement.
Three books were just not enough. I am ravenous for all things Reed and Georgina! Their story just put me in every single feel. Not even five minutes after I finished did I want to go back to book one and experience it all again. Infinity stars isn’t enough. Cue the most epic book hangover. The struggle is REAL.
There was so much more behind the onion that was Reed Rivers. I loved peeling back every layer. He was a man who was good and gone for Georgina. She OWNED that man in every way. He was nothing but putty when it came to her. Georgina was my girl, tenaciously fierce, I liiiived for her energy. And I loved every moment of them together.
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt on the audio just further cemented my love because they were incredible beyond words in the way they brought Reed and Georgina to life! The dream team that could never do any wrong when it comes to providing the best audiogasms.
Reed and Georgina’s story is a rollercoaster from start to finish. These two sure take you on a journey from the very first page of book one to the final page of book 3. I completely devoured their story and could not put it down.
The moment their eyes meet across the room there is a chemistry and a flame burning brightly between them. No one can deny the chemistry that these two have. Seriously, these two are bringing all the heat a time or two throughout this trilogy. Not to mention the back and forth banter? I was living for all of it.
I loved seeing Georgie peel Reed like an onion and discover the many layers that this man has. He doesn’t share about his personal life or talk about his past with anyone. He is a millionaire owner of his own record company and the man can be a shark. Yet, for those he lets in to his inner circle? The man will move heaven and earth for them and will do anything to protect those people.
I love how supportive Reed is when it comes to Georgina and her career. He knows she is full of talent and he wants to see her succeed and gives her all the opportunities to do so. Even when the subject matter is something from her past that she’s never spoken out loud about. Reed and Georgie are truly perfect for each other.
If you’re looking for an age gap, enemies to lovers, alpha male romance check this one out.
This was my first ever experience with this author and I WILL BE COMING BACK FOR MORE cuz ma'am I am hooked.
From the start the chemistry between Reed & Georgie was just out of this world and it did not fade throughout the entire trilogy.
I loved getting to know these characters so intimately.
Reed, the man with the Midas touch, the man with traumatic and somewhat mysterious childhood and the man with the heart of gold. Who does everything to support the people he loves and cares about. Who is ruthless in business yes but he's also fair. He takes what he wants but he's also jaded due to things in his past. He's such a complex and amazing character that you can't help falling in love with.
Georgina on the other hand is headstrong, bold, extraordinarily smart regardless of everything she's ever been through. She knew what she wanted and she went for it career wise. While doing that of course she also tried to support her step sister's music career as well. She's not afraid to fight back and stand up for herself and when she sniffs out a story wow she does NOT stop she's like a bloodhound!!
I would definitely recommend this trilogy. If you love age gap romances, spicy scenes, a well thought out story line that evokes so much emotion (both good and bad).
The Reed Rivers Trilogy follows the relationship development between Georgie Ricci and Reed Rivers. Be prepared to fall in love, get angry, swoon and laugh. You just might even shed a tear...I know I did.
**I listened to this series on audio and it contains all three books in the series. Bad Liar, Beautiful Liar and the conclusion, Beloved Liar. The audio time runs a little under 23 hours and was worth every minute. It is told in dual narration by Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt. I love anything these two do as they are so darn talented but together narrating this book......Well let's just say they nailed these characters and this story. If you are an audiobook lover and want a series you don't want to put down...get this one right here!
Lauren Rowe has become an auto buy author for me. Her stories are filled with everything you want in a romance. The stories are not cute. They are filled with real life problems that are relatable and let me tell you, Lauren brings the heat and the angst. I am absolutely in love with her writing and her stories are amazing. Lauren has a large backlog of books filled with wonderful stories to dive into and she has something for everyone. Start here and see what I am talking about. I absolutely devoured this audiobook series and I know you will too!
This was a 3 in 1, steamy, age gap, romance. The Trilogy features the three books, bad list, beautiful list, and beloved liar.
The story is told in dual pov and follows the MCs Georgina and Reed. Their relationship was a whirlwind of emotions with no dull moments and great banter. Georgina is a talented up and coming music journalist who lands her dream job and an exclusive interview with successful music mogul, Reed Rivers. Reed is a true Alphahole, he gets what he wants and does not accept no easily. He and Georgina had instant chemistry and Georgina sure gave Reed a run for his money. In the end, my opinion about Reed changed as he turned out to be quite the cinnamon roll. He certainly knows how to make a girl scream yes, yes, yes in more ways than one! You will definitely want to f around and find out about this one! 😜

Overall, loved this read! I listened to the audiobook which is dual narrated by Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan. They did a great job bringing all that chemistry and tension to life! I enjoyed this so much more than I thought such is a testament to the quality of Lauren Rowe’s writing.
I got to listen to the audiobook of the complete trilogy and I am blown away. I highly believe that audiobooks are a great way to imagine a story. The narrators bring life to these characters and show their emotions tenfold. Hats off.
The story itself is intriguing and is written well. Listening to it in one go definitely enhanced its perspective. The best thing was that I didn’t have to wait for the next book to free me from the anxiety of what could happen between books 2&3.
Within a few pages I fell in love with the main character Georgie, she has a charm that instantly attracts people. She is intelligent, beautiful and full of perspectives. The narrator Andi Arndt is freaking amazing portraiting Georgie.
Meanwhile, Jacob Morgan’s narration for Reed is hot. His character is equally hot once the layers of onion start peeling itself for our dear Georgie. Reed is an enigma but is actually very soft and dear. He is inspiring for many in the book.
All in all, I loved every aspect of the story and the ending is flawlessly done considering all the points and situations that lead everything to this final point. Every loose end gets tied up and everyone gets what they deserve. Perfect.

