Boo'd Up with a Hood Legend
They say when it comes to hood love it’s double or nothing and all is fair when it comes to the streets. Although it may not show up in a fairytale fashion, love shows up when you least expect it.

This is a hood story featuring many characters and multiple intertwining narratives. It seems that most authors nowadays are turning their stories into series rather than just writing standalone books. I was enjoying the story until it abruptly ended with a "to be continued." I understand this approach for some stories, but for others, it feels unnecessary. I suppose I'll have to read the next book to see if it's justified🤷🏽.

This the kinda shit that be having me walking around thinking I want a hood dude that knows how to treat a lady. But honey! That getting shot at and hood shit really is not for me. My poor little heart couldn’t take getting shot at. This was good though! Just messy as hell just like I like it.

A good introduction to a good story so far....
For a first time reading this author, this was a wonderful introduction book with a good no nonsense story.
Jania was a good main character with a head on her shoulder and knew what she needed to do and wanted to do to move forward in life. Strong, dependable, loyal, hard worker, and direct are all trait from her.
Law, so far is a boss man. Alpha to the core, but a little bit washy washy and bringing in in too many unnecessary drama to the front.
Kenosha "Keke" is so far my favorite for now but she is too dumb and gullible when it comes to trick. I just hope she holds on this time and not giving in.
Trick, man you a low dirty one if what you are doing ever comes out and it will serve you right to lose everything.
Remy, girl, you are too good, too upright, too much better than all around to keep on going in this direction. I truly want to like you as much as I like Jania and Keke, but you are not making it easy at all. Move on!
Cam, well just like Trick, I do hope that you are not doing this side things because it will be too sad.
Million, love him. He seems to be the bae in this book. Alpha, gangster, strong, I don't know why he was not the main male character and got together with Janai instead. Mother both seems to be compatible and deserving of a good thang.
Now, I do have some questions: 1) what do these men do? 2) what are their profession? We know for the main 3 woman, but not these men.
Now the other and most important part is what these man are doing to the ladies and I can't wait to see how are they going to retaliate or not...my guess is that only Keke will have the proper reaction because Janai scared little but is not going to want to lose on Law while Remy is going to be scared of losing Cam. Million hasn't have too much POV so we don't know what kind of baggage he has but at least Trick should be out of there. Let's see if I am right in part 2.

Great Read
I don't know what kind of relationship Remy and Cam have. It's like they're together but they're not. Their situationship is weird but I know Remy is hurt behind Cam having a baby with Kisha. Judging from how Love acted in the beginning. Jania is better off without him. She also has caught the eye of Law. Law seemed like a good dude despite his past in the street's but I can't get with him inviting Lattie on a trip he taking Jania on. I don't see anything good coming from that. I can see why Law want to end his marriage. I think Brenda is going to give him hell since he wants a divorce and she also seem jealous of their two children. Keke have all the red flags to show that Trick ass have been up to no good. I don't know why Trick lied about his son's mother Terrica instead of telling Keke the truth. Million definitely told her the truth when he said "When you lie down with dog's you wake up with fleas". All of Trick lies are about to come tumbling out the closet. Terrica is out to hurt Keke. Keke is in the dark about it because she have no clue about all the lies Trick told. I couldn't do anything but shake my head at this ending.

Part 2 is gonna be good!!
Where do I begin?? Let's start with Keke and Trick. He is so low down for how he initially came at her and then still continue to do her dirty. The baby momma is crazy to go along with faking her death yet upset that she can't have a relationship with a child that doesn't know her at all. I really want Keke to give Million a chance depending on how he comes at her. Remy and Cam seem too toxic for their own good yet could be good for each other if they both grew up and communicated better. I'm rooting for Law and Jania but he has me looking at him sideways regarding this trip. He's breaking plays code numero uno with this one. I know just from the way part 1 ended that it's gonna be juicy. I just want my girls Jania, Remy, and Keke to win finally when it comes to love!!

Really Good!
The writer gives us a story that at first you are going to say "hey I've seen this act before" ,well that might be the case but you about to get a new spin put on it.There three women in this story ,that can hold their own and then some.The writer gives us the backstory but she lets us know they have something going for themselves. There weakness is the men they love and the decisions they know that have to be made.We get a mysterious group of men who know what they want,what they will not tolerate and exactly who they are. This is a story that's Benn thoughtThout and is brewing.not only with romance but with a.few.mysteries to boot. This was really a.good story,in spite on the typos . So looking forward to the next episode, because it promises to be a.dozy.