Reed Rivers is an unapologetic arrogant brutally honest grumpy music mogul who meets Georgina Ricci, a young fresh out of college wanting to make her mark in investigating journalism who is strong, sassy and full of life. Reed is instantly intrigued by Georginas beauty. Reed has no idea the firecracker that is Georgina and how she is about to turn Reed's life upside down.
This is one of the best slow burns I’ve ever read in a trilogy. When these two come together the tension and sparks are off the charts. There is so much more to this story than just Reed and Georgina, there are some heavier topics, there are side characters that were from previous books make an appearance and there are some great family moments. I’m Italian so of course I loved Lauren’s word choice for Georgina when she was mad at Reed!
Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt are phenomenal in this one. Jacob Morgan nails Reed's persona to perfection and Andi is just extraordinary in capturing Georgina’s sassy, strong willed personality.

The trilogy: * Bad Liar * Beautiful Liar * Beloved Liar
These books were nothing like I expected—but everything I love in a great story! My first time reading Lauren Rowe, and now I’m hooked. Her writing, those wild plot twists, and the banter between Reed and Georgie? FIRE. I’m already craving more!
Each book picks up where the last one leaves off, and you fly through them. Lauren Rowe knows how to keep you glued to the page. Reed Rivers and Georgina Ricci’s character growth was fantastic to follow. Their chemistry? Absolutely electric. You get sucked into their story from the start.
Georgie gets hired to write an exposé on Reed and his band. There’s forced proximity, secrets start spilling, and things get hot. Reed’s closed off, but totally gone for her. It’s packed with angst, desire, and chemistry that’s explosive in all the best ways. From lust to genuine love—swoon—Reed is such a protector, and I couldn’t get enough.
Jacob and Andi nailed the narration! They brought these characters to life—Jacob’s cocky Reed and Andi’s fiery Georgie? Perfect. I was hooked on every word. I can’t recommend these audiobooks enough. The characters, the plot, the spice—it’s all addictive. Add them to your TBR now!
The story follows Reed Rivers, a tough, private music mogul, and Georgina, a smart, ambitious reporter. The chemistry between them is immediate, and their back-and-forth banter is one of the best parts of the series. Reed comes off as a jerk at first, but as you get to know him, you see there’s more to him than his tough exterior. He’s got a heart for those he cares about, and his protective side really shines with Georgina. Georgina is tough, driven, and doesn’t take anyone’s crap. She knows what she wants, and that includes figuring out how to balance work and a very complicated attraction to Reed. Their relationship is full of tension, drama, and ups and downs. It’s not an easy road for them, and there are moments when Reed makes decisions that will make you want to shake him. But their growth and connection are rewarding. The side characters and Reed’s bands bring extra depth to the story, and by the end of the trilogy, I was invested in their lives too. There’s a lot of heat, drama, and emotional moments, and if you love age-gap, enemies-to-lovers romance, this one’s for you.

The way I DEVOURED this trilogy. I couldn’t get enough of Reed and Georgie.
I listened to the audio version of the trilogy and it was such a fun read. You’ve got a billionaire MMC player, a bada** FMC, so much drama and emotions, and the sweetest found family vibes. I swooned the entire time.
The narrators did the perfect amount of emotion and angst. The spicy scenes were 🥵🥵 and I was HERE for it. The narrators did a great job and bringing these characters to life. It truly enhanced my enjoyment. I highly recommend.
This was my first Lauren Rowe series, but I’m excited to read more! She really knows how to write a spicy romance with a great plot. I was so sucked into this story that I couldn’t stop listening. I loved so many of the side characters. So much so that I hope they get their own books as well. I’m a sucker for the found family vibe and it hit hard in this series. Especially the way the women brought Georgie into their group right away. I love women supporting women and it was done so well.
I can’t say enough about this series. Add it to your tbr. Reed Rivers is a dream. The way I rooted for this relationship from chapter 2 😂😂😂 the banter 🤌, the flirtation 😍 just everything!!
What an incredible experience! From the very first moments, this audiobook completely captivated me, and it kept me hooked until the very end.
The author’s writing style is smooth, immersive, and incredibly addictive. The story is not only fascinating but also so well-written that I binge-listened to three volumes in a row without stopping.
The flow of events is perfectly managed, and the character development is remarkably rich.
From the beginning, I adored Reed and Georgina. Even though Georgina occasionally got on my nerves, the depth of her character, as well as Reed’s, made them incredibly endearing.
And let’s talk about the narrators! Their voices are stunning, perfectly matching the protagonists’ personalities, and they played a huge part in making this listening experience so immersive. I’m convinced that without them, I wouldn’t have devoured the volumes with such enthusiasm.
The only downside is the abundance of secondary characters, which sometimes made it hard to keep track of everyone.
But honestly, this didn’t spoil my enjoyment at all. This audiobook series is a gem, and I highly recommend it!