Decent, but so far KEKE is not living up to the way her character was hyped. She’s actually the weakest of the three. The way the book opened had me thinking she wasn’t with the shits…but she’s with all the shits. Sis knows her man is cheating and still allows it. That threw me off immediately.
The book opens with Jania talkin’ about calling her cousin Keke, who be on that, and even Keke boosted herself up like she’s really about it. Child please. Jania is the strongest out of the three so far. Despite being in love with her ex, he’s throwing his baby mama, the same one he cheated with…in her face and even kicked her out. This book was so good and I couldn’t put it down. That ending.... Now Trick should know that all that’s done in the dark comes to the light and his time is about up. I love the mystery of Million and I’m excited to hear more from him and see where things with him and Keke end up. Now Law. I like him but at the same time he’s asking for trouble too and I think he’s gonna ruin things with Janis before they get started. Remy is going to end up pushing Cam away. I definitely understand her hurt but at the same if your gonna forgive do that and move on. I already know the real drama hasn’t begun yet and I’m ready for it.

Messy!
I believe this book was a good intro into the series. This book follows Jania and Remy who are sisters that were raised by their grandmother and their cousin Keosha whom they grew up together with along with all of their no good man. Jania is dealing with a recent break up with her man that threw her out because he thought she was cheating so here she is back living her her grandmother. Remy is dealing with her boyfriend Cam that just recently got out of prison and revealed to Remy that he has a baby by a girl from around the way. Although Remy wants to accept it and move past all of it she can’t shake the betrayal, even with Cam seeming as if he is all in now. Keosha and Trick are doing fine until Trick’s baby mama pops out the wood works wanting to be a family again. The main problem with that is that although KeKe has been raising Trick son as her own all his life she was under the impression that the baby mama died some time ago. There was a lot going on in this book and I am itching to get to part 2!

Now I like Jania and law dealing with each other. Hopefully million and keke hook up.

Had to give a 4 star review. I mean don't get me wrong. I love any book S Yvonne write but my thing about this book is it started out boring. It seem like it didn't get good until Terrica started telling Trick how she want to be in her son life and she warned him things would be bad if he don't let her. I'm sorry but I'm on Terrica side. Just cause she went to jail and Trick met a new female and fell in love don't mean he can just x her out her son's life and raise his kid with his new female. I got a feeling though that Trick might end up killing Terrica but we'll see. Let me gone to book 2!

That ending!! Terrica is definitely barking up the wrong tree. Trick is all out of tricks. How will he handle things. I need to sprain my ankle if i get to be picked up by a Gawd himself. Law is the man. Milli is so nonchalant about things. Will KeKe give in or just be stuck on stupid. Remy betta stop playing and get her man. Mooch better take notes and learn from the mistakes of all the women in her life. I can't wait to see what unfolds in pt.2

This book was good from beginning to end. Them sisters and cousins ain't to be played with Especially Keke . I can't wait for her to find out what Trick up to and Terrica is one brave h--. I wonder who Mooch sneaking out with i pray it's not one of her cousins dirty men I'm thinking Love. Cam and Remy need to get it together. I believe Law is a great guy for Jania but making a big mistake taking Lattie to Hawaii with him. Can't wait for part two.

Great read, Jani is a boss in the making because when her dude put her out she dipped and continued on with life and getting her coins. Trick and his bm are both crazy and he played the wrong one his girl because she doesn’t play. Remy needs to talk with Kam because I think she is his everything not the bm. Welllllllll here we go again, mess galore via S.Yvonne!!! By the end of this it better not be a redemption for Trick, dude is fr weird for the way he moves. Law and Jania are definitely my favorite part of this so far. Mooch is definitely up to something. I need more background on Million and hopefully that is in book 2. Cam and Remy are cute but it’s toxic, and they very much like being toxic together.

I'm liking this book 😄😄
This is my first time reading a book by this author. The story held my attention right away. Once I was able to get the characters straight. I found myself truly enjoying this book. I just wanted to know what happens next. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Great Read
This book was good from beginning to end and what a ending. Its full of drama and more drama. These characters got me so in the storyline and I'm enjoying every minute of it. After that ending, I can't wait to see what happens next. On to the next installment. Great job S. Yvonne.
